Perfect place for brunch/lunch. Short but creative menu. Everything from the coffee to the sandwiches was delicious. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Totally recommend.

I went to PAPILA for their Sunday Ramen. It's a cool tradition, the ramen is very tasty, and the way it is served is simply awesome. I also enjoyed their friendly and helpful service, as well as the interior design of their location. The only thing that isn't great is the music that they sometimes play. When I was there, they played something that is more appropriate for a club, not a restaurant. I hope they will also take this aspect into consideration.

We went there for their ramen soup, of which i heard a lot of good things about, and I was not disappointed - the ramen was good. A bit pricy, but good. The Lemonade was also good, and the selection of beers. I've heard good things about their sandwiches too, so, i will definitely go back there!

One of the best places to eat in Bucharest. We had the pleuroutus & chickpea soups and when I tell you.. these were the best soups we ever had. Eggs were amazing, and also the cheese sandwich, as well as the salads, full of flavour. The place is well designed and it feels comfy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to come back to try the other dishes!

Very good place for lunch. Looks very pretty inside. They have a few tables outside in the street. They have vegan options - dish aren’t super big so you might need several depending on your appetite. I very much enjoyed the chocolate cake with caramel.

Small, great pace. There were tons of delivery people stopping here. So There is a high volume of customers here for lunch. Thai soup, chicken sandwich, and leaf salad, which is a combo order.

Kept wanting to stop here and finally did. Wow. Impressive. Excellent food, cozy atmosphere and my waitress Adina was great! Can't wait to go back for the dinner menu!

Overall it is a very foody experience. The place is quite small but one of the cool things it has is exterior heaters and we were able to enjoy the food and a good chat in the gloomy weather with the warm light above. The fruit tea and masalla chai were good. I recommend the combo platter as it lets you explore the food a bit better and the quantities are ok for what you need. The Thai soup was ok but the creme soup with cashews really did impress me as it was a perfect palance of flavour and textures. The gulash sandwich was really tasty and definitely felt like a deconstructed goulash, it was missing a bit of tomato flavour in it for the full goulash hit but it was a really foody treat. The mash with beef was also good as the beef was tender and the mash had a sort of taboule sauce which I quite enjoyed. Fo the dessert the lemon cheesecake had a perfect lemon sauce and also good layered textures. All in all it is the type of place where people that love food can enjoy something new.

Lovely place with super tasty food. I tried their pork with celery root puree and the pork was sooo tender and juicy. The staff is extremely friendly and dogs are more than welcome. The place itself is quite small and it gets really busy during the weekend so make sure you book your table in advance. They also offer outdoor seating. What I really appreciate about their menu is the fact that it contains pictures as well.

Great food, but I did not find something extraordinary. Is a good food, tasty, but I was expecting at something more ...diferent. I really appreciate what they are doing, but I think it is overrated. If something was at 7* level, this it was the coffee!!! Great one!

I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this place. It kinda small, but it adds to a cozy atmosphere, it has really great food and coffee it you're in search for well brewed specialty coffee. Overall a great place and would recommend to anyone!

I finally got the time to come here for brunch and I must say I am a little bit impressed, they really are as good as everyone says, really clean plates, very tasteful products and a cozy atmosphere of a non mainstream place. will come again for the dinner and the good wines!

Always enjoying this place! You can't go wrong with anything from the menu. Carefully outsourced ingredients, best sandwiches so far that I know in Bucharest! Also, they have #naturalwine pairing very well with their dishes. You have to try it at least once, and after that you'll become a regular 😜

We went to Sunday ramen. I chose pork miso which was good, the egg perfectly cooked, meat as well. What I didn't like was the fennel taste of the soup, not sure if this was part of the veggies or it was some seasoning. The mix of salads was tasty, but I would say a bit too small quantity. The imuno drink taste was amazing. The space is quite small and it seems you stay at the table with the "neighbors" as well. Staff is extremely friendly and gentle.

After a long day, this place was exactly what I was looking for: the atmosphere, food, and waiters were divine. I ordered an evening dish which combined three plates- appetizer, main course, and a fluffy, tasty dessert. Thank you for a great dinner!

The food is excellent, both dine-in and delivery. They have the best pumpkin soup I’ve ever had. The staff is super nice and friendly and the place itself is very cosy. It’s small, so make sure you make a reservation if you want to eat here at the weekend.

The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. However, the food might be a little to oily & greasy for those who are not used to eating like that. Great turmeric latte and interesting selection of lemonade & great desserts.

Went here for the ramen Sunday after many attempts to book a table. Ramen was good, taste was very distinct - never tasted something like this before (as I’m a huge fan of ramen). I ordered pork ramen and I really liked it. Organic iced tea had a bit of an after taste, coffee was good and the smoothie was phenomenal!

The ramen is exceptional. We were blown away by the depth of flavor, the deliciousness, the portion size, and its components. We had Pork Miso and Pork Tonkotsu, and they were both really good. A bit on the heavy side, quite salty, but very delicious. We will definitely come again. The prices are not low but for the quality of the food I think they are fair. You have to be really quick to get a reservation. There was a small mishap (we arrived 10 mins earlier and the waiter told us to wait a bit more. We waited for 15 minutes outside, and they called me on the phone asking if I'm coming cause I had a reservation. I was like... we're waiting at your door and we told you that. It was quite funny and an honest mistake) but it did not take away from the experience.

There aren't to many options, only 3 choices for main course but the food is super tasty. The waiters are nice. The prices are a bit high, but if you choose starter + main course + desert you get a discount. The space is kind of small. Unfortunately ramen soup is only served on Sundays so we couldn't try. I recommend the place.

Good food, cozy atmosphere therefore it's the perfect way to chill down. We were there for dinner but I will definitely come back to try the other dishes as well. I recommend the fish file, it's absolutely delicious and the also the icre. All food is delicious, but there were my favorites. Well done to the Chef and also the team for creating such a warm atmosphere!

Nice music, dimmed lights and a friendly atmosphere. We tried the combos (soup, salad and sandwich) and it was one of the best brunches I have ever had! I highly recommend the Thai soup and the Frenchie sandwich!

Attention to details, cosy place where I landed by chance after more than half a day working around the city and it was a nice surprise to get a very quiet moment, right before the closure. The food was delicious, borș tasted just like a homemade spring one, with plenty of greens of the top kind and the hummus and eggs just the perfect portion and balanced taste. The staff is very kind and they try ti accommodate any needs, they look after the place neatly and the attention to details in the decoration of the place is noticed in their attitude as well. If I wasn’t full I would have tried their coffee and some desert and for sure I need to go back for the ramen, since it’s so praised. There is also place to seat outside but better to reserve, I didn’t have a reservation but it was a random Tuesday afternoon, they also deliver.

If I were to describe a comfort meal, this restaurant would be it, very cozy and an astonishing interior design, the soup and sandwich combo is just perfect, even the people that work here are insanely friendly, a very positive experience in general. P.s. You do have to be really hungry though to finish your food. :)

I had better, and dare I say "more authentically" ramens in Bucharest.. Big prices, we came only to see what the hype was all about - I don't get it.. Very crowded tables inside & hated eating at the tables on the "terrace" (small sidewalk).

  • 4/5 Marko M. 7 months ago on Google
The food is delicious. It made a bad impression that we were made to wait in front of the restaurant for literally 2 minutes because “it was not open yet”.

Best ramen in Bucharest and one of the bests i’ve ever eaten (i recommend the seafood one)! The staff is eager to help and very, very thankful to our feedback. Chocolate cake was also delicious. Better make a reservation.

It’s a very nice place with a great vibe. However I can’t say I enjoyed the food that much. I had the fish roe mousse which were way too salty. I can testify that they were good, but someone really messed up the saltiness part. My friend had the coquelet which was good, but a bit flavorless.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and stylish. Attentive staff. Amazing food, the type you would find in a fancy London restaurant, but with a Romanian twist. Many vegetarian options. We also got some white wine recommended by the staff (Tamaioasa romaneasca) fresh and floral, very nice. The cheese board with Italian cheeses was also super nice. Honest prices.

If I could eat here every day, I would. My favoritez are the Thai soup and the Basque cheesecake. It's also really nicely decorated inside, like a French cafe with Scandinavian accents.

Great place, delicious breakfast and tasty cappuccino. I recommend it.

Great, cozy place in a less crowded area of Bucharest. Sundays are ramen only, and while choices aren't overwhelming, you will absolutely love whatever you have - we're talking real umami here. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation, it's likely to always be packed on weekends.

Really adorable place and nicely decorated. The food is fresh and nice but a bit heavy and greasy; I ordered a chicken sandwich but more than the chicken kebab other ingredients, it was mostly a grilled cheese and with a lot of butter. The side salad was really lovely though, and the bread it was on was great. Would try other things as well!

A cute and cozy place to have a great brunch and drink some specialty coffee. Usually crowded so it's best to make a reservation.

I've been here multiple times, for ramen Sundays and for regular days and I was never disappointed!!! Tasty food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere! Ramen is AMAZING (and I ate one in China). Papila is my go to place I will never get enough of it 🥰

It is a nice choice for anytime during the day. Good service and kind staff. You might need to reserve a table before because there are few tables available and the bistro is small.

  • 5/5 Bogdan D. 2 years ago on Google
Really tasty food, great quality and decent prices. All the soups are delicious: tomato, cold avocado and the thai spicy one. Also the ‘piure’ with toppings are tasty - I had the beef one and was like homemade. Also if you’re not really hungry or have a small appetite, can go for the combos: half soup + half piure or half soup, sandwich and salad. They are pet friendly also, keep in mind the place is small, so it can get a bit crowded during usual hours.

We had lunch and dinner. Both of the chefs were amazing and the food was unbelievable! Highly recommend to taste the desserts even if you think you can’t eat anymore. The service by Mira was incredible, felt like eating at a friend’s house. Atmosphere 10/10 Price 10/10 Taste 20/10
