Sadly when reaching there it was full packed, recommend anyone who wishes to visit the place should visit it in the off season. Highly recommend not to visit over the weekend and during public holidays . This is a clam and quite, beautiful place when there are no people! This is not just a waterfall, it’s a amazing place with the clam sound for meditation.

Definitely worth checking out! But make sure to go early before the crowd builds up especially on a long weekend and especially if you wanna get some great pics. We did see a tent as well so I'm guessing you can camp out there as well but not entirely sure. To get to the waterfall there are a series of steps at the start and then some walking and then abit of a climb. There is a ticket counter as well so take change cash with you If you wanna get to the top most point, you can either cross over on the rocks and through the water and up the slippery rocks (doable) or walk through the jungle from the bridge area. We walked straight up to the waterfall and hopped over rocks and through the water over to the top where the camp was set up but going back we took the other route where it leads you to the bridge. It is wet and slippery but so worth it. And go prepared to get drenched especially if you're planning to climb to the top most point and up close to the waterfall. We didn't find any leaches up there so that's a win. Overall, the climb and the whole experience was epic.

Absolutely fantastic view. The hike was a little bit tough at the start, but the end is very rewarding. There is parking for anyone coming in their vehicle. The ticket costs 30/- for Sri Lankans at the time of this review. There are a bunch of boutiques that sell various cold and warm beverages as well as some food. The actual hike takes about an hour or so and u are greeted with a beautiful scene right at the end. All in all, I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have an adventure in nuwara eliya.

Must visit place if you are traveling in the area.Beautiful environment. There is a bit of a hike to the waterfall. But its worth to take the hike to the waterfall. Loved every single minute I was there. Place can get dangerous in rain. Check the weather before you go there.

Great place. But avoid weekends and holidays because of the crowd. You have to park your vehicle in a distance by the narrow road. There is a steep climb with some walk to the fall. When you get there all hard feelings may disappeare due to her beauty. You will covered with mist. Also it is nice photo location.

One of the most beautiful waterfall in sri lanka not difficult to climb however there are a lot of leeches there and upper part is slippery.. You will have to buy a ticket to go there and there are some shops on the way that you can grab a bite if you want...

The beautiful Bomburu Ella Falls (also known as Perawella Falls) s a collection of about 10 little-known jungle waterfalls, situated between 1500 and 2000m above sea level in the Sita Eliya Kandapola Forest Reserve. They are served by the upper segment of the principal tributary of the Uma River, known as the Duulgala River. The fall is in both the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts, Uva Paranagama Divisional Secretariat, in the Pewella GS area. From the Welimada – Pusselawa road, turn off at Ambagasdova junction and follow the Pewella bus route. The route then ascends and becomes a slightly perilous-looking winding track, with difficult boulders and jungle to negotiate, before the fall is reached.

Daring course to the water fall. The course is about 1.5km from the passage. The course is covered with lovely nature. When you completed the course you will wind up in a lovely put under the cascade. You can go to the highest point of the cascade too. When you get in there you can see the entire town see.

Breathtaking and stunning view after a slightly difficult trek. I personally do not recommend being in infants or elderly to this trek coz although it seems like the waterfall is right there after the cement stairs, it’s not! It’s at least a 2km. Definitely a place that everyone must pay a visit.

Very beautiful water fall located in Up country sri lanka.. access roads are carpeted and well developed. You have to walk nearly 1.5km. Walking path starting with staircase with nearly 1000 stairs. It is rough slope. Then it is easy path leading to water fall.. there are few shops with local foods and drinks. It may vairy with time. Firstly you will meet down fall which shorter than main water fall . You can have a cool bath here. For main water fall you have to pass this mini fall and climb few steps and pass aome stones. Nearly 500 m from small fall. Then you can see very high beautiful Boburuekla water fall. Amazing environment with beautiful surroundings. You must visit this one day.. Forgot to tell.. parking facilities available here for 150/ rupee flat rate, and you have to buy a ticket.

Best falls in that area, amaing landscapes up there. Bring your swimming shorts. I jumped down into the pool but be careful - thenwater in the pool is only about 2,5m deep but there is sandy ground mostly. Walking up the way is possible for everybody. Highly recommended.

Pretty steep hike so be prepared since it's not a very explored destination by tourists... you will find a lot of locals going up to enjoy the weekend... Narrow stretches but good views

Adventurous route to the water fall. The route is about 1.5km from the entrance. The route is covered with beautiful nature. Once you finished the route you will end up in a beautiful place under the waterfall. You can go to the top of the waterfall also. Once you get in there you can see the whole village view.

Absoulutely fantastic journey and a place. Along the way can find several "Roti" and ginger plain tea spots. Have to walk around 2km through the jungle and you will be welcomed by leeches but they can be managed.. Along with the waterfall is the lush green plain where u can pretty much stay forever and ever. Loved it. ❤

This is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka and it's a beautiful place that you shouldn't miss. We were a group of friends who were traveling from Haputale to Nuwara Eliya and decided to visit this waterfall as it was on our way. You need to buy a ticket which is Rs. 30 per person and there is about a 2km hike from the entrance through beautiful nature and mini waterfalls to get to the top. Once you're there, you wouldn't regret it. It can get crowded, but please do not litter this place. Always carry your waste with you.

🫤 Very difficult to reach there even in a vehicle and you have to climb up. Not possible with children and family. But you can't return after going there spending lot of time..so think before going. Ok for bachelors
