I had a great time visiting Taxila Museum! This museum is a captivating place filled with ancient artifacts and historical treasures. Went with family today. Very good experience lovely place to relive the past. And especially for younger generation. They can come out of their digital world and see how ancient civilisations lived. And be great Full of modern worlds facilities. Nice tidy place. Cheap tickets. Beautiful gardens. Can do with water in fountain, would make world of difference.

The place was good but at the time when I visited there was no electricity and it made my experience a little bad. The overall place was clean and there is a lot of history of stupa and ancient civilization of taxila. I have attached many photos of the inside of the museum I hope you will find it helpful. Whenever you visit the place make sure to bring some snacks that you can later eat in the beautiful gardens of the museum premises.

Taxila museum is an interesting g site to visit especially who love to feel the history and the historic places. This Gamdhara civilisation is 2600 years old amd one the best site to visit. Along with the museum there are many ruins and estopas around to see how that civilisation was 2600 years ago.

Its a nice place for history lovers. The guide available there is well known about the history and his briefing was awesome. Recommended to visit other historical sites nearby this museum also, whenever plan to visit here.

Taxila museum is extremely interesting to visit. If you are interested in Buddhist art and in particular Gandhara Greek-Buddhist art, then that's the place to explore. The building is also nice and pleasant with gardens around. If you have time, visit also the neighbouring sites and stupas around. And all that just 30 km away from Islamabad.
