The guy at the front desk did not allow our American friend to go in because he didn’t have the European vaccination QR code (obviously), but only had an American vaccination card. When we wanted to leave because of this, he made us pay for the 15 minutes we waited inside, even though we didn’t play nor consumed anything. I would recommend avoiding this place.

The architecture of the place is beautiful. The prices are acceptable and the service is very good. You can even book a room to have more privacy if you want.

To play pool in the beautiful palace that London Club is set, is a one of a kind experience in Bucharest that I recommend to everyone. Although the palace is not renovated, it still shows the grandeur that it had back 120+ years ago. There are more than 6 pool tables so you may have luck in finding one available, so no reservation needed. The drinks menu has lots of beverages available and an impressive craft and Belgian type of beers at an ok price. As I said, the place is run down but it's full of old glam. Beware that it's possible that the pool tables aren't balanced, so don't place bets :). A con: they only accept cash so be prepared. I really hope this location will be renovated and all of its charm be sparkling again.

The interior is wow!! Such a classy place to play pool! The music is also really nice. It costs 40 lei/ hour The only thing i didn't like was the it's cash only. For sure i will come back

Impressive decor. Had a great time playing pool here. And there's this snooker table... Words can't describe it. :)

Had a blast but that had to do with the people I was with. You can only pay by cash, and the ceiling was filled with mold. The location however is awesome

The London Club in Bucharest is a delightful blend of classic architecture and vibrant energy, tailor-made for enthusiasts of pool and snooker. On each visit, I found myself drawn to its ambiance, sipping on a refreshing 0% beer and indulging in hours of snooker. While it may bear the name 'London', one can take solace in the fact that it doesn't share the city's premium prices 😉. The club's décor is a sight to behold, adding layers of charm to an already enticing experience. The billiards is truly the cherry on top! Just as mastering the angles on a snooker table demands precision and practice, in my 20 years as a personal trainer, I've guided individuals to hone their craft in various sports. Whether you're aiming for a perfect break or breaking personal records in any sport, my remote personal training and life coaching can be your guide. If you're ever in Bucharest, The London Club is a must-visit; and if you ever need tailored training, you know where to find it. 🎱🍻🏛💪🏼🌍

I love the patio. For a hot summer day, it's the right place to enjoy a cold drink. The services aren't that good, but acceptable.

Decent place to play pool. Haven’t found better in Bucharest. Little bit quiet if pool isn’t your main focus.

The first few times I went here the person overlooking the tables and making reservations was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The last few times I went, there was a new employee, who is very unfriendly. I like the Billard tables but I won’t come here again!

Great pool place with a pretty wide selection of beers, but sadly there's no card payment option. Only cash. Which is kind of inconvenient in 2021.

Just went for an evening drink and see a football match. The location is nice, great beer selection, the only downside would be that they don't have a restaurant. But if you know that in advance, you're fine

Friendly staff. The tables are in a decent conditions, and they bring new cues from time to time.

Amazing place. Very georgous. Cues sticks got few twists, but not so bad

It is so dirty that it simply smells. Like somebody didnt find a toilet and just did it in a corner. Walls and floors are just in ruin. Additionally they do not accept cards, only cash, and only upfront. You want to play pool or snooker, go to IDM, cheaper, better and it doesnt smell like toilet in train station 30 years ago

Overall, it's a nice place! I liked the aesthetics and the music, and the price was fair. Also the pool tables and the cues were great, seemed new. The place gives a very chill vibe. But.. it was a bit cold inside and they only accept cash. Still though, not a bad place for a round of pool.

The building and interior is antique, dated to the reality period. It poks very beautiful, great architecture and decorations inside!

  • 5/5 Sorin S. 1 year ago on Google
Always found the staff to be so sociable and the atmosphere pleasant. They have a variety of drinks to choose from, and bars at both levels of the building. A memory generating place to be. Of course the building itself has a beautiful architecture, which I suggest you glance your soul at :).

Nice club in center of town, full of pool tables, if you are passionate about having a beer while driving a ball into a whole here it is, music can be better though and maybe some repairs to the tables.

  • 4/5 Dominic B. 2 years ago on Google
Good central location, very interesting old school building with impressive interior design. Service is good. The pool tables, cues and balls are kind of old and need improvements
