This is a paradise for any bookworm. So many books, so little time. The prices are more than decent and you can find almost any genre. It is a very good place to find a nice gift and get yourself a little something. They also have calendars, notebooks and small knick-knacks. You can also find books in English.

If you love books, games and toys and you don't want to pay a fortune for them, then here you have to come. My babygirl was charmed by a few animal shaped toys, my husband found here his Halo Mythos guide and I was happy with my new shopping bag.

This is an used book store. Nothing special, apart it's small area, hence the offer is quite limited, especially compared with it's larger brother two bus stops away.

I was lookimg for something else when I stumbled upon this gem. English books for dirt cheap prices, in mint condition. Clearly some unsold new stock from overseas, as they don't have the latest and greatest, but you will find famous authors' books for unbelievable prices.

Great selection of books, all of which seems to be in english language, at incredibly affordable prices. I highly recommend for anyone looking for books in english or simply looking for a great deal.

It was a bad experience, I would not recommend. The smell inside is awful like mildew, the floor is cracked and it is a potential risk for the customers to trip and fall, the "reading space" has a carpet that wasn't cleaned in at least some years by the looks of it and the books are stacked randomly. No organization whatsoever. There are a lot of places to buy books on the cheap but this is not the place, it's not worth the time or money.

The smell was unpleasant. They should use a room freshener. It smelled like mold, old wood that wasn't reconditioned. The carpet from the so called reading area was miserable. The floor tiles were chipped and a danger for customers to walk upon. They had old calendars for sale from 2020. Who buys old calendars with animal pictures?! The books weren't displayed by categories, it seemed they were put randomly, by price only.

It is a library where you can find a lot of books that cannot be found anywhere else. The prices are great. I visit this place each time I come to Bucharest in order to buy the books that I did not know I need :D

The books are organized by price and then sub-organized by themes so if you're looking for something you'll have to find its price category first and then look for it in the appropriate theme section. Prices aren't extreme bargains but books are even more expensive in the west, so tourists will still mostly get a great price. I recommend looking at their website and checking if printing houses you like are represented, and if the prices are good compared to BookDepository. Knowing the price from the website will also help you navigate to what you want, due to the price-based organization. Employees were unfriendly and wouldn't look me in the eye, but they were nice to Romanians so your experience may be different. (There are two locations of this store, so check both for books you want before thinking it's not in stock.)

So many great books and good deals. I don't go there to look for specific books, but to do a bit of treasure hunting and I almost always buy something. Novels, art albums, stationery, even toys. I really like looking around :)

Amazing place! Lots of art books, art albums, classic novels, books for kids or manga/ anime/graphic novels. Lots of other little useful things too ( diaries, notebooks, pens, toys etc). Amazing prices and perfect quality for all products.
