Honestly the worst customer service I've experienced here in Singapore. Staff are so lazy, and I had to ask them 3 times in a span of 15 minutes to take my order - more like begging. Tried to get the attention of two different staff, but both of them tried to not see me (what a joke). I had to shout across for them to 'catch their attention', only to be told to wait and then they disappear and then start talking among themselves. I did this 3 times before they finally took my order. The place was also poorly maintained, the menu was sticky, and the table wasn't clean to begin with. The only thing that saved everything, and why it even got one star is the decent food. Enjoyed the sambar vadai and rava masala dosa. Would never come again, despite enjoying their sambar vadai. I just didn't feel valued. What a shame.

Nice south Indian restaurant with authentic South Indian food. In little india you can find many South Indian restaurant but this one is a franchise of saravana. Service is not so good as the staff is not so humble. Atmosphere is of typical south Indian type. Mostly Indians come here to eat. We ordered masala dosa, rawa dosa and vada sambhar. Both are no doubt very tasty and fresh, pure south Indian taste and best thing not so expensive too.

Very nice and reasonable priced vegetarian set meal. It's just opposite Mustafa shopping mall. A must visit restaurant if you like vegetarian food.

A typical Indian restaurant located in the heart of Singapore City. Good quality pure vegetarian food with authentic South Indian taste. There is enough seating capacity to handle people in groups. For breakfast, I reccomend buying the combos as they are more worth it. We tried Mini Tiffin combo, Masala Dosa combo and Rava masala Dosa combo. All were really good but the mini tiffin stood out for me the most. The service was also fast and the food came within 5 minutes.

Its located just opposite Mustafa market. Being a regular the owner is quite friendly and chatty with us. The food is good and priced decently except 1 minus point on cleanliness. There were large spider cobweb in restuarant eating area which they have to clean. Otherwise food quality is excellent

Very nice interiors for a vegetarian resraurant in Syed Alwi Rd. Doesn't feel cramped. Near Mustafa. Vadas not up to par with Ananda Bhavan. Understaffed I think when I visited on a Monday morning. Coffee served in metallic cups, which wasn't the most pleasant. It was also tasteless and bland. Too add to that, they charged a good $8 for all these. Staff didn't even give a pleasant face. Never going there again.

The food here was nice enough, but the staff were pretty unattentive and not particularly friendly. I accidentally spilled my drink that was filled to the brim, and there were no staff or serviettes anywhere to help (even when they eventually noticed the mess on the table). That's something that could be improved upon, particularly for a chain restaurant.

Wheelchair accessible but not very easy to navigate. We tried Chola Bhatura (they call it Chana Bhatura, which is more apt) and Paav Bhaji on Friday evening here. First of all, it took 30 mins+ to get sitted because of the crowd. The wait was not worth it. Coming from Central India, I would say that the taste of both dishes were very sub-optimal. We also tried Masala Dosa, and compared to the other two dishes, it was much better. So, would recommend you to try south indian dishes only here. Also, the seating is too close to each another, so on Friday evening, you will probably not have a 'delight' feeling here.

Our most prevalent food cravings: hearty, spicy South Indian meals. Satisfying it here with vegetarian roast paper masala dosa. Perfectly thin and crispy. Stuffed with rich mashed tapioca. Coconut chutney, sambar and other dips on the side. And tender coconuts, of course.

You are better off to grab a bite at other restaurants in this area. Worst “ Pau bhaji” i have ever had in my life. Some parts of the Pau were too hard to eat and rest felt like I’m eating undercooked dough. Bhaji was tasteless. My husband got a chat that also was tasteless. Slow service! “Don’t care” attitude of staff!
