I
wanted
to
review
to
refute
all
the
other
negative
reviews
left
by
people
who
don't
know
what
they
are
talking
about.
I
feel
that
i
can
give
a
credible
review
because
I
am
a
legit
foodie
with
the
weight
and
eating
experience
in
michelin
restaurants
across
Singapore,
Taiwan,
Hong
Kong
and
Shanghai
and
few
hundred
reviews
on
google
in
various
restaurants
(not
a
fake
account).
I
also
managed
to
guess
most
of
the
food
that
was
being
served.
I
brought
my
sister
to
this
because
I
wanted
her
to
experience
what
life
was
like
from
a
visually
impaired
(VI,
it's
not
politically
correct
to
refer
to
them
as
blind
people!)
and
thus
food
was
secondary.
I
had
no
expectations
on
the
food.
If
you
want
a
fine
dining
experience,
you
can
go
to
Waku
Ghin.
If
you
went,
you
would
also
know
that
the
waiters
have
to
carry
food
up
a
narrow
staircase.
Can
be
more
patient
or
not?
You're
supposed
to
slowly
taste
the
food
and
guess,
and
make
small
talk
with
your
dining
partner.
STOP
complaining
that
you
hate
the
rules,
use
common
sense
la
of
course
you
won't
be
allowed
to
bring
your
phone.
You
want
to
take
pics
for
instagram,
go
to
the
hipster
cafes.
Firstly,
i
was
also
served
by
Bernard,
he's
very
good
at
making
small
talk
and
helping
my
sister
to
be
at
ease.
She
was
scared
of
the
dark
and
shy,
which
is
understandable
since
she's
only
a
14yo
student.
It
won't
be
fair
to
give
a
bad
review
if
you're
scared
of
the
dark.
This
place
is
literally
named
"Dine
in
the
dark".
If
you're
scared
of
the
darkness,
you
could
have
not
signed
up?
Although
if
you're
not
an
underaged
person
and
still
scared
of
the
dark,
i
think
you
need
to
see
a
doctor...
Secondly,
the
food
was
worth
it
at
$88
pricetag.
You
get
to
try
12
dishes,
meaning
each
dish
is
only
about
$7-8.
And
there's
foie
gras,
wagyu
beef
etc
served,
that's
worth
the
price!
And
even
for
me,
a
heavy
person,
i
was
stuffed.
How
can
anyone
say
the
portion
is
too
small,
that's
unbelievable
unless
you
are
as
tall
as
the
Rock.
Now
i'm
not
a
wine
connoisseur
so
i
cant
comment
on
the
wine
pairings,
(which
could
be
improved
because
white
wine
goes
with
cod
fish)
but
the
mocktails
were
delicious,
and
my
sister
is
a
fan
of
mocktails
since
she's
underaged.
Lastly,
it
also
makes
sense
that
a
popular
place
would
be
crowded
and
sometimes
you
have
to
WAIT.
I
have
queued
for
2
hours
for
Man
Man
Unagi,
Keisuke
Ramen
and
Ichiran
Ramen,
singaporeans
love
to
queue.
But
i
didn't
even
feel
the
queue
was
long.
I
reached
at
5.58
for
my
6pm
reservation,
got
my
amuse
boche
and
had
a
briefing
(which
was
DETAILED),
then
later
on
spent
30min
for
debrief
and
also
paying.
Although
i
got
a
shock
when
i
receive
the
bill,
it
was
because
I
did
not
go
and
look
at
the
price
beforehand
and
thus
didn't
know
how
much
to
expect
(that's
my
habit,
i
buy
things
that
i
like
first
and
only
know
the
price
later),
after
I
thought
about
it,
I
think
it's
a
reasonable
price.
Overall,
i
feel
like
NOX
is
a
meaningful
social
enterprise
for
the
VI
and
I'm
ok
to
pay
at
the
current
level
because
I
can
contribute
to
the
VI
and
also
enjoy
awesome
food.
(ngee
ann
poly
also
has
a
similar
concept
but
much
more
humbler
fare,
if
you
want
to
support
VI
but
can't
afford
a
lot).
Ps:
the
toilet
was
nice
and
clean
too
😂
