Came here with family on a sat morning for breakfast before heading to botanics for a walk. Was good that they had baby hair chairs. Didn't know that part of the menu is only served from 11am onwards though so it was a bit of a bummer. The dim sum and toast serving sizes were a little small so ended up having to order several dishes to get our fill.

Branch of the Killiney Kopitiam. Similar to Ya Kun. Toast set, nasi lemak and laksa were okay. The mee siam was terrible. Rather over priced.

Good brand with great local coffee and tea flavours. Consistently reliable taste at any branch! This branch shares venue with a bar, Orhgao Taproom. Parking is available at the basement, though rather limited. While there is dim sum and some basic dishes, I prefer to eat here either for the breakfasts or teatime. Toasts, boiled eggs or dim sum are just nice in quantity and quality. Tasty egg, definitely not cheap type. There is alfresco dining for those who prefer fresh air in the mornings. Afternoons can be rather warm outside and dusty due to the traffic nearby.

Reviewed for a dine-in experience on a weekend for lunch in Oct-2020. An economic and local cuisine option in the heart of Bukit Timah. Our order: Nasi Lemak and Teh Ping Our favorite part: Chicken's savory flavor and flaky texture What we would like more of: Minor recommendation would be to have a clearer view of the ikan bilis when our dish is served. Food quality: 5 of 5. Not the typical nasi lemak found in Hawker centers. This is more like the "atas" nasi lemak found at the Coconut Club Food presentation: 3 of 5 Service: 4 of 5. Above average food preparation speed Ambience: 4 of 5. Highly accessible location for publication transportation (Botanic Gardens MRT and bus stops), and private cars

Worst service ever encountered. Ask for small cup of coffee and instead of explaining they only have one size, ask me sarcastically is the cup very big? Impatiently asking for mode of payment and unnecessarily rude even though I am friendly throughout. Almost empty outlet yet service level is so poor. Both have china accent and enjoyed rubbing customers. Maybe it is their last day at work. I just left with my coffee and commented them for their great sense of Chinese humour.

One of the Beat Killiney and one of the best Cafe that can have a short stay for a talk or simple works with Laptop. There is more than 15 sets of Indoor seating for 2Pax dining experience. Another more than 20 Sets of 2 is also there for outdoor lover. Food is great and maintained the quality of Killiney. Friendly Staff as well.

Killiney Kopitiam Serene Centre has been my family’s go-to breakfast place for more than a year now. We love the food there as well as the service from the all wonderful staffs there, especially ACE ❤️. He makes great coffee amongst many other things and goes the extra mile and makes the whole breakfast experience an enjoyable one! This is my favourite breakfast go-to place 👍! I highly recommend it! 🍻

The food has some hits and misses. Nasi lemak and curry chicken are nice. Like the environment - clean & rather spacious place. The service is good - polite and friendly. Once I decided to change the order even when it is already keyed into the system. The young guy at the counter immediately asked the cook in the kitchen to not start cooking. He went through the trouble to correct in the system and refund the difference. Really commendable service & deserves a 5 star for that!

Wow. What a gem ! Great ambience with familiar canto songs in the background. Fantastic food. Ordered their carrot cakes, softboiled eggs (nicely done), the lor mai kai's rice is soft and fragrant. The Siew Mai is to go for, can taste the quality. Most important of all, the counter staff who takes our order and the uncle who helps to collect back the dishes and reset the table are very polite. Will come back again. Kudos.

Came for lunch at 2.30pm but was left with no mee siam and a few other dishes. Ordered just the dim sum and carrot cake which was pretty mediocre. Great ambience, but can be a bit pricey. They turned down the restaurant after 4+ and prep it for a bar in the evening time.

Food was decent and I liked their chee cheong fun (prawn) and French toast. Pleasant eating environment with both air-con and outdoor. Was well patronised on a Saturday morning.

Only good things to say. Food is well seasoned and their tea is just right for me. They serve lunch and late night drinks too. Beer starts at $11, good for dates and catch-ups. Eclectic patio seating. Sometimes has hipster events here, which is a little confusing for me personally but I do think it's pretty cool they've got a whole brand they're building. Only thing is music inside is pretty loud, so keep that in mind if you have any sensory sensitivities

Needed a place to do two hours or work and discussion, and was surprised that the food here is much better than the other coffee chains. The Nasi Lemak and Laksa were good. This Cafe transforms into a Bistro in the evening.

Not bad, they share the place with orh gao to maximize the place. Breakfast luch in the day, beer at night. The price a bit more steep compare to hawker of course. The carrot cake is of okay standard. Update 05102021 Student Meal at $6.90 is normal. The fishball is not soft and the soup tasted weird.

Updated review 4/2/21 - service has improved and breakfast was enjoyable. Hubby likes the carrot cake there. 05/05/19 - back for lunch, HD a much better food experience. Coffee and tea always great. Mee rebus was much improved and tasted yummy. Nasi lemak was tasty but the fried wings can be improved, somehow tasted like something out of a frozen bag. Fishball noodle soup was alright. Carrot cake too but can be less salty even though we reminded the staff on this request. Son's Mac and cheese was way too cheesy for my liking but he seemed to like it. --------------------------------------------- Room for improvement. Our second time here. The last time we had salted egg pasta, braised chicken rice and curry chicken. Salted egg pasta was interesting, braised chicken rice was passable but curry chicken was watery and tasteless. It was soon after their new opening so propably still trying to iron things out. Back again for breakfast today. We ordered carrot cake and mee rebus. Overheard another guy on another table commenting that his carrot cake was too salty before our order came. Indeed carrot cake was too salty. I feedback to the counter staff and recomended less chai poh and more carrot cake to balance out the saltiness which they complied so thumbs up for service recovery even though I had to ask for it. Mee rebus was tasty, only gripe was the noodles was overcooked to the point of sogginess. Otherwise, I would have rated their mee rebus 7/10. Coffee was smooth and they do it well here. Hopefully when we next return, food quality would have improved. For new outlets, I think the most important part is customers feedbacks. I would suggest making feedback forms available so that they know where to improve on. 😊

Can’t go wrong with Killiney Kopitiam, and it’s true the nasi lemak is superb! The right amount of herb and bursting with flavour, the coconut rice is so fragrant! 10/10! This is high end nasi lemak boys and gals. All the tea, kopi and ice lemon tea is great too. The curry chicken with bread or rice, you choose, is not too bad but will only give it a 6/10. Nice place to chill anytime with aircon or just enjoy the outdoor seating.

I previously left a pretty negative review for this Killiney branch (about 4+ years ago, pre-covid) because of a staff member who was not only cold to customers but downright rude to her teammates. However, I've since deleted that review so that I could write a new one. Since our negative experience in the past, we didn't really come back to this Killiney all that often. Then Covid hit and not wanting to travel too far from home, we decided to visit the store again. There had been a complete change in staff and since then they experience has been so much more positive. There is a younger gentleman who services the counter who is polite and efficient at the same time. The uncle who works with him to make the drinks is efficient and friendly too. Honestly, the food is just the food. There isn't anything spectacular about it and I kind of wish their black carrot cake was the one made with the sweet black sauce but it's actually just white carrot cake with normal soy. Not great, but ok. We go there more for the convenience, efficiency and the fact that their staff are friendlier now. One big piece of feedback is to perhaps place signs up on the sofa seats to have them reserved for groups of four. A lot of times when we go in, the seats are taken by groups of two, or even worse, individuals.

One of the cheaper food options in the area, compared to the surrounding cafes and eateries. However drinks are a rip off. Small metal mug of iced lemon tea that is half filled with ice cost $3 plus. And it’s not even real brewed tea, just the syrup type. Mee Siam was mediocre. Overall, it’s ok. Just don’t have any expectations because of the brand name. One star given to the food. Two stars given to the air-con that provides a cool respite, especially for those that took a long walk at nearby Botanic Gardens in Singapore’s hot and humid weather.

No frill local food avail. Interesting place which convert to pub at night. Reasonable price and food is decent given the price range. Getting very crowded after 10am.

Brunch here after Sunday morning walk at botanic gardens. Lucky to get a table without waiting! Ordered a kaya butter toast set with Kopi, Nutella toast and black carrot cake. Nutella toast had a good nutty filling while kaya butter toast was okay. Black carrot cake was tasty but expensive @$5 for a small portion. Service was quick. There is a separate area for drinks at night, interesting concept.

😐 This is ecstatically the best looking amongst the PS Cafes. They have a good selection of food and beverages that some might consider pricey. But their cakes and deserts are very good.
