I like this market, everything was fresh, for a good price. One negativity is, that where a vegetable/fruit has no price and they see you are a tourist they give the price much higher, Sellers cant speak english and some of them are rude to tourist. But as I said everything taste so good.

A place where you can find everything that you need. I like it very much for buying teas and condiemnts. The biggest market in Bucharest offers a lot of fresh vegetables, but also meat and dairy products from farmers.

I love going to markets. Unfortunately this one didn't match my expectations. The fruit and vegetables are the best part. The rest is clothing, home products and electronics you can find anywhere else.

Nestled in a large building in Bucharest, Obor Market is a bustling indoor market and a great place to buy fresh seafood and produce at reasonable prices. Venturing through the lively stalls, you’ll find an array of vendors selling fish like salmon, trout, tuna, and the popular local catch hamsii. The seafood is caught daily so you can trust it’s high-quality and fresh. Beyond seafood, the market has many farmers selling fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and other homemade goods. Even though it can get crowded, especially on weekends, the energy and variety make it an engaging experience. Be sure to bring cash and try your hand at gently haggling on prices. For an authentic Romanian shopping trip to stock up on local ingredients or sample flavors, Obor Market is a must-visit destination for tourists and locals alike.

fresh and cheap, if you want local vegetables and fruits, meats, cheese go three, don’t go to supermarket, be aware of price because some of sellers charge more without your notice

It is nice for getting to know a Bucharest different from the tourist center. And there is a huge choice of food to buy. There you will also find Romanian ceramic articles like painted mugs and dishes.

It's not the biggest or best market I've been to but ok to get a local feel of Bucharest shopping. I tried the traditional sausage and the girl was pretty rude as I don't speak Romanian. So it's ok for a look and if you want fruit and veg. There were many other things to buy but I didn't see anything I wanted.

Came here as wanted to get some bits and pieces after eating some mici and ended up buying lots more. The market is huge from the large outdoor area with lots to choose from and many fruit and veg stalls to the many many more fruit and veg stalls indoors. This is all real grown food by people who work really hard and is of the best quality you can buy. It's split into different regions so if your in the know you will know where does the best apples and who does the best tomatoes but you can't really go wrong. You can also get locally grown honey and nuts. Upstairs is where you go to grab your cheese. Meats and breads and again you have a selection from all over Romania and even a Turkish and Indian shop so can really get everything you need. Alot of markets have gone away in England which is a shame as you go for the experience but also the quality of real food So go check it out go support real people and go eat very tasty food.

Awesome market with tons of fresh produce at very good price. The sausage stall is a bit hit selling one pound sausages and good beer with a roll. The mall across the road makes Obor market easily a whole afternoon place if interest for tourists

Nice market! Loads there! Even caught some OctoObor Fest! Not a massive amount in the way for tourists but a nice experience and must be handy for locals 😊

Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, quite a lot of varieties. Prices a bit high, but still better than a neighbourhood supermarket. Is worth paying a visit for fresh food.

You can buy vegetables, fruits and all home stuff from here! It's very cheap than supermarkets but also they have quality products and not quality products. Some seller are so aggressive and they don't want to sell there products 😂 Please be careful with sellers. 😉

Best&cheapest market in Bucharest for seasonal vegetables, fish, meat & cheese, honey. Love the explosion of colors and smells there. My favorites - dry plums (the packed ones from supermarket don’t come anywhere close), and fresh apple juice.

Nice place to look around for 1h or so and easy to reach by underground, very busy atmosphere with many vendors selling agricultural products including Deli in first floor. Not a must see but very interesting.

A great outdoor market with a part of it indoors too, if you are ever here you should also check out Orient Bazaar for all the spices you will ever need. Prices are different from.vendkr to vendor so be sure to actually try their products before buying.

Come for Mici and more! Huge open air and closed market with distinct areas. Lots of local characters and very fair prices, much fresher and lower than the supermarkets. The meat and fish areas are surprisingly high quality. Fruit, veg and flowers are all seasonal. Dried goods from around the world but focus on area. Definitely great option for anyone that loves a good market.

Great variety, accessible prices and fresh products, even now in the winter time. You won't need a supermarket. You can find anything you want here, from meat, cheese, wine, veggies, fruits to spices, herbs and fish. The building in the back, which is the old market has other interesting things like universal products, cleaning products, pottery and many many more. It'll be worth your time.

Complex of shops, indoor & outdoor farmers and fruit/vegetable importers' markets, bazaar... The best known mici of București. Underground parking, metro station, tramway lines. Hypermarket and shopping mall nearby, with free parking.

  • 4/5 Florin J. 2 years ago on Google
The place is huge and you will find everything under the sun for your kitchen and more..fresh vegatables, fruits, fish, meat's, traditional foods and so on. Not to mention that you will find in close proximity two huge hipermarkets and a mall. But oufcourse you will find beggers and think i don't need to tell you to always keep an eye on your belongins in a crowded place.

  • 5/5 margaux d. 2 years ago on Google
Great place, great vibe. We loved visiting this market as a tourist, you really have to try the mici in the bar just outside the main building. Inside the building you have to go upstairs because there is a wine shop where you can have a big glass of wine for only 3lei. Loved it!!!

A vast market with indoor and outdoor sellers of beautiful, fresh and organic Romanian products. The most interesting part is the fruits and vegetables. It's still worth visiting the meat and fish pavilions to get a glimpse of what products Romanian people buy.

  • 5/5 Cristina S. 2 years ago on Google
Best and largest farmer's market in town. Best place to buy fruits and vegetables. At first floor there are many stores where you can buy all kinds of meat, traditional cheese, fresh eggs, pastry, olives.
