The villa itself is gorgeous, the second half of the 19th century. Very valuable and varied artifacts, some dating back more than 1000 years BC!! The museum is modern, with holograms and interactive tablets on which you can find out more information about the exhibited objects. Also nice for children: they have drawers that can be opened to discover other interesting objects. It's not big either, so they'll get bored! One of the best museums in Bucharest and the museographer is very kind and communicative. Grade 10!

Radiologist George Severeanu was a passionate antiques collector who gathered valuable artifacts in the course of his lifetime. The lady that was selling the tickets gave us some amazing info's.

(Translated by Google) I have never seen in any museum or memorial house in Bucharest a more coherent collection, elegantly displayed, very well described as legends and with extraordinary furniture and architecture! Extraordinary objects are in many museums and memorial houses in Bucharest, but I don't think I've ever felt here: I came out feeling much richer.

An amazing building with an interesting history. It was amazingly well preserved and the collection displayed is quite unique. The prices of admission are cheap and while there are only 4 rooms to see, it is worth it just to admire the collection and some amazing pieces of furniture.

Excellent looking house with great finishing on the interior design and architecture. It used to be a mansion but they have turned it into a small museum which impresses with it's style and refinement. It's a great place to visit if you can spare a few hours. Awarding only 4 stars as it lacks interactivity and it's smallish

(Translated by Google) It's a special museum. It is at the intersection of the Henri Coanda streets with Nicolae Iorga, it is easy enough, somewhat behind the Astronomical Observatory. The building belonged to the family of Dr. George Severeanu. Many exhibits, beautifully presented, modern. Although there are museographers who are especially kind, ready to help you at any time, you can do it yourself, there are explanations in every place about how you can see the exhibits better, you can easily understand what each one represents. Due to the passion for history of Dr. Severeanu, you can get to know our history much better. It's worth visiting, it's a museum where you enjoy being entertained not only once. We appreciate the efforts made for our museums to be tall, along with the great museums of the world (of course, keeping the proportions!). Imobilul a apartinut familiei doctorului George Severeanu. Exponate multe, frumos prezentate, modern.

(Translated by Google) It was long on my "I WANT TO SEE" list. Today, on the day of the Little Union, I decided it was the right time. The building, which I had already seen on a guided tour of that area, I already knew how beautiful it is. I didn't expect it to be extraordinarily sumptuous inside either. I liked the furniture! I really liked the room with the mirrors embedded in the walls! I liked the ceilings! I liked the stained glass windows! The question is: what did you not like I LIKED EVERYTHING! GO VISIT IT! You will be back! Mi-a plăcut mobilierul ! TOTUL MI-A PLĂCUT ! MERGEȚI SĂ-L VIZITAȚI ! O să reveniți !

(Translated by Google) The Doctor Rebreanu Museum is a small and less known museum, but very interesting. It was based on the personal collection of Dr. Severeanu, a famous surgeon in the interwar period. The collection includes special archaeological exhibits and their presentation through biographical projections, brings the museum to the contemporary era. The museum itself is arranged right in the house of Doctor Severeanu, which is itself a monument of interwar architecture. The stained glass windows in particular stand out. Vitraliile in special ies in evidență.

(Translated by Google) A superb house, typical for Bucharest architecture, from the second half of the nineteenth century, very beautifully renovated. An impressive numismatic collection, including, among other things, Geto-Dacian, Celtic, Roman and Byzantine coins. The archeological objects exhibited are very beautiful and interesting, and the modern, digital-interactive way in which the exhibits (and details about them) are presented gives an attractive information perspective that makes you want to stay as long as possible in the museum find out as much information as possible, even if it may seem small, initially with its five rooms. An excellent idea is also the two prisms, in which are presented holographic images of exhibits. The joy of visiting this museum is enhanced by the curating lady, very kind, welcoming and an inexhaustible resource of information and stories about the history of the house, the Severeanu family and the exhibits. Congratulations to all those involved in the creation and operation of this museum! I will definitely come back!

(Translated by Google) An impressive building, breathtaking interiors. Being a museum that hosts a personal collection, I think it could also benefit from a guide that would make known to the public and the family's activity because, unfortunately, the passage of time has made the name Severeanu something for few.

Very beautiful little museum. It showcases a collection of artifacts (Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Dacian et. al), European numismatic and old documents. The recently restored house is a fine example of late XIX century architecture and the interior decorations and furnishings are spectacular. While there's a lot of lengthy text, there are also some modern showcases that bring the information to life. Definitely worth a visit!

The "Maria and Dr. George Severeanu" collection was donated to the Museum of Bucharest in 1939, and the inauguration of the residence as a museum took place in 1956.
