Way too overpriced for what it delivered. I've seen many immersive museums in Wien and Napoli, all of them had the same price as MINA, but the experience was far better (and the video projections were longer). For me, it wasn't an immersive experience, the videos were way too slow and the animations were mediocre. At this stage, I won't recommend it, but I am sure it can become better. The staff working there was amazing.

Such an extraordinary experience. I loved everything about visiting the MINA museum. This experience was something very new to me, but all I can say is that if you're in Bucharest, then you should definitely visit the MINA museum. You won't regret it. If you want to enjoy art or to live a unique experience (an immersive experience), then you must visit this place. I went there during weekdays ,to avoid big crowds and to enjoy the show. The entry fee is 50 lei per person and I bought the tickets in advance. The show lasts about 30 minutes. There are also floor cushions you can use. The staff members are very nice and helpful.

Overall a nice and new experience for me. The projections were qualitative. The sounding could have been better, it had too much bass and it was a bit too difficult to understand (even in Romanian). Also, at the time when we went, there were a lot of kids running around. Good to check out!

Even though the name infers a museum, the experience is better described as a very beautiful and fully immersive artistic movie. Amazing art flows all around you, including an underwater view that feels like your diving without your scuba gear. You feel like you're completely immersed in the experience for sure. Great one hour show for the price. We took our 4 year old daughter and our 8 year old godchild. Our 4 year old hates loud sounds, so she didn't like it at all, hence my 4 stars instead of 5, but our 8 year old had a blast. Dancing and trying to catch the fish swimming around together with the other children who were all clearly having lots of fun. Certainly worth a visit.

It is still at the beginning, so few things will be improved based on their own observations and feedback received. The organization was a bit chaotic because there was a lot of interest at the opening and people did not respect the scheduled times from booking. We waited 30 minutes for 30 minutes experience. It cost 150 lei for 3 people, a lot of money for such a short experience of watching videos - videos were nice, more the Klimt one, the aquatic one was closer to 90`s screensavers and sound could be better. The ceiling is black and affects how much you can be immersed, it should be blended in somehow. The behaviour of the visitors was lousy - rules need to be made visible and enforced. You cannot enjoy quietly because of people standing up in the area with pillows to sit down, because of kids screaming and running out of control in the main area (great parenting!), because of people chatter sound all the time, because of filming and photography is with flash.

A highlight of our Bucharest trip! The Immersive experience at MINA was awesome! Some reviewers here must not like children, because I found that the children were not too bad. They brought some joy to the space in some of the moments. It looks like there will be more for children in the future too, so this is an awesome family experience. In the entrance you get to interact with a real-time AI person projected on the wall. The interior light is dimmed to allow you eyes to adjust before entering the main immersion space. There is a full bar and gift shop there too. There were two immersive experiences: Gustav Klimt and an Underwater world. We have been to the Van Gogh Immersive and we were equally impressed with the digital work done in tribute to Klimt. The works are deconstructed and recombined in unique ways, allowing to appreciate the nuances of the paintings. The mirrored corners also give cool opportunities for interesting photos! Bravo to the MINA team and all the credit to the work put into it! 👏🏻

The Museum of Immersive Art in Bucharest offers a captivating experience that truly immerses visitors in the world of art. The way they integrate technology and artistic expression is impressive, making it an engaging and interactive journey through various art forms. Now, regarding Gustav Klimt's art, his works are characterized by intricate details, symbolism, and a unique blend of realism and abstraction. His golden phase, featuring pieces like "The Kiss," showcases his masterful use of gold leaf and intricate patterns, resulting in visually stunning and emotionally evocative artworks. Klimt's art often explores themes of love, desire, and the human connection, leaving a lasting impact on art enthusiasts worldwide.

The location super convenient and accessible, especially if you're planning to take the metro. If you're driving, there's an ample parking space available right in the complex. The museum itself has a minimalistic industrial look, which gives the place an cool modern and stylish vibe. They've included a bar area inside, so you can grab a drink and chillax. Klimdt, in particular, was a great! The sound, the artwork, and the effects made a great experience. Definitely would see it again and I can't wait to see what's next! Dont forget to check their website, they have more information about the show and frequently asked questions.

It’s a nice museum, compares to other similar ones I’ve seen in other countries. The video projections were very nicely done, the space is well thought out. BUT the experience was pretty bad for us because of a lot of small screaming, yelling children who were roaming freely and ruining the “immersive” part. (Not in the children’s area, in the general one). Maybe don’t allow access for under 8-10 y.o, since unfortunately Romanian children aren’t very well behaved and their parents don’t really care about other people around.

It's a really nice take on a "museum", it's small but pleasant and isn't just a museum per say, more of a relaxation center, as long as you don't count the kid's attraction (the most popular attraction). For the regular experience you get access to a huge bar, a sort of living room and a mini Carturesti with merch, I recommend.

The vibrant colors, captivating show, atmospheric ambiance, and the essence of emotions conveyed on screen at the Mina Museum while showcasing Klimt's work created a memorable and immersive experience for me.

It was a beautiful experience, I highly recommend for both adults and kids. They have a kids area where they can play on tramboulines, video games, slides, ball pool, paint on tablets, all of the rooms being filled with projections and also the immersive room which is more for adults (but kids are welcomed too) plus a bar. In my opinion, it's one of the best places where you can spend a winter afternoon.

Congratulations on the idea. I am really glad to see Romanian ownership bringing digital immersive art to Bucharest, bringing us in line with the big developed cities of the world. I went there with my 4 years old daughter and wife and we really had fun for 2 hours. First we tried the Immersive art room where we enjoyed Gustav’s Klimt digital showpieces and the underwater world. I read reviews before going that some people did not enjoyed because some children are yelling at this show and they can be disturbing. This is not the location fault, is the parents fault, as the location announces through messages that the show should be enjoyed in silence and children should be supervised all the time for the best experience for all guests, so stop reviewing on that. As I went with a 4 year older child and she stayed around us and enjoyed the visuals together explaining her what is happening, i think also other’s would do the same if the parents would care and would not leave their children non supervised and let them free to run which for me is ok and normal for these ages but not to yell around. In the end is about education :) Also if you want, you can come later after 19:00 when children are not allowed anymore. Mina Kids - for us this was the real fun point. We enjoyed the time there exploring each installation, and was really hard to leave in the end, because my daughter of course, did not wanted to leave because she was having a lot of fun. Congratulations on what you are doing and looking forward to see what comes next ✨✨✨✨✨

It's a wonderful experience, must try in Bucharest Kids Explorarium One of the nicest ways to offer joy to your kids! Two hours will fly by, your kid will beg to come back. If you can, go during the week, not in weekend, when is a little too much of everything. Gustav Klimt, Lumea Subacvatica Having gone in the evening, were a lot of children, so full of joy, but also a lot of screaming and a little chaotic. Both projections are great.

The pictures are nice, but really immersive the experience it is not. The ceiling is not being used as a projection surface, and a projector shoots beams of light right into your eyes. Plus: the sound is too loud and the voices are tingy. In an ideal world, you would find yourself in a bubble of videowalls, where nothing breaks the flow of pictures. But: it's something else to do in a capital that doesn't offer too much aside from eating&drinking.

Spectacular, a bit short, I expected to last more, but it deserve the time to enjoy such a 3D show made out of paintings. The feeling, the creative show is awesome.

It was an absolute bliss, the staff was very friendly, we fortunately had part of a very pleasant and quiet crowd and the klimt exposition is absolutely beautiful. For sure the place to go if you like contemporary art and installations.

Not bad, but It's not interesting if showing under water and its inhabitants. As for me, I expected 1 hour of digital arts, but not some one and for kids. In addition, this is not an organized visit by the museum. I got inside when during the digital art show, not at the beginning of it. At the same time, I waited for 40 minutes to let me in.

Absolutely amazing museum you are totally I.nerced in the art, I have never experienced anything luje this. It's a must to visit whenever in Bucharest. I will be back with my children next time. Spectacular

Yes, the art is very cool, nothing to say about that. What really bothered me was that parents let their children roam around wherever they wanted and all I could’ve seen were those noisy children, while their parents were looking on their phone. It’s true that it’s not the museum’s fault for that, but they should make sure that the rules about the noise made in the room is actually followed. Also, the price is quite high for what you’re seeing. (50 lei for maximum 30 minutes worth of seeing stuff)

A nice place for families with small children to go out. As an adult, it's okay but not particularly interesting or big. There are fun visual displays where minimal interaction can take place, but don't expect anything like l'Atelier des Lumières. Most times the robots (such as a screen featuring a squirrel) don't understand the questions. I recommend a little stop at the bar/cafe and eating some of their banana bread. It's really scrumptious.

I love immersive art and the fact people are curious about it is really nice. We went at One Night Gallery x Nimurad that lasted for 2 days. The price for one ticket was 50 lei.

I visited with two 9 year olds in August. It was a short yet nice experience. Gift shop is not opened. We will visit again when the kids wing will be functional. We were not bothered by the noise of the other kids but adults should be alerted to sit on the floor, as they block the view for people around them. If visiting with kids you should be aware some of Klimt's characters are nude.

A great experience in a unique space. The projections are so real they transport you to another world, congratulations for the concept, the realization and good luck to the team.

Nice idea, but a bit expensive for only two 30-minute presentations (15 minutes each)...

A disappointing experience. Totally disproportionate price-quality ratio for what is offered, a sort of painted fence outside and leopard inside. Total chaos. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it

  • 1/5 Gabriel B. 3 months ago on Google • 2 reviews New
the only good part was the presentation made by Mr. Prunariu if you are a parent and you miss "the 7 years at home", I recommend the location....you can make new friends (and yes, I was with a 6-year-old child who sat nicely next to me without running wildly and screaming together with the other 15-20) the young ladies at the entrance shrug their shoulders and recommend the screenings, after 19:00 (from what I see here, there are problems even after that time) otherwise, the experience can be interesting with all the minuses related to the pillars and ceiling.....the price is too high for what it offers

👍👍 The first private museum in Bucharest. Tour is recommended from top to bottom to see the art from backwards to present. Heard some of the coolest stories about the artist from the board member Suzana. You know this place is cool when it gets cool people to get involved.
