This hostel is well placed near Little India and the metro and really reasonably priced. The staff are really friendly and helpful, so you’d think this was a great spot to stay. However, it seems to be less a hostel and more a permanent housing place for men who rent beds for months at a time. When we got there, they’d overbooked the double beds in the smaller rooms, and we each had to take a single bunk in a room of men who were quite clearly living there. I felt uneasy, unsafe and wasn’t sure what to make of this. Then there’s the bathrooms. They are filthy. Urine all over the floor (and no where near the toilet bowl either). I had to throw some socks away because it was so gross. For a slightly higher price you could stay somewhere much cleaner and from the looks of it, ours wasn’t an isolated experience.

A good hostel. The staff is very helpful. The location is very central around the metro, 7/11, markets, and restaurants/cafes. The hostel is really clean. During our stay, the hostel and common areas were always clean. The hostel and its surroundings are safe. We are touring cyclists, and our bicycles were left in front of the hostel on the street during our stay. Recommend to travelers looking for hostels in Singapore.

I stayed here for 2 weeks. I was upgraded to a bigger bed. The bed was comfortable and the area was spacious. It does say free breakfast but you do need to ask for it to get any. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately one of the tenants I was staying with were moody and intitled. All in all I enjoyed my time here and will come back next time I'm in town.

A great hostel! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and I loved how the beds are layed out so you have more privacy, also with plug sockets near each bed. The location is good only a 5 minute walk from the metro. The breakfast is okay... what you would expect from a hostel. The only thing I wasn't keen on was that there were only unisex bathrooms on my level.

They cancelled 3 days in advance due to overbooking!!!!! We booked the room months ago! Would not recommend booking there as other people seem to have had similar problems….

The hostel overbooked for the weekend of the F1 Grand Prix and cancelled on us a week before, therefore there are no other accommodation options available in the city. We had booked this accommodation months in advance in preparation for this weekend. We are very disappointed in this hostel in their admin error. When I emailed to inquire about the cancellation they said “we are fully booked”. Now we will not be able to see Singapore.

Common area and bathroom was very clean and big. Good location. But the room space is very small for 8 people and only two showers and two toilets for first floor. The sound insulation of the room is very bad, I can hear voices from outside. Also there has bed bugs on our bed, my brother got bitten from bed bugs very terrible. Feel itchy all the nights. I reported to the reception they were very nice and try to solve the problem but unfortunately I need to give the one star because of the bed bugs 😔

Super sweet owner that does his best to accommodate you. I was a little on the nervous side sharing a hostel space during a spike in cases. Some of the tenants coughed and harked all over the place without a mask. Not sure what that was all about. The sleeping arrangements are in a pod-style format with 4 people per room. Hostel is in a very suitable location and for the price, it's a good value. Don't expect a luxury hotel experience but they do their best to keep the place clean..

Pros: This hostel is well located near many restaurants and Little India. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the four double bed shared room. The beds were comfy and spacious, and you still have a feeling of privacy even though you're sharing the room with other couples. The room is also kept cool with air conditioning. The kitchen space is shared but not equipped for cooking. It does have microwave, refrigerator, kettle, and toaster. Cons: The bathrooms and showers tended to get dirty and smelly very easily even though they were cleaned frequently. Many guests were hacking and spitting into all drains despite the signs saying no spitting, it was really grotesque.

I booked this hostel for 10 days. The location is ideal for access to bus and MRT. The staff was attentive and approachable. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Must book this hostel for your amazing stay in Singapore.

(+) One of the cheapest stays you can find in Singapore. Very secured. The owner was nice, friendly and helpful. Good location. Within walking distance to a few MRT and bus stations, 711, hawker centres and cafe shops. (-) They tried to cramp too many people into such a small place. There was not enough space to put luggages and move around the room. Faulty design. If the people in the adjacent cubicle turned their light on, our cubicle was also shone bright. The common area was small and quite awkward to actually lounge around.

Decent place for a couple of night in Singapore. Free breakfast (nothing special but at least it's free). Well located (2 train stations walking distance+ bus stop at the end of the street). Friendly staff and nice bathrooms. They are also happy to keep your luggage after your check out if your flight or bus is later in the afternoon/evening.

We stayed here with family for a one week vacation. I can recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an affordable place with good customer service. We'll definitely go back in this place! Thank you!

We had a very nice stay here. Everything was clean, and if not, it was taken care of quickly. The staff was very nice. The night of our check-out we overslept for 2h because I was a bit sick, but it was no problem at all.

Amazing accomodation that you all should try, a sincere smile by the owner, best place to stay for a backpackers,many foodcourt and supermarket nearby, nice and delicious breakfast provided.. Best and value for your money..

I miss this place the staff are very accommodating and friendly. I was supposed to come back this year and stay here again hopefully next year I can go back to SG.

Very good location, public transport stations are close and very reliable. The hostel was not comfortable.

Staff Attitude...The reception staff is good but got one old guy/staff ...which need to be teaching how to respect customers...even he wants to make any joke...he must know customer service rules..

Great location, 5min walking from Lavender MRT. There are great food courts around and it's just around the corner from Little India and Kampoeng Glam. I stayed in the CAPSULE room. The bed is comfortable, you have all you need inside te capsule, good ventilation, and priceless privacy. They are not sound proof but still way better than the traditional bunk beds :)

Our company placed our staffs here since June till now. So far our staffs are satisfied with cleanliness and the location and amenities was quite convenient. The boss and staffs here are quite friendly. Definitely a affordable hostel. They provide simple breakfast included in the price

Location is around 10 minutes walking distance to nearest MRT station. Room is clean as well as toilet. Good for short stay. Take note that there is no wall plug but USB port inside the capsule.

Place is awesome, I like the structure of the hostel, snacks is important to me myself and only I and it's awesomely 24 hours to be purchased at the reception. Please don't steal them or else they won't have money to restock for my stomach. Transportation is just 3 to 5 mins away. So don't complain that it's far okay guys. It's nearby. Restaurants are just everywhere, I mean it, EVERYWHERE! No worries, you won't die of hunger. Ladies and gents are cleaned everyday to my observation. Staff are funny and friendly. They make jokes along the way especially "reda" ( one of their reception) making me think that they're stand up comedians. They are also helpful, but no worries, they are not too helpful that you get irritated. Chris, may sound loud as tho he's scolding you but wait a minute, he is just loud but no he is not scolding you, so don't be mistaken by him aite guys. He's funny, helpful & friendly. I would like to thank this hostel and all its staff very much. I made a reservation through booking and booking canceled without notifying me. I arrived from Hong Kong at dawn and went straight to this hostel thinking I had a reservation. When wines that had no reservation and had no bed available, the staff tried to get a place in other hostels, not being able to let me sleep at the reception until morning when I would roam a bed. I can only thank you for everything! Excellent service, cleanliness and breakfast. I indicate for sure.
