The only thing make this hotel 5 star it the rates they charge for everything rooms drinks . This no more then 4 star. The view from. Window was to old rusty roofs . The lobby and reception was empty most of time. No staff they sit usually inside or smoking at garden. The spa is simple with small pool where had build in water jet and bubbles and fountain the jet didn't work the fountain also only bubbles . The dry sauna was not really hot and the hamam is just wet sauna not same hamam in turkish bath also wasn't hot.. rain shower didnt work also First evening we come the lady switch off everything 19 o'clock even they say all open till 23 she see us and switch on again. Second evening there was no one i try call reception for 2 minutes but no one answered. Because we were wet already we only stay pool. the room big nice but only 2 tea bags . Only filtered water . They charged extra just for we open the existing sofa bed for our daughter . We been in 4 star hotel with much better services and facilities . For 240 euro night this place really really overpriced. also location. Far from old town 20 min walk at least. we used uber . But have nice park near and have parking. I put photos of room view and the bar and reception how the look all time. Never see hotel 4 or 5 that had to search for the staff or that the reception not answer for 2 minutes and not at all. Romania was wonderful but this hotel not so much .

Luxurious, the staff rates seven stars, massage staff professional and skilled. Excellent food and beverages. Great location, secure parking and public transportation just outside the door. Center of city to explore.

Friendly staff, well thought amenities, service impeccable. Could use a little more vegan options in the restaurant but Romania is traditionally very meat-oriented and they serve this tradition well.

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Bucharest, I have stayed many times in the capital and this hotel is a wonderful tranquil location. A beautiful terrace enters into a stunning reception and bar. The bar has a great selection of unique cocktails and lovely wines. We didn't eat dinner at L'Atelier, however, the menu looked splendid and will definitely try dinner next time. We had a beautiful suite with perfectly appointed bathrooms, lounge, desk and bedroom. In the evening before a recital we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine on the terrace. Will absolutely be back with my partner.

Excellent hotel. In the middle of the city but very quiet. Lovely rooms and a fantastic spa. The customer service was outstanding. Special thanks to Edward for recommending great restaurants, making us reservations, and helping make our stay an excellent one all around. Give that man a raise!

We were here for my Birthday. The food was ok. The service was ok at the restaurant until the moment we had to pay. We asked for the POS to pay by card and the waiter was blocked for a minute not letting us put the card in the POS not until he warned us that "the tip is not included in the invoice". 🙄 We knew that already, that's why we brought cash for the tips. But bluntly asking for tips, really? We were expecting a more well mannered and cordial attitude taking into consideration the whole concepts of this hotel and restaurant. Ps: yes, we ended up tipping but left a bit dissapointed by the waiter's attitude.

Nice cozy oasis. Great value when we were there. Rooms were between $110 And $150 ( off season). The restaurant experience was very good. Very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic staff. Had some unique dishes- great flavor experience. Ice cream with meat and fried shredded pumpkin with caviar and sour cream. Also very friendly and welcoming front desk and other staff members . Old world charm of always greeting you when they see you. Loved it.

Very nice hotel, rooms are super big, the restaurant in the hotel is amazing, the spa is nice although the pool is very small, I would change the pool to jacuzzi.

Beautiful hotel with professional staff! The location is good, quiet at night but just 15min walk to lively areas. Did not try the restaurant but looked amazing. A luxurious hotel with higher prices but you get what you pay for, i would recommend!

I stayed at the Epoque Hotel for eight days, at the end of January to February. The staff are very polite and attentive. I mentioned one of the flat screen displays had gone off and they sent someone up to fix it right away. I stayed in room 508 which seems to be as large as my apartment in Vancouver. The room was very quiet which I appreciated as I was trying to get some much needed rest. For me, the Epoque Hotel was a good place to relax. I had the sauna, the steam room, and the pool all to myself. I asked the concierge if he had an adapter for my phone and he produced one. I had sent an email ahead of my stay asking if they had any USB ports in the room as I wanted to recharge my smart watch. The reply was no but once I was in my room I found some USB ports on the flat screen displays. I had breakfast in the restaurant. I tried the Epoch breakfast and also the pancakes.

The executive suite was clean, large and great value for money when compared with other executive style rooms I've stayed in. The service was excellent, with friendly staff throughout the hotel. The only downside is the location, as its a little bit out of the way so you need a 10 min walk (or cab) to get to anything interesting.

My wife and I stayed four nights at the hotel and wished our stay could have been longer. Every aspect of our visit was perfect: The staff, our room, the food and the hotel's location. We would certainly be keen to return!

The luxury hotel is located in the heart of the city in a prime area, not in the center of the bars, but close enough that you can walk there. The rooms are extremely comfortable, luxurious, with a beautiful view over the city. The decor is beautiful, and the hotel had wonderful themed decor The hotel's l'atelier restaurant is divine (one of the most beautiful I've ever seen) and the food is delicious!!! It's so worth it The team is dit The team is diligent, helpful and very friendly on bicycles to explore the city 🥰

A solid stay. The room, an executive suite, was lovely and a really good place to spend 5 nights. We found the welcome we got from staff, including the offer to park our car and later help with de-icing it much appreciated. We had breakfast once and found it quite overpriced for the quality but generally a fine option. One evening we went for a cocktail in the bar, I asked for a Manhattan, which was on the menu, and the barman said he couldn’t make it. I asked which ingredients he was missing and he said no, it isn’t on his POS computer so he can’t put the sale through! When I looked confused he said he’d make it anyway but it then came with ice which a Manhattan shouldn’t be. Not a big deal but quite strange. Similarly we asked for more water for the room and were told we needed to come downstairs to fill up our bottle. Again not a big deal but not really a five star experience as advertised. The spa, steam and sauna are fantastic and well worth staying here for.

Very disappointed on our 2nd trip to this hotel. Check in was quick but our room smelled of stale smoke, they then moved us to another room which was incredibly smaller. Since were staying 1 night it mattered little but regardless it was disappointing.

The hotel is very nice with very big suites. Everything is so clean and the crew are great and very helpful. The breakfast was way overpriced(cup of small coffee cost 25lei (!!!) and the dishes were not so great. You can have a tastier breakfast with half of the price and better service and variety by 5 min walk. The location is not so bad but not great.10-15 min walk from the old town.

Lovely gem of a hidden hotel in the busy city of Bucharest. All rooms face over the pretty entrance and are spacious and luxurious as you'd expect of R&C. Food is exceptional, headed by the young chef Bogdan Alexandrescu and the A La Carte Michelin star worthy...

This place is probably one if the best places to stay when in Bucharest. The staff here is always at your disposal, trying to satisfy all your needs. The rooms are quite big, and my favorite thing is that they use brand cosmetics in the bathrooms. They have two parking spots and they also provide valet parking. The Spa area, even small as it is, is very cozy, reminding of the roman baths. And the restaurant rises up to the expectations, and even exceeded them. I highly recomand it, even if you are staying for one night. Probably the only thing I would actually preferred to have in this location, is a bigger outdoor space to enjoy your stay.

Very nice place and very attractive in a location that looks exceptionally. Rooms are very nice. The service was a little bit slow, but acceptable. There is an issue if you come by car si ce the parking spots are very limitated, but js understandable based on the location.

Excellent services: Staffs with positive energy and attitude (Eduard at the concierge, Boctan/Alazvan/Sorin/Stefan at F&B). L’atelier restaurant downstairs serviced exquisite cuisine. Lovely time in Romania thanks to Epoque Hotel team. Will definitely come back again!

One of my worst experience in Bucarest. Bad service, no respect for Covid safety guidance (mask not used...) and contrary to how it is adverstide as a "quiet place", we had a wedding party happening under our windows that created an unacceptable amount of disturbance... and we had to fight (and even threaten to leave and get our money back) before the hotel finaly found and alternative room when we were first told that they were none available, that they had no solution and it was 'too bad for us"... not an experience I would recommand and a shame for a hotel that suppose to be of this level/rating...

An outstanding hotel - from the facilities, the location (beautifully tucked away, but very central) and especially the service, which made us feel like royalty. Woudl definitely recommend!
