Nice, it was a weekend. The building and surroundings looked run down and not looked after. Locals are very helpful and nice people.

The main civic place in Bucharest where most major "happy" events take place, like concerts and the Christmas market. For those unhappy events which often involve protesting against the government and corruption, Romanians go to Victory plaza. Constitution plazza is one of the must visited places in Bucharest.

Visited for New Year's celebration. Very nice area, lots of charm. The streets will make you understand why Bucharest is often referred to as little Paris.

Beautiful square and a lot important for Romanian History. The huge Constitutional Square (translated name), was strategically placed here in past; exactly in front of Palace of Parliament from when the last dictator Ceahusescu (last dictator of Romania and also the man who order the construction) use to speak to the people. I totally agree with the idea to get a ticket for Palace of Parliament tour cause I really appreciate the history lesson Iā€™ve got about the city and his aspect. Suggested.

Free Parking spots available near the city center and also on the Unirii Boulevard. The Constitution Square is also the location for the Christmas market.

Nice place, good products, HIGH prices. The products are very good and expensive in general however local price is at least double or triple than usual, at least for fresh cooked food. In general, pleasant experience.

One of the popular squares in Bucharest, itā€™s a public paid parking space and a nice place to walk around. You can see the beautiful architecture of the palace of the parliament and get a nice picture with a view. I recommend this place to visit if youā€™re coming to Bucharest!

A great place to park up for a relaxing night, showcase your car or just see other fancy wheels. Don't come with drinks on-board or modified exhausts. The police is patrolling the place to intimidate any loud or uncivilized drivers. Maybe someday you can see a police BMW doing drag races!

Nestled in the heart of Bucharest, Piata Constitutiei comes alive each night with a lively car show that entertains locals and visitors alike. As the sun goes down, the square fills with gleaming sports cars, vintage automobiles, and tricked out vehicles of all kinds parading around the square. Car enthusiasts can be found showing off their prized autos and revving their engines much to the delight of spectators. From flashy Lamborghinis to classic Oldsmobiles, you never know what will roll through each evening. The nightly car show provides free entertainment for all ages and gives visitors a taste of Bucharest car culture. During the day, the square still bustles with activity from tourists, families, shoppers, and couples enjoying the cafƩs and historic buildings around its perimeter. But it's at night when Piata Constitutiei really shines thanks to the diverse array of cars that circle the square each evening. Don't miss it on any trip to Bucharest!

Very cute christmas market filled with contend and local produce! Large panoramic wheel installed for nice overview of the city. A lot of security on spot and smart organization which is highly appreciated. Missing some sweets like chimney cake, better lavatories overall, since it is such a crowded place, missing better parking organization, at least for holidays. Recommending!

Nice Christmas market this year with plenty of food options. However, the organizers should pay more attentions to the bands they bring and also to the sound system. I would say a big No, No to the presence of a hard rock band to a Christmas market.

It's a place where is organized Christmas Market. You'll find many artisans with beautifull products. Also you can taste different mulled wine from various parts of Romania. With wine you can taste various pastrami, fries, sausage, steak, patisserie and chocolate.

I was at the Christmas Market and I can say that it is a long distance to walk and you don't have access by the car in the area diuring this event but other way it is nice with one of the greatest building on the Earth.

As someone born in Bucharest, Cișmigiu has always been a staple of the city. It's the biggest park in Central Bucharest, a literal breath of fresh air from the noisy chaos of the traffic all around. The artificial lake can be enjoyed by rowboat during the summer, or by ice skates in winter. Don't miss it when you're visiting town.

  • 4/5 Mihai S. 3 years ago on Google
'a walk through the park...', Cișmigiu also has an ice rink during winter. At least 2 wonderful coffee shops nearby (@Beans&Dots and @Origo) are a great addition. Overall a good place to get in the mood for a post-pandemic year. šŸ˜Š

Convenient parking for tourists visiting the Parliament Palace. Temporary Covid-19 Vaccine Center.

  • 3/5 Marian I. 2 years ago on Google
Basically, a large parking surrounded by governmental buildings. Mostly worth visiting for the beautiful view to the Parliament building on the hilltop in one side, and another beautiful view to Unirea fountains, especially at night, on the other side. In 2021 half of the parking is allocated to an (mostly) empty mobile vaccination center. Parking is pretty expensive in Constitution Plazza, best avoid if you have alternatives. Some concerts were organized in Constitution Plazza before Covid pandemic. Sometimes, at calm late afternoons and nights, people gather in the parking area to chat and play, when Police allows it.

  • 4/5 Charles W. 2 years ago on Google
The view of the parliament building was a bit obscured by the impromptu vaccination Centre but still very impressive

  • 3/5 Naba B. 1 year ago on Google
It's worth a look as a huge building. Strange how we end up admiring all these structures that could have been built only by ruthless dictators and rulers who couldn't care less about how many had to suffer so they could fulfill their "grand" vision. Hmmm... that makes me feel like such a hypocrite who travels just to see these places. At least it's very nice meeting all the new people

Being the second largest administrative building in the world, the Palace of Parliament gives you an idea of how small we actually are :) On the other hand, it is a unique piece of architecture, even if it does not work well with the rest of Bucharest's design. Overall, worth visiting!

  • 5/5 Iulian P. 1 year ago on Google
Piața Constituției (Romanian for "Constitution Square") is one of the largest squares in the centre of Bucharest, Romania. The square is standing face-to-face with the Palace of the Parliament (biggest building in Europe) and it is bisected by Bulevardul Unirii (Union Boulevard) and by Bulevardul Libertății (Liberty Bvd.).[1] The square is one of the best places to organize concerts and parades of Bucharest. Every year, the mayor of Bucharest organizes the New Year's Party in this square.[2] The square is also used to host military parades in honor of the National Day of Romania.

Went to the Christmas Market that is held there, expecting to see at least something similar to last year's Christmas decorations to take pictures with. When it comes to food,as a vegan or vegetarian, the options are very limited if not non existing. Also prices are high. On the plus side, kids and adults can take pictures with the mascots and the couple on stilts and go to Santa's house so that's nice,I guess but for me it's not enough. The city hall could do so much better for the holidays and in general...
