"Here
to
help"
I'm
a
disabled
man
in
a
wheelchair
and
although
you
say
that
you
offer
"assisted
shopping"
I
was
told
that
there
"was
no-one
available"
to
help
me
go
around
to
pick
up
a
few
bits
of
shopping!??.
Which
I
find
very
unusual
for
a
store
that
size
and
with
probably
hundreds
of
staff
!??.
Anyway
eventually
I
was
directed
to
your
trolleys
that
affix
to
my
wheelchair
which
as
I've
never
shopped
in
ASDA
since
being
in
a
wheelchair
I
was
unaware
of
.
Then
when
I
approached
the
manned
checkout
the
lady
on
the
till
firstly
offered
me
no
assistance
in
putting
my
items
onto
the
checkout
,
so
a
very
kind
customer
helped
me
.
Then
as
I
then
paid
for
my
items
I
was
again
offered
no
assistance
in
packing
the
items
into
my
shopping
bag
!??.
Again
the
very
kind
customer
did
this
for
me
as
the
checkout
lady
sat
there
all
"poker
faced"
.
I
found
the
whole
experience
very
uncomfortable
and
doubt
I
will
be
returning.
The
staff
in
both
Aldi
and
Lidl
can't
do
enough
for
me
whenever
I
shop
there
!
.
So
your
shirts
saying
"here
to
help"
are
quite
planely
false
advertising.
It
was
on
16/01/23
and
it
was
a
young
girl
who
firstly
was
speaking
to
the
guys
on
the
customer
services
desk
on
the
phone
but
I
said
I
wanted
to
speak
to
her
myself.
She
was
a
young
slim
girl
with
dark
hair
,
I
believe.
The
lady
on
the
checkout
was
a
middle
aged
girl
,
and
it
was
early
afternoon
time.
Many
thanks,
David
