hidden, hidden, hidden gem. delicious indonesia food that is so yummy and enjoyable. the ayam goreng were so juicy and fragrant and the chilli sauce wonderful. satay uses fresh chicken meat combined w a touch of peanuts and sweet sauce w a appetising salad. the beef rendang melts away in your mouth. highlight for me is the petai prawns. mind blowing out of the world rich coconut sambal-ish prawns that is cooked to perfections. kang kong wise i felt the way its cook is different from what we are used in singapore but certainly worth a try setting is in a classy home like vibe w classy furniture. the service was superb and the manager hosted us so well and pampered. it’s relatively new and try it while it still not widely known yet. great for hosting guest from overseas if your friends love indonesia food. last but not least the staple corn fritter is to die for.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Embassy 1967 Singapore, a restaurant that serves authentic Indonesian cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant is located in a historic building that used to be the Indonesian embassy, hence the name. The food was delicious and satisfying. I ordered the beef rendang, a tender and flavorful dish of braised beef in coconut milk and spices, served with rice and pickles. The beef was so soft that it melted in my mouth, and the sauce was rich and aromatic. The portion was generous and filling. I also tried the gado gado, a salad of mixed vegetables, tofu, tempeh, and boiled eggs, tossed in a peanut sauce. The salad was fresh and crunchy, and the peanut sauce was creamy and nutty. The gado gado was a nice contrast to the heavy rendang, and it added some color and texture to the meal. The service was excellent and attentive. The staff, Rin Rin, Deasy, and Navin, were friendly and helpful. They greeted me warmly, explained the menu, and checked on me regularly. They also gave me some recommendations on what to order and how to eat the dishes. They made me feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend Embassy 1967 Singapore to anyone who loves Indonesian food or wants to try something new and different. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from traditional classics to fusion creations, that will suit any taste and preference. The food is well-prepared, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is cozy and elegant. Embassy 1967 Singapore is a gem that you don't want to miss.

A Culinary Soiree at Embassy 1987: Where Exquisite Indonesian Flavors Meet Orchard Road Elegance The Orchard Road, Singapore's bustling artery of commerce, throbbed with the city's vibrant energy. Inside the sleek, art deco haven of Embassy 1987, my sister and I, accompanied by her husband, found ourselves whisked away to a different era – one of refined elegance and impeccable culinary artistry. Embassy 1987's ambiance is a masterclass in sophistication. Desi and Ririn, two beacons of hospitality, greeted us with a warmth greeting and service. Our culinary journey at Embassy 1987 commenced with a vibrant Asinan Jakarta, a refreshing symphony of Jakarta-picked fruits that cleansed the palate and prepped it for the upcoming sensory adventure. This seemingly simple salad, with its sweet-tart interplay and textural contrast, was a testament to the chef's dedication to fresh, seasonal ingredients and meticulous execution. The main course arrived in a flourish, a veritable tapestry of flavors and aromas. A glistening seafood platter presented plump prawns, tender red snapper, and squids. Alongside it, a satay platter sizzled with skewered delights – chicken, prawn, and beef, each marinated to tender perfection and glazed with an aromatic charcoal char. The seafood, fresh from the ocean, sang of the sea's bounty, while the satays, infused with the smoky caress of charcoal, hummed a melody of the grill. And to quench our thirst, we embarked on a personalized beverage adventure. Pak Kush, navigated us through a world of options, tailoring each drink to our individual preferences. Let him surprise you!

Excellent Indonesian restaurant with a luxurious touch. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We requested two dishes that were not on the menu but they happily prepared them. Smallish menu but enough veggie options for me. Only criticism is the lighting, it's too bright. Will definitely visit again.

We had lunch and dinner here. A good place to have Indonesian food with great ambience. There are food varieties too such as Soto betawi, bakwan jagung, satay platter, etc. And lastly don’t forget to try Indonesian wine to pair up with your food.
