I am delighted to be called upon as a reference for Dr.Oshima. ;) Dr.Oshima is the best dermatologist I’ve ever known in Japan. The clinic is busy, you may have to wait long (depends) but it’s worth waiting. I’ve had atheroma operation three times in 2 years. He is known as an expert on atheroma cases. He is too busy but always doing his best to meet our expectations I believe. Hopefully, larger space would be better. PS; He looks younger than his age. ;)

I went on 8/7 and was assigned to a young male doctor, but he seems not caring about me at all. I am suffered from 酒さ and ニキビタニ issue, my skin becomes red and pores are big. I was using a cream, but it takes time to cure and the symptoms come back and forth. I was hoping the doctor can give me advice and suggest another better treatment. Sadly, he said I need to do laser to cure the redness and pores problem... But shouldn't the ニキビタニ treated first??? I showed him another medicine cream introduced on their website, then he said, "oh, so it is what you want. I will issue the prescription." He didn't explain the medicine to me. I really feel he wanted to send me off as soon as possible. Maybe because my Japanese is not good. But I have looked up the words I need in advance, I have tried my best and still not be cared about. I am very frustrated both by my skin problems and the doctor 's behaviour.

It's crowded but very efficient, and staff spoke some English. Highly recommended.

The staff try their best to speak English and aren't half bad! I came in with an unexplainable rash and the doctor listened patiently and was able to give me the correct diagnosis after going through options with me. These people are very kind and listen.

I made big expectations about this clinic, at the end I was disappointed. I have a problem of itching, dandruff and hair loss, the doctor just checked me with gloves but barely she touched my head, the doctor prescribed me only lotion and pills for inflammation, I asked her for a shampoo for my dandruff and she seems not confident about the kind of shampoo to prescribe, she gave me a sample of a shampoo that she had next to her and that's all. I thought she would analyze my kind of skin to prescribe a shampoo according to my skin, figure out the hair loss and the kind of dandruff I have but she didn't, also I expected a deeply checkup of my skin for example with a capillary diagnostic camera.

I went to Oshima clinic this past Saturday for laser treatment. As I made an appointment, the overall process took about 1.5 hours. Although the clinic is always extremely crowded, I will definitely go back there for more laser treatments in the future. The fact that they have the latest pico laser is a definite plus!!

Long wait to get my name called, not a very well-explained system for me. It was also kind of expensive, but the doctor I saw could speak English and got me on the road to fixing my issue.

Do not recommend to any foreigners unless you’re fluent Japanese speaker. I had to wait for an hour half for my payment but never called my name so I had to ask for it. Also, they don’t limit the number of the people in waiting room so place is basically “packed” 24/7, they don’t even care about keeping social distance in this pandemic world. Arrived 14:45 and left the clinic 17:30. Again place is packed and not enough chairs for everyone so I was standing in the hallway uncomfortably whole time, shoulder to shoulder with other patients. Waisted whole afternoon. However, they truly understood the power of internet, know how to generate 5 stars and bait people like me. Most stressful experience I’ve ever had with medical facilities anywhere in the world. I’ll never coming back again.

The service is quick despite the long lines. Treatment is working. The staff were so kind to give me the very detailed explanation and answered my questions patiently even though I’m not fluent in Japanese. Thank you so much.

😠 I made a reservation online because I was in excruciating pain, and despite arriving 5 to 10 minutes before my appointed time, I had to wait for almost 45 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting with no one coming, I had to go looking for a nurse. Despite that, the doctor didn't come until 10 minutes...
