One of the many great street food centers in Chinatown Singapore. Couple Michelin recommended hawkers - I recommend to look up online and book ark the hawkers stalls before going there. Was definitely worth the effort for me! Gets very busy on weekdays during lunch due to office workers

Aromatic creamy curry chicken paired with 2 garlic naan $6.50. Value for money honey chicken wings! 3 full wings for $4! Juicy protein packed chicken wrap is damn good! $6 for this chunky wrap, can’t get that anywhere cheaper in a CBD! Hint: he’s hiding at the corner 01-69! Be sure to find him!

One of those hawker centres in Singapore with a legitimately good spread of both quality and variety of hawkers yet without being overly touristy or overpriced. Apart from the famed 天天 chicken rice, other more heritage options like the oyster cakes are also available. The craft beer store also makes for an interesting drinking option. Definitely worth a visit for both locals and tourists even if the queues are often long.

Took the signature ramen and was quite impressed with the noodles texture and the fried ingredients. Soup was piping hot and flavorful. What was a real disappointment though is the tiny amount of noodles and cha siew was quite fatty. I felt surfeited with just a single piece. Expection was obviously raised from a Michelin bib stall I conclude.

You'll feel more of the cbd rush more than anything. 1st floor of Amoy Street Food Center The beancurd drink was the best out of my lunch visit. Warm, filling, the right temperature of warmth. $1.50 (美美 mei mei - white signboard) The fried rice was meh. Eggs decent, everything else normal. Rice portion is big, so I guess that justifies the price of $9 for that??? Still not sold by it. Won't go back again for this fried rice (blue signboard)

    Probably one of the best concentration of good food in Singapore. What makes places like these special, is that the food are generally of a higher quality because a store needs to be exceptional to survive. Here is my ever growing list of food scoring for this place: #01-01 <kway teow> (6.5/10) #01-08 <LorMee> (8/10) #01-28 <laksa> (6/10) #01-31 <hor fun> (5.5/10) #01-31 <wanton mee> #02-102 <pork horfun> (7.5/10) #02-109 <dry banmian> (8/10) #02-99 <nasi thigh> (7.5/10)

Spacious hawker center with a large selection of stalls. We came around 7.15am and a few stalls are already open to a long queue of bikers and just folks having breakfast. Had some fresh homemade kuehs and soft boiled eggs, both very comforting and satisfying.

Great food courts and clean tables. The butter kaya toast on the second floor was nice and the won ton mee was good too.

One of my fave hawkers aside from East Coast lagoon. Very high ceilings, a lot of yummy eats and very clean bathrooms. I arrived at 12:30 pm on a Saturday, queues aren't long at all! A noodles story is a must and the duck rice! The place has a "loft" type of area where more tables are and that's where the murals of art are. Will definitely come back to try teowchew fishball noodles and the curry puff next!
