I planned to cook a very authentic Italian dinner for my girlfriend and really wanted Gino dicampos new white wine, I looked online and it said Asda sold and stocked it. I drove to Asda to find you didn't sell it. Waste of time and I got my hopes up for this particular wine, I wish I just ordered it from somewhere else now instead of being let down and relying on false information from Asda.

Great Asda, is a little bit smaller than Bradford Rooley Lane Asda or Keighley Asda, but has everything you need. Nice Asda it’s not hard to find stuff.

I use this store locally but I am very concerned about the large amount of people not wearing masks, 1 I followed around the store buying nothing, as if he was testing vigilance, no member of staff challenged him. What happened to the no mask-no entry policy. Can we police the law more effectively.

Great shop. What you expect from an asda. Some good staff, some with pure power trips and no customer service skills.

Very competetive with other stores some things are cheaper then some are more expensive. Great variety of fruit and veg.

Member of staff on the tills needs to learn some customer service skills. Accused me of doing something dodgy with my asda rewards card and vouchers infront of numerous customers making me feel like a criminal! I was stood in my work uniform which is a very recognisable uniform for a store just around the corner luckily I don't work in Shipley. I will be putting in a formal complaint tonight having spoken with the store manager and never shopping in this store again

During my visit to the ASDA Shipley store, I had an unpleasant encounter with a female Asian manager who was exceedingly discourteous. When I approached her with a query about a product, she initially ignored me and then flatly refused to engage with me when I repeated my request. Despite my efforts, the other Asian staff members were unwilling to disclose her name, which I find disappointing. This experience was a first for me, and I hope that ASDA will reconsider their hiring practices in light of this incident. If anyone knows the manager's name, please inform me.

Doesn't look very good for bicycle parking. Near the benches where undesirables sit looking very suspicious.

Poor service at this ASDA. They advertise their Β£6 Pizza deal and create your own Pizza's yet never have staff to serve! Waited at the counter with the ingredients out for 10 minutes. Other ASDA staff walked past and saw I was waiting but didn't care obviously. I often go to the ASDA in Morley and their Pizza section is always manned and the staff are far more professional.

The kiosk/customer service desk are now joined as 'one' on the left as you enter the store. These were busy places in their previous locations within the store, but now they are located right where people enter/exit the store!?!?πŸ˜‘ absolute carnage!!! especially during busy periods with so many shoppers with trolleys/baskets trying to pass by each other in such a relatively small space. I also noticed in recent weeks they have moved the location of many products to different aisles...very annoying having to find where they have been relocated looking down numerous aisles. Baskets have also seemed to have gone AWOL from their usual location in the main entrance. Some things are best left alone Asda

Like most Supermarkets at this time, supply issues continue to show empty shelves. Currently I've found no show stock of some breakfast cereal, reduced stocks of biscuits, despite this ASDA remains one of our favourite supermarkets

It's smaller than the cemetery road store in bd7, but it has everything you need. Staff are friendly and professional. Easy to find what you need, as each isle has a lable above it

We have been and many times they are no self scan hand sets. Absolutely ridiculous, they are all left in baskets at self scan checkout, when I ask the security to radio through for some he wouldn’t, I had to walk down and ask for some, then was told … you can use your phone you know, I will not use my phone as it’s too much messing on the app. Come on Asda sort it out, it’s so frustrating to say it’s supposed to be a quicker way to shop.

Fantastic service this morning from Asda Shipley, especially Ben the security guard and Arthur the Manager. Both of them couldn't have been more helpful! Helping me to choose a barbecue. Ben and another staff member even put it in my car for me. 5 star service Asda Shipley. Well done! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Fresh produce that is NOT fresh. When asked about a product that ASDA DO sell (But NOT it appears at the Shipley store) the manager says ASDA don't sell the product any more. Check the web site and Lo and Behold there it is. Last weekend there was NO Ale on the shelves, just gaps. The list goes on and this has been the case for quite a long time now. I cannot remember the last time I managed to get everything that was on my shopping list. Extremely Poor

This was a massive store to go for some nice shopping in, where the bakery products are presented very clearly in the section! The staff were friendly and helped me use the correct self-service checkout when I tried one that wouldn't work for one item, having a pleasant experience in this clean shop. My bakery treat tasted absolutely fresh, like you'd expect when made on site.

We have shopped at Asda for years but increasingly have found queues at the checkouts becoming more and more problematic. My husband was told that he was blocking an aisle. He said he was sorry but they needed more staff on the checkouts. She said she had already put more staff on the checkouts and β€˜Don’t you understand English?’ She was probably stressed BUT making racist comments to non English customers is not helpful! Management, maybe there is a training issue here …… but you definitely need more staff on the checkout! You’ve now lost a good customer.

Good store, can usually get what I’m looking for. Biggest annoyance is the number of self service checkouts. A lot of people don’t like them, they put people out of work and they’re not actually convenient. They cause longer queues at the manned checkouts.

"Here to help" I'm a disabled man in a wheelchair and although you say that you offer "assisted shopping" I was told that there "was no-one available" to help me go around to pick up a few bits of shopping!??. Which I find very unusual for a store that size and with probably hundreds of staff !??. Anyway eventually I was directed to your trolleys that affix to my wheelchair which as I've never shopped in ASDA since being in a wheelchair I was unaware of . Then when I approached the manned checkout the lady on the till firstly offered me no assistance in putting my items onto the checkout , so a very kind customer helped me . Then as I then paid for my items I was again offered no assistance in packing the items into my shopping bag !??. Again the very kind customer did this for me as the checkout lady sat there all "poker faced" . I found the whole experience very uncomfortable and doubt I will be returning. The staff in both Aldi and Lidl can't do enough for me whenever I shop there ! . So your shirts saying "here to help" are quite planely false advertising. It was on 16/01/23 and it was a young girl who firstly was speaking to the guys on the customer services desk on the phone but I said I wanted to speak to her myself. She was a young slim girl with dark hair , I believe. The lady on the checkout was a middle aged girl , and it was early afternoon time. Many thanks, David K.

Really well stocked on Christmas Eve; got everything I went for. But, the store entrance really needs sorting out. It's too small, crowded and chaotic for the usual footfall, let alone busy Christmas traffic. Yesterday, customers were smoking, unchallenged, in the foyer waiting for their taxis. And why Asda allow colleagues to skulk on the pavement to smoke on their break is beyond me. Looks dreadful. Can't you provide a space on your own property, away from the passing public?

The store is busy at multiple times of the day, the staff were helpful in helping me locate a product as its not my local asda. It is tla tidy store

Great store with plenty of choice and helpful staff. Only negative was the older lady on customer service (think she was called Jane) wouldn't allow an exchange for a smaller size without receipt despite items still being tagged. I explained i had done returns and exchanges before with the receipt and she basically called me a lair as they have never allowed it before. Which was total BS!

Not a very pleasant experience when collecting a pre-ordered item from the collection desk, I was met with an abrupt off-hand unhelpful attitude, which wasn't really called for, .... some staff members need a refresher course in customer service !

😐 Prices were good and not too busy but there was hardly any staff on. It took longer at the checkout than it did for me to shop. When I asked why don't they put more staff on I was told they were short staffed. This is bad management.
