It has a beautiful interior design both of them, the building itself and the restaurant. The food is obviously italian but a pretty good one. The service is rather fast and the atmosphere is nice. During our stay in Bucharest, we stayed on the building above the restaurant, so on our first night we thought we’d eat there. We ordered 3 dishes (a pizza, a pasta and schnitzel with roasted potatoes) and paid ~40€ (almost 200lei). The pizza was too thin, the pasta was tasty but not that big of a portion and the schnitzel tasted like burned and had a boatload of cream on top. Potatoes were fine. The waiter could barely understand what we were saying in English (but most Romanians don’t really speak English we gathered), kept coming on our table to fill our glasses with water and kept asking “finish?” to take our plates, which was very annoying and felt like they were trying to empty the table on a night that they were clearly not busy. When we got the check, he showed to us the 3 choices we had to tip him reaching up to 15% and made it feel like it was mandatory to tip him, when we couldn’t even speak with him. Not a great experience overall, the location is not great, and the staff should really at least try to speak some basic English!!
