It's not me, Charlie, it's you! Charlie, Charlie, Charlie... I don't know what made you think this was the beginning of a relationship. Our first (and only) date started on the right foot: a pretty table by the river, my friend was already waiting for me with a beer in hand. But somehow it got downhill from there. You started by refusing me tap water and tried to charge me for a plastic bottle instead. I told you I cared about climate change, come on, and you should know better! Then you told me your $16-salads were designed for someone the size of a half-human. So I went for your seabass instead. The unseasoned vegetables had an unatural color and no taste, the mashed potato (singular intended) had the same taste as the half flavourless cauliflower sprout and the fish was as bland as the rest. The whole thing left me almost as hungry as before I had lunch, which left me with a feeling of emptiness that no one like to experience. You still charged me for service, even though the waiter were taking as much space as your veggies in my plate. So no, we won't have a second date. This was a total disaster and I'm surprised you didn't notice. Because it wasn't me, it was you. I was in the mood for more but you just couldn't match my desires. So I'm not calling you back. Ever. Goodbye Charlie. And good luck. I really hope you find someone with no taste and a craving for a river view, who will like you for what you have to offer. An otter maybe?

Good for a quick and tasty meal by the river. I had the veggie fajitas which were fairly generous and all fresh.

The waiters are very friendly and helpful. The river view is superb at night. Although the steak choices are not that much, the pizza, sides, and draught beer didn't disappoint me.

Went their after work to grab a drink. Their sangria is not that good but I like their mojito. Food wise we ordered truffle fries and calamari, portion is good enough for 3 pax. The ambiance is good!

Nice view and ambiance. A nice place to watch football or some matches and have a drink, specially at night, wonderful view of the river. Service was good. Food was good. The quesadilla was very tasty. Crowded on the weekend and public holidays, especially on NYE because you would be able to see the fireworks by the river. Rcm to reserve in advanced.

It's a sports bar on the Quay. You can't really expect much. The edamame were oily, which is weird. The shrimp were low quality and the sangria was below average...had a fizzy texture instead of a dry red wine base.

Their happy hour deals were worthwhile and the food was surprisingly not too bad. Garlic prawns were very good, salad was tasty and fresh, and the Charlie's Burger was delicious though a tad salty.

Boat Qauy Area has many types of restaurants and bars. Here, they open from lunch and it's comfortable to crab beer with snacks front of river, view of Marina area. Stylish shop design but food and service, everything is quite normal. There are many this kind of shop in Singapore. Good for a beer break, meeting with friend. I don't recommend main dinner place or something.

The food is alright, though over priced. Very. Massively. Overpriced. We had 3 wings and 3 drumlets when ordering buffalo wings. The nachos are good tho, have to be fair. I had a whiskey, yamazaki reserve. A glass was $26, and i got like 1cm of liquid in a standard whiskey glass. If i wanted to be ripped off like that i would have gone shopping for snake oil. The rest is par for the course for a restaurant/bar in the area. $15 a pint beer, $5 a bottle of water, $6 mushroom soups that could possibly be enough for a mouse. Drinks are not worth it. Dont go there to drink.

Came for late lunch and watch the rugby world cup. Place was full 1 hour before the match and even when it was full service was great. Had the Charlie burger and it was pretty good. Prices are about what you pay for the area. Overall not a bad place to come and watch a game.

food was decent, but there's better spanish food elsewhere - mini octopus was good but a bit too salty 3 stars cos it felt pretty overpriced for the quality river view was nice! the staff serving the outdoor tables today (sry didn't get her name) was really sweet and went above and beyond! awesome service, pls give her a raise

Great views by the river at boat quay. Pretty generous food portions. The salmon is best, followed by the quesidilla, ribs and paella. Dessert chocolate lava cake is pretty good.

Great deal at lunch time. 3 pieces of juicy lamb chops with mashed potatoes and salad for $13 ish, can’t get any better in central. Not to mention, great view, warm services and sports was on! Some guests complained about the plain boiled veggie, that actually remind me typical English pub food, simplicity. At least it’s not salty, and you can season yourself. No complain from me. Will return.

They do a nice mojito. Only tried fish stick snacks which were ok. Expensive but you pay for the location and that was nice.

We both had burgers here and they were delicious. Fries were really good, not greasy and a nice side salad too. Prices were reasonable and the location on the quay was a fabulous place to enjoy the lights and activities of the evening.

Very warm and welcoming service. Just drop by for a drinks and order some side dish for munchies. I ordered dessert which's Belgium cocholate waffle with a scoop of ice cream and whip cream on top and a chocolate syrup and berries. I'm overwhelmed by the taste! It's really good! Not to mention the mushroom soup and garlic bread is fresh and delicious too 🤤🤤

walk with friends at changi boardwalk after early dinner & coast settlement on 29.12.2021 came by Charlie’s at changi village food centre for beer and 4 of us shared the popular $17 fish & chips ..2 of us had the lychee freeze..good thing not too sweet..so so for me.. fish & chips was ok..good serving with 2 breaded fish fillet & lots of chip cannot complain la but really nothing so great..for myself rather have the $35 garoupa fish & chips at coastal settlement even though it’s just one fillet ..but lots more satisfaction 😎

1 of the few places that was open before 5pm... saw that they have takeaway sets at $9 nett with free soft drink, so ordered 2 sets. Really like the chicken & pork adobo, although the pork looked dry, it wasn't & was flavorful. Restaurant standard food at coffeshop prices. 👍👍 Ala carte items are at 30% off.
