If I could give 0 stars I would have. I have never felt so insulted in a restaurant before. We arrived near closing time while a birthday party was happening and were going to leave but they told us we could be served while the party was still ongoing since it was going to be a while as they hadn't served food or cake yet. Then while we were finishing our first drink a couple came in and ordered a bottle of wine and sat down. Shortly thereafter we asked to order another drink and were refused. We tried to explain that we would also leave when the couple finished their bottle, i.e. they would not have to wait around for us at all. We were still refused to be served. The birthday party was still going strong and the couple were still on their first glass of wine. We were the only people in the place who were refused service. We said that we won't return here again and the drunk owner came out after us outside, started speaking aggressively to my partner as if he wanted to fight him.

Great cozy location with nice music and vibe. Great for beer, not so great for food. We had a beef salad, which according to the menu, should come with a dressing (and it didn't). When I asked the waitress (who was very nice to us) that there s no dressing, just the oil and vinegar available on the tables. Salad was basically some rucola, some coldish beef and some grated parmesan with some sort of focaccia. Well.... I guess it satisfied the hunger. Price was not high but not cheap either. French fries, frozen and not so good. We had an unfiltered beer (good) and a Hugo (not really good). Again, the place is nice, the vibe is great, stuff is nice, if they would work on the good quality I would totally recommend. Not hating, just hoping they will improve C.

I like this place, it has a very good location, is quiet, in a peaceful neighborhood, about ten minutes walk to the metro station, or twenty minutes walk to home - of course, if you live in the nearby :) If you feel like a bit hungry, pizza is good, I liked pizza diavola, but I am sure you can find other treats that you like. Wine, beer, non alcoholic drinks or water are available. People are very nice, polite, they take your order fast and serve the food in time. The prices are decent, accessible to almost everyone. There is room outside to meet with a few friends, or colleagues, but you have to make a reservation before that, otherwise you risk to find everything taken.

I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone! It's one of those places that has great food (international dishes also), a nice atmosphere and really great people. Also, the neighborhood is gorgeous so that it's another plus - you can finish an evening by having a walk through the Cotroceni neighborhood (right beside the Cotroceni palace). Again, don't hesitate to visit this place!

Cosy place in one of the nice and (still) unspoiled neighborhood of Bucharest. Just stopped for a couple of drinks in a summer weekend day when sun decided to melt the city - so I have no idea how the food is, but service was very efficient and polite but still casual. The nice street with low traffic (maybe only during weekend ?!) gives the feeling that the terrace is in a parc, with some old trees which offer a good protection from the sun. The few tables occupied by people who seemed to live in the area created a warm and intimate atmosphere. I'll be back in the near future to find out more about Jazzbook.
