Excellent food and experience, truly deserving of the two Michelin stars. Appetisers were a nice demonstration of the nuances of flavours. White asparagus and caviar blended nicely. Cornish seabass had a lovely rich feel, and the Welsh lamb was a fantastic mix of flavours that came together so well. The dessert was lovely, enjoyed the conference pear. Service was warm and friendly, with good views of the skyline. Only grouse was the music was a little too loud.

We had a very nice dinner at Jaan. We thought the chef hit all the right notes and delivered an inventive menu based on classic flavors. The wine pairing was very good and sported some very unique wines which we enjoyed alot. For us this is the best experience in a Asia top 50 restaurant in Singapore so far, even though it is ranked lower than others. What stood out to us is that every course was excellent, high quality ingredients and flawless execution. Other restaurants add or switch ingredients for the sake of sounding original but with a net negative impact on the dish and we were very pleased that there has been none of that in Jaan. At the same time we were impressed by the black truffle ice cream which demonstrated how to innovate flavor combinations where it makes sense and produces a high quality result.

Evolved Elegance. Respect for the ingredients with a nuanced style. i adored the cuisine and total experience at Jaan and this talented chef. One feedback, arriving prior to the restaurant is disappointing, you have to walk through a mall and outside to arrive and the vendor check at the "welcome" (not). it is some "student" who is juggling delivery rider and really not very unhelpful. Truly not a 2 star experience. (I hope they try fix this). the valet (they used to have) could "shortcut" this process and the driveway has space. On to the good stuff. Great dishes, beautifully presented. Favorites for me, the white asparagus caviar, roasted Langoustine. Most things paired beautifully with a nice champagne. Love a little, enjoy the view over some exquisite bubbles and cuisine. Kirk and team will take really good care of you. once you are upstairs. I even thought an "auntie" who i ran into on my way down was very friendly and engaging. I was so impressed.

Jaan by Kirk Westaway is a culinary gem soaring high above the city on the 70th floor of Swissotel the Stamford. The meal was nothing short of spectacular, embodying the essence of a multiple Michelin Star restaurant. The sweeping views complemented the impeccable service provided by a knowledgeable and welcoming staff. The quality of ingredients was evident in each creatively plated dish of the set daily menu. The dinner unfolded like an art show, with bite-sized servings meticulously explained, turning each course into a carefully crafted masterpiece. Although undeniably expensive, the experience was elevated by a thoughtful touch from the chef—a dessert tree and an extra treat to celebrate our honeymoon. Our waiter, Kim, was a standout, offering not just excellent service but also friendly conversation and local suggestions. Securing a last-minute reservation added an unexpected thrill to the intimate environment. With eye-popping decor and a limited seating arrangement, the restaurant provided a perfect backdrop for a memorable honeymoon experience. The chef's personal touch, sharing stories of culinary adventures in the United States, added an extra layer of charm. In the end, the small bites from the multiple-item tasting menu left us pleasantly stuffed, thoroughly impressed, and fully satisfied with both the food and the overall experience. Jaan by Kirk Westaway is undeniably a 5-star journey for anyone seeking an exceptional culinary adventure in Singapore.

This might be just another mundane review of my fine dining experience but wait there’s a reason why Jaan still retains its 2 Michelin stars and long waiting list to get table. Food presentation for fine dining is easy to emulate everywhere however taste is the ultimate driving force and Chef Kirk is winning in this expertise. I find that English chef is adventurous in creating their dishes and there is something that always surprises you on every meals. Tbh didn’t discover much English chef in Singapore so far only 3 and they all are amazing. Chef Kirk was one of them.

Prepare to budget at least $SGD1,000 for the set menu for two (more if you include wine). Despite the restaurant boasting 2 Michelin stars, our high expectations weren't fully met. The flavors seemed overly complex, diminishing the originality of Great British Contemporary cuisine. For instance, the fish and chip starter lacked a distinct fish taste, and the blue lobster was enjoyable, but the pasta had an unexpected tom yum flavor. The guinea fowl resembled roast pork more than a game bird. Dessert lacked excitement, being uniformly sweet. On the positive side, the service was impeccable, and the staff displayed utmost professionalism. The atmosphere was fantastic, complemented by a stunning view. Would I return? Probably not.

I booked a table for lunch through Jaan’s website 6 weeks in advance to celebrate the much anticipated anniversary. The reservation was confirmed via email on Nov 17. I received a call two weeks before the lunch informing me that the restaurant will be closed on the day of my booking. Prior reservation was “a system error”. The caller’s tone was unapologetic. Citing that the call was a courtesy from the restaurant trying to make other arrangements. But, what choice do I have? Move my anniversary date? Truly disappointed.

Pretty good experience. Cannot fault the presentation and the superb service rendered throughout the one and a half hour lunch we had. It is a tribute to the service staff that they managed to pace out the lunch in such an unhurried manner but quick enough for fast eaters like ourselves. The food were served in a variety of interesting wares, some unconventional, and pleasantly surprising. Forgive the less than ideal pictures as I cropped them from my partner's video. The view no doubt is a fitting accompaniment to such an interesting array of dishes prepared by the chef for the 5 course lunch that we had. No doubt will hope to return again when the wallet allows !

Reserved online, Called to confirm, Paid a deposit. Follow up on reservation email.. it was a very important day for me and i wanted to make sure nothing goes wrong. They called me 3 days before to cancel my reservation. Horrible. Irresponsible & dishonourable. You could have not taken my reservation in the first place. Thank you for leaving me without a dinner reservation on such an important day. Leaving a feedback here so that people are aware of such terrible thing this restaurant did. Think twice before booking, especially if you have a special occasion. They might just cancel you and leave you stranded w/o a reservation. You have been warned.

Right off the bat, the atmosphere and people were amazing. The staff were all friendly and they described the dishes to us. The view was spectacular- facing the skyline of MBS and the sea (all the way from level 70!) My favorite dish would have to be the cherry tomato salad with basil sorbet. Absolutely unique and refreshing. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo of the desserts we had but the Eton mess was phenomenal. I loved how light the meringue was, and the strawberries were so sweet and fresh. Needless to say, the rest of the dishes were delicious too. Definitely worth a visit :)

Visited the newly renovated Jaan a few months back and was mightily impressed with not only the new and improved space, but also the way the food has been elevated. When my partner and I first visited Jaan we were blown away by the extraordinary take on British cuisine. However, after revisiting the restaurant following its refurbishment, we were awestruck at how Chef Kirk and his team managed to elevate the already stunning dishes even more. While the menu did not change much from our last visit (excepting changes in the dessert options, palette cleanser, as well as the addition of the sweet onion pie), the old dishes were elevated to greater heights. Scallop was substituted for obsiblue prawns on the sea bass course, which made for a smoother bite with the fish itself. A more generous portion was provided for the Guinea fowl, this time stuffed with sausage as well as the Guinea leg. Where previously the game meat was presented with a slightly underwhelming herb-crusted potato, Chef Kirk opted to pair it with an elegant truffle and artichoke pie this go around. The sweetness of the artichoke helped balance out the slight saltiness of the guinea meat. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch date perfected by the excellent and graceful service provided by our server, Terry. We are looking forward to returning again and would highly recommend Jaan.

My first 2 Michelin stars dining experience in Singapore Food: 3 stars 1) food lack varied texture 2) All your dessert has 1 flavour, sweet. Can do better with different flavours… 3) brioche is dry Service: 4 stars - was awesome thorough-out the sitting except during the start, I was asked, “What would you like to order?” 😂 I was slightly taken aback when our server said that. Atmosphere: 4 stars - the aerial view is unbeatable. Just that it’s a city view. Hopefully odette lives up to its stars better

The best meal of my life! I'm writing this more than 6 months afterwards, and I still remember it. Every single dish was a delight. Who knew that humble bread could taste so good, or that mushroom soup could be elevated with such rich flavors? The dessert chocolates sounded the perfect final note, with a different surprise inside each one.

(Translated by Google) Visited October 2019. Each ingredient shows a living texture. However, there is only one dish that remains memorable. Although it may have been because of its strong naturalism, there was no dish that showed an impressive taste, but the delicate expression of taste and the use of ingredients of each dish was impressive. And service was good, like a Michelin 1-star restaurant. They say they are Korean, so there is a Korean chef in the kitchen, so they call me and say hello.

Had the 4 course lunch menu ($118++) today at Jaan. I enjoyed the dishes from the small bites all the way till dessert. The service crew was attentive and displayed great hospitality towards my requirement. Appreciated that the head chef came out for a short chat with me as well! Indeed they deserve the best asia 50 title and the view at swissotel level 70 is stunning! A good meal with a good view :) I will definitely be back because of the great professionalism displayed by the team.

I have always wanted to dine at Jaan since I have heard it years ago when it was helmed by Andre Chiang and having visited it since being helmed by Kirk Westaway, the latter has brought with him a culinary dishes that showcases a little bit of his hometown. The dishes certainly disappointed and having reviewed this place only this year (while dining at the establishment a year ago), I can still remember the tastes of the various dishes. They were delectable as they were too pretty to eat. It was certainly a memorable experience (also because we celebrated my friend's birthday there) and also because the service was exemplary. I would recommend any one who loves food to dine at Jaan.

Overall, the food and service are both excellent. Despite it being only a 6-course dinner, some dishes are not listed inside, like the free-flow sourdough bread, Ribena dessert, petit four, birthday cake (if you are celebrating a birthday), and a cup of coffee or tea. So, it is definitely a very filling meal. I think it is worth the S$288 per pax and another visit when the seasonal menu changes.

Loved the experience here. One of the few restaurants I have been to where I liked every single dish. Some places like to add odd ingredients in order to add a twist, but here things are fancy but simple. The ingredients you expect but in presentation that delights. I liked the constant British touches but without trying to shove the cuisine down your throat. Absolutely worth it, great friendly service, and above all doesn't break the bank. Loved the touch of them giving me a loaf of the bread to take home because I liked it so much - that simple thing really leaves a good feeling. Definitely recommend.

One of the most wonderful lunch experiences! We had the 5 course meal and a few glasses of wine and I now understand why it was hard to make a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. The staff was attentive to our needs and was very knowledgeable about the wine and food. Would really advise to book 1-2 months in advance, especially if you want window seats. They also gave us a mini cake since we came for a birthday celebration. Thank you to the entire Jaan team for an amazing experience. The 2 stars are very well deserved!

It was definitely surreal to be here in Jaan a couple months ago for a birthday celebration. View was spectacular and it definitely brought out great ambiance. Every dish that was brought out, brings high expectations for the next dish and my favorite was the chicken. I did not understand the taste of beetroot and caviar and found it overly fancy. The wine pairings were amazing and well thought out. It brings the whole experience together and definitely made each dish taste better. I must say I found the palette cleanser really refreshing and amazing. The technique for the desserts were nothing short of amazing as well. Will definitely come back for dinners in the future.

Second time at Jaan for a celebration. This time for dinner. However, the difference in the menu experience compared to that the lunch 2 years ago was negligible. In addition, there is a difference between expensive (food at a Michelin star restaurant) versus ridiculous (a medium bottle of drinking water was charged at ~$36). To clarify, it was a bottle shared between two guests. Unfortunately, won’t be coming back.

Jaan's customer service was top notch, as expected from a 2 Michelin Star restaurant. The team was extremely accommodating and friendly. We had a very warm welcome by almost every staff when we were ushered to our seats. The dinner course was magical. If I had to be honest though, I was initially disappointed by the names of the dishes on the menu. I expected fancy names and long descriptions of each dish but the first dish was titled, "fish & chips" haha. Of course, every dish turned out to be amazing. The menu's concept was, "simple, yet complex." The head Chef, Kirk, brought out beautiful flavours from simple ingredients and I could tell every dish was almost a piece of art with the way he layered different textures and played with contrasting flavours. I'm quite a big eater but I was pleasantly surprised that the dinner course filled me up to the brim. They were very kind to serve us a complimentary birthday cake for my partner and even offered us special cheeses on the house. We ended up dining for more than 3 hours and were the last couple to finish. The team patiently waited and served us so graciously. Kirk also came out to greet every table. We should've taken a picture with him but he seemed swarmed by questions and we didn't want to add to his busy night. We were very happy at the end of the meal! I plan to bring my partner back again for their lunch menu or when Jaan changes their dinner menu. Definitely a must try :)

When people say nothing is perfect, bring them to Jaan. They'll find perfection in everything, from ambience to presentation and flavours. It's a perfect and beautiful execution of your fine dining experience. Every dish lives up to its characteristic of "modern British" food with a twist of uniqueness. My partner and I absolutely had a terrific experience at Jaan because everything was impeccable. Definitely going back again!

Initially having nestled in the heart of the restaurant, I found myself placed away from the scenic views outside. Despite this, the central location provided convenient accessibility to the impeccable service led by Giuseppe and his team. Their engaging demeanor and active participation in our conversation transformed the dining experience into a memorable and enjoyable affair, compensating for the absence of an external view. The attentiveness and warmth of the team truly made the overall atmosphere delightful, turning what could have been a minor setback into a positive aspect of the day.

The best Michelin restaurant in Singapore we have been to thus far! Every dish was divine and designed to perfection. It was so flavorful and delicately presented. And to top it off, we had the best service from our dedicated restaurant executive, Kim, who's so warm and welcoming while he explains every dish in detail with passion. Thank you so much, Kim, for making our dining experience extra special! We will definitely be back again.

Keen to see out our last night in Singapore with something a little special we decided to go to Jaan and WOW, it did not disappoint! Stepping out of the lift 70 floors up, walking into the restaurant and seeing the view over the city is breathtaking. Sitting down, you begin to hope that the food lives up to the view and I can confirm it really does... maybe even betters it! The tasting menu was incredible from start to finish, the service and warmth of the staff was exemplary and we left very fulfilled... and full. Being from the UK like Chef Kirk Westaway it was great to be able to relate to what he has created from some absolute classics. The food really was next level. Quite possibly the best culinary experience of my life and a great way to finish our time in Singapore on the first leg of our honeymoon.

JAAN was magnificent! Renée and I got engaged earlier in the day and celebrated with our closest friends at JAAN. The team made our special day even more outstanding :) They were warm, welcoming and made sure that not only were we looked after, but the night was memorable. The food is exceptional! “Eggs in and egg” was an absolute standout. Each dish was prepared with love and presented beautifully. The broths! I’m not sure I can describe them...you can taste the attention to detail in every sip and every carefully (perfectly) made broth. ...finally the view. Perched on top of Stamford plaza. Gorgeous!

I give this place five stars because the food is flawless --- just flawless. Inventive yet simple, bringing out natural flavors and yet working some magic. And the chef is very friendly. It is my go to blow-out special-occasion restaurant in Singapore. A rare restaurant where the spectacular view does not diminish the quality of the food. I can't say enough about the spectacular dishes, and there's a fine balance between retaining old favorites and innovation each time I've been. I have two complaints, however: once I was very late to my reservation, although I called several times to inform the restaurant. When we arrived, we were seated but scolded by the hostess. I could understand not seating us if we arrived too late, and foregoing $300+ per person. But I don't understand seating us and scolding us. Afterwards, service was flawless. Secondly, I understand restaurants have markups on wine and soft drinks. But I think Jaan's markup on soft drinks is exorbitant. I'll happily pay $300+ per person for this amazing, unique food, but I think two of us paid more than $50 for sparkling water during the meal, which stung because the same bottles could be had for a pittance 60 some floors down in the same building. These two complaints do not diminish my overall feelings about Jaan, which is that its a Jewel in Singapore's dining firmament and that I look forward to returning.

My experience with this restaurant has been extremely disappointing. I made a table reservation a week in advance for a surprise celebration for my husband and I on our wedding anniversary; only to get called by the restaurant a couple of days before the date of reservation to have it forced cancelled - the reason : “last minute big group reservation... therefore we are closed for public” (quote unquote from the restaurants SMS message to me). The front of house and subsequently the manager called to explain, and had offered to rebook a date or an alternative location (the least they could do for service recovery); but the fact that they had kicked us out in favour of a big group booking was really shocking for top restaurant like Jaan. If you are looking to make a reservation here for a special occasion, I hope you’ll think twice as your plans could be easily ruined at their will. If they can do this to me, they can do this to you too. There are many restaurants who honours their reservation policy, and sadly, Jaan is not one of them.

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary as well as me starting a new stage in my life, but this place didn't bring any joy to our special day. Out of the five-course lunch, only the poached snapper and the pre-dessert were passable. The cold dish "summer beans" tasted really weird as the ingredients didn't complement each other. The signature dish "eggs in an egg" disappointed me as well and the rest dishes didn't impress neither. Overall, there was no surprise in the food, presentation and service. On a side note, the reservation system was redundant. After making an online reservation, customer needed to confirm twice via email. For this price range, customers really expect innovation in the cuisine itself, not just the fancy presentation (which was like a show). I could well spent this lovely Saturday at other better places, with more genuine and customized service of course.

5 stars all the way. Went for lunch and had some of the most amazing food I've had in quite a long time. Didnt end up too full, it was just the right amount. Loved the fact that everything was tied out to the UK theme. And the chef was charming, came over and spoke with us. Highly recommend.

I've tried all the michelin star japanese restaurants in Singapore and tbh, they are nothing special - just fresh fish flown in from Japan which is the same for Tatsuya. Try their legendary wagyu beef bowl. I special request that they add it for my omakase and they managed to do it.

Service was good, as the staffs explained each and every course served. Had the wine pairing and the sommelier has also explained about the varietal of wine to accompany the courses. Food was really good, what stood out were the beetroot meringue, British roots and Ivory caramel. Eggs in an egg was beautifully plated! Overall pretty good dining experience.

15 Nov lunch: had the 6 course lunch at JAAN. First visit. The small pre starters were very nice (particularly liked the beetroot meringue with eel) and even included a small mushroom/truffle soup which was v good. They also served sour dough bread with some gourmet butter and sea salt from Cornwall. Favourite dish of the courses was the pork main, we also ordered the wagyu which is slow cooked. Don’t particularly like when beef is slow cooked or braised, ie that kind of stringy texture, but I found this quite nice so may be V NICE for people who do like slow cooked beef. All round good experience and good food. Also tried odette before and Kirk Westaway taking over is a good thing!

My husband chose to celebrate his birthday at Jaan. Jaan has been our comfort restaurant for many years even before Chef Andre Chiang days. It has never disappoint even though many chefs have come and go including Chef Julien Royer of Odette. Again Chef Kirk Westaway has delivered a solid menu with his British background, he showcased lots of British ingredients. The whole meal reminded my husband and I of our yearly time spent traveling in UK especially trying out many Michelin restaurants in UK mainly in London. Beautiful meal! Will definitely go back again!

was here on a Friday night with friends and it was a splendid evening thanks to the friendly staff and delectable food. our favourite dishes were the sourdough bread, roast leek & potato soup, langoustine, eggs in an egg and the pear turnover. I suppose only thing to improve on would be the interior decor. will return!

Love the food, wine pairings (very well thought out), service, and emphasis on provenance that puts this restaurant truly ahead of its peers in the UK. We were here for the "Casual British Summer" menu. The menu features some pub favourites and dishes inspired by chef Kirk’s memories of his summers growing up in England. Booked a pre-valentines dinner. A while after I had made the booking, I received a note with the cost of the menu and a requirement to prepay. The cost was inordinate (over $1100 for two people) but I decided we would stick with it. A while later I was called to be told that they would not be catering to vegetarian guests on that night. It then took several weeks to receive a refund with my prepayment. Needless to say we will not be dining here again.

JAAN's food, wine and service are all so fine that one feels the good people at Michelin are being very grudging. If the quality I experienced can be sustained then another star must be about the surest bet in fine dining right now. Superb value for what you get. There are great views too, but, once service starts, you'll barely care.

Can I call this comfort food? I used to be in the UK for awhile and this does bring back some memories. Food here was all perfectly executed. Only improvement I can probably comment on is that the potato terrine that came with the herb roasted lamb could be crispier. Their signature eggs in egg is still there, still aromatically infused with rosemary. So is their soup and amuse bouche (omg the devonshire cheese balls are to die for) The eton mess dessert was delicious, cream so airy and lightly sweet to complement the berries!

Dinner for a special occasion with wine flight. Promised a window table for occasion at booking but was assigned middle of room table surrounded by 5 other tables. Next, server dropped the butter onto tray but shockingly proceeded to serve me. Sadly had my bread without butter. Second & last wine didn’t pair as well though the Pomerol Merlot was splendid. Would recommend for casual dinner but probably not special occasion.

We had the 5 course with the flight of 3 wines for sat lunch, service by server Maggie and sommelier Chua as well as the manger who's 9 months into the restaurant was top notch. My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Jaan. The views from the restaurant were amazing from our table at the window, and I was very impressed with the service. Even before we dined my emails and questions were answered in a prompt and helpful fashion. The excellent service continued during our meal. All of the staff were friendly and attentive, and did a wonderful job explaining each dish to us. The staff happily offered a substitute when I informed them we didn't enjoy oysters, and I was also thoughtfully presented with a birthday cake and candle, which helped make the night even more special. The most impressive part of the evening however had to be the food. We absolutely loved it. There was not one dish we didn't enjoy, from the snacks all the way to the petit fours. I am a bread lover and was wowed by all of the different breads served - the flaky croissant-like roll with the soup, the salty, crispy parmesan toast that came with the egg dish and of course the loaf of rye sourdough. The cheddar pancakes and goose mousse tart were favourites among the snacks, even my husband who normally hates any sort of goose liver. We enjoyed all of the savoury courses, though if pressed to pick a favourite I would say either the baked artichoke with goat curd and jamon, or the guinea fowl. The flavour and texture combination of the first was perfection, all the sweet and salty and creamy and crunchy bits coming together in an absolutely perfect bite, and the second cooked to such tender, moist perfection that we barely required a knife. The crispy pork around the outside of the roulade added the perfect texture, and the braised leg with onion marmalade was soft and tender, and the sweetness from the onions totally made the dish for me. Desserts were equally divine, the ivory caramel is now officially one of my favourite chocolate desserts ever, I loved how all the different layers and types of chocolate worked together to form an essentially perfect dessert, and the petit fours were the perfect ending to the meal, each one better than the last, ending with that spectacular almond caramel truffle. It was great to see Chef Kirk Westaway out in the dining room as well, and the fact that he stopped by our table to check on our meal was a highlight of the evening. I've been raving about this experience ever since we dined to family, friends and colleagues, and can't recommend Jaan highly enough. It was an incredible dinner in an incredible setting, and I look forward to returning again soon.

Had a wonderful evening service at Jaan that overlooks the night view of Singapore at 70th floor. Highlights were the pastries served with the set meal & the leek & potato soup. the pigeon in mains can be exchanged for beef short rib or chicken. A small cake is available for our anniversary! Misses were the lobster which I think was a tad undercook(the waiter assured it was cooked), the pomelo in pre dessert was bitter and unpleasant. There were times where there isn't any crew on the floor(probably due to lack of staff during covid). Water is chargeable at $15 for 2 pax. And I couldn't find the two Michelin star plaque.

5 stars is definitely not enough to rate this amazing restaurant! Celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary with a nice dinner at Jaan by Kirk Westaway on 9 Nov. At the entrance was greeted by the lovely hostess who brought us to our seats. From there the ever so friendly and knowledgeable waiting staff were on hand to introduce each dish that was served. Providing information on what were the ingredients being used and how each dish was prepared. This is the epitome of how fine dining should be. Where the diners are able to have a connection with what was being served and allowed us an insight into the thought process and the efforts that the chef and his kitchen team puts into conceptualizing and preparing each dish. From the start of the dinner, each dish plays with the taste buds of the diner. Slowly building up on the tastes and flavors of the dish before that. Slowly building up to a crescendo which is the main course. For us, the main highlight of the night was the pigeon which had a really amazing gamey taste. That truly sealed up the evening for us. But no.... The chef had more in store. With the waiting staff served us the cheese platter to slowly bring us down from such a high that we had from finishing the main course. The savoury tastes of the cheeses, helped to prepare us for desserts which by itself should be a sweets journey by itself. All the dishes served was truly well planned to bring the diner on a culinary journey and experience. As usual I had the wine pairing to compliment my meal and I was delightfully surprised by the selection of wine the sommelier had prepared. Each glass of wine that came along with each dish served to bring out the flavors of the dish without being too overwhelming. When the sommelier came around to present the wine, he is so knowledgeable of each and every wine that was being served. I truly enjoyed being educated on the wine that I was having. With the sommelier highlighting what were the different flavors that will be present in each wine and how the wine will compliment the dish. If I were to really be nitpicky and choose something that can be improved, it would be the sauce that accompanied the lobster. To me, it was overwhelming the freshness of the lobster and the sweetness of the cabbage in the dish. I had to forgo the sauce that came with the lobster. I would like to thank Chef Kirk, his amazing kitchen staff and his awesome waiting staff for a truly memorable evening. Thank you for making our 9th wedding anniversary to be such a memorable evening. 😊

It was a lovely experience dining here and the service was excellent. Book an earlier time slot to get a seat right in front of the windows with an unblocked view of the skyline. Had the 7 course reinventing British and 5 course menu. Every dish was delightful and exquisite. I particularly liked the potato and leek soup - it was rich, creamy and there was a nice crunch of macadamia nuts in each mouthful + soft and doughy onion waffle. Some of my other favourites were the hen’s egg, scallop and lobster. The seabass had the slightest hint of fishiness but the added bite of the razor clams made up for it. The pigeon was also tender and not gamey but the crust could have been thinner. Definitely give it a visit for amazing food and experience.

My mind was blown. Don't come to Jaan expecting the greatest meal you have ever had, but come with an open mind expecting to experience flavors and textures you've not experienced before. Some of the flavor combinations were truly wonderful. On top of all that, it was the best service I've had in Singapore. So with all of that said, this place is pricey ($200-$300sg). But like I said, don't come here for a meal, come for an experience that you will always remember.

Prior to our lunch at Jaan, I've seen and heard of it a few times but never really felt compelled to visit. My husband brought us there for our wedding anniversary and I must say I enjoyed every moment of it. From the large front door, to the short flight of stairs with gold pipe details to the breathtaking view at the top of the city, the feast for the eyes began much earlier than the actual feast did. We managed to get a table by the window and there were nice little stone stools for our bags. The drink menu was truly extensive and although we do not usually drink, we ordered a glass of Chateau Guiraud as I prefer sweet wines. Of the many dishes served, my personal favourite was "Hen's egg". The sensory experience of that dish truly exceeded my expectations. The serve ware was egg shaped and as the cover was removed, a dense smokey aroma permeated our senses. As for the flavour, the dainty black ring of pastry was sweet and complimented the savoury sauce. We enjoyed every course thoroughly and even finished the entire loaf of bread that was served in between. A huge shoutout to Chef Kirk for his amazing attention to detail in his creations, and the team for the great service. They were friendly and professional and also explained each of the dishes really well. P.S. The silverware they used to clean off breadcrumbs was so fascinating I took a video of it.

French two star michelin restuarant. Executive chef is from England and the ingredients are mostly imported. Had lunch and we ordered the 5 course menu. The food was great. We enjoyed the food served. However for the main course, my spouse did not enjoy the lamb gamey taste. This is a personal preference. For those who dislike it, the chef mentioned diners can request to change the main dish. It was great experience. The service was pretty good and we enjoyed our 3 hours + dining in Jaan. Will we visit them again? Perhaps.....

I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at JAAN By Kirk Westaway in Singapore, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an ambiance that exuded elegance and sophistication. First and foremost, the food at JAAN is nothing short of phenomenal. Chef Kirk Westaway's culinary expertise shines through in every dish, showcasing his passion for modern British cuisine with a touch of creativity. Each plate is a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that dance harmoniously on the palate. From the first course to the dessert, every bite was a delightful surprise that left me craving for more. One of the highlights of the meal was the "Summer Tomato and Hen’s Egg" dish, a visually stunning creation that resembled a pristine garden landscape. The combination of fresh vegetables, edible flowers, and delicate herbs was not only visually appealing but also showcased the chef's commitment to using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Every component was carefully selected and expertly prepared, resulting in a dish that was both vibrant and delicious. The service at JAAN was equally impressive. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They were more than happy to explain each dish in detail, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was perfect. The level of professionalism and attention to detail displayed by the entire team was truly commendable. Furthermore, the atmosphere at JAAN is nothing short of enchanting. Located on the 70th floor of Swissotel The Stamford, the restaurant offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Singapore skyline. The combination of the stunning views, elegant decor, and soft lighting creates a romantic and intimate setting, perfect for a special occasion or a memorable dining experience. Overall, dining at JAAN By Kirk Westaway was an absolute delight. From the impeccable food to the exceptional service and breathtaking views, every aspect of the experience was thoughtfully curated to create a truly memorable dining experience. If you find yourself in Singapore and are looking for a culinary adventure that will leave you in awe, JAAN is an absolute must-visit.

Everything was perfect in every possible way. They even have a shawl for women like myself who forgot to bring an extra layer. Food was exquisite, well thought out, food temperate was perfect. Interior design is clean white which then gives way to food to shine. Their drinks menu was interesting and staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks Jaan for making our visit pleasant and memorable.
