Haidilao Hot Pot at Clark Quay or HDL as it called, is an excellent place for exquisite dining experience. Food quality and variety is very good. The whole experience leaves you feeling satisfied and pampered. Even on a sunday afternoon we found the place only reasonably crowded. Better have an advance reservation. The hot pot is the main attraction. The fish was excellent. Fruit bowls, Icecream, condiments, drinks etc all served with polite quickness. A kids area. Waiting space with cold tea and water. Ladies can have their nails done while waiting. Overall very good experience. Keep it up.

5 Stars for the impeccable service! Service staff took time to explain where the washroom is, where to get condiments, and what is recommended. The app used to order is also easy to use. Soup base is thick especially with “extra” indicated, and there is no extra charge to add or thicken the soup! I recommend the “So-fish-ticated” soup based, quite generous on the fish fillet added! And the Chicken soup based has some nice herbal taste as well!

Good food and tasty, although the food relies on the sauces being cooked in. Tried some duck tongue (better than expected), pig brain wasn’t great, but the others meats were nice.

Loved the food and the service here. Everything was tasty, well cooked and the service was quick and responsive too. The only challenge was the long wait for a table. Despite having a reservation for 730pm on Friday, we only got our table after 8pm. Outside of that we had a great experience here and I would recommend the place for anyone keen on hot-pot food.

The Tobiko Chunky Prawn Paste and Beef in Milk Bath is very nice and delicious. The Sichuan Pepperfect Beef tongue is abit spicy. The Sweet Potato Noodles and Waterfall Potato Strings is still ok. The Mala Milk Bath is not so spicy and taste good. Overall a wonderful experience tasting all the new dishes.

The service here is impeccable, they never make you feel rushed to eat or order. They pointed out where is the restrooms & sauce bar as they lead you to a table. Offered aprons, hair ties, etc.. It's very welcoming. The quality of the food is good and fresh and the sauce, desserts, fruits & appetizers are constantly topped up. I ordered the mala with very spicy and extra numbing & boy did they deliver. My friends got tomato soup base - was nice.. Didnt try the plain water & tom yum soup base they got as well. If you order noodles, they will do a noodle pulling performance too. We ordered the little 🦞(小龙虾) & the server even peeled it all for us. There was people waiting for the tables but they never once made us feel like rushed. The only cons for the night was: The shrimp cheese ball wasn't cheesy, it felt more like salted egg yolk texture. The soup base got progressively saltier (but that's kinda expected) Overall personally feel that the food is overrated but they definitely made it up with the service and food quality.

One of my all time favourite places, I have ever been to in last 10 countries I visited. I kind of loved the experience for their great service, hot pot concept, great food, experience of tasting different sauces. Place is a celebration of food undoubtedly. Top notch quality food in my opinion. And they started robots serving food too. Which is cool along with their humans who interact pretty well and ensure we are having a great experience. Best if you take your family, friends, or colleagues because its an experience worth while with a group of people. Birthday celebrations are also fun too😀

Located on the 2nd floor, but the que will be on the 1st floor. I booked the table online at 07.30pm, but when arrived there. Staff said even though you booked, you have to stay in the que. the food is good quality as Haidilao standard. Polite and good service staff.

Our amazing meal is accompanied by very attentive service provided by 思韵. She may be a little overwhelmed but still cheery when serving us especially with 101 questions from our friend. 😆 Food is great as usual. Some stuff are well priced for its quality. $18 for 6 prawns is the most expensive hotpot food I ever had. 🥲

Went for the hai di lao buffet on a weekday lunchtime. Take note as there is additional cost for condiments and drinks. Felt unreal eating ‘buffet’ here, super worth the money. Food items are as expected, service is superb as always.

Second time visiting this outlet of Haidilao. On the weekend, it was quite packed till even 3AM but on a weekday, fairly empty at around 9PM. Like the service here, staff is polite and friendly. We took the 4-soup base option - mala milk, curry, tom yam and chicken soup. Mala milk by far is one of the best soup bases I’ve had. Went for the regular spicy version and it had the right balance of spice. Curry was a close second with some robustness to it. Tom yam comes with a huge prawn. We ordered a-la-carte items - enoki mushrooms, meat balls, chicken and pork. Also ordered a side of prawn pancakes that we quite liked. Also love the delightful condiment corner and whipped up our own spicy dipping sides. We also ordered kung Fu noodles and the status was ‘delayed service’. We had to remind the staff towards the end and they gave the noodles to us without the theatrics. Only downside to this place is the Aircon which makes it very cold to the point of being uncomfortable. We asked for blankets, which were provided but they cranked the AC further after 10:30PM or so.

Have dined at various HDL locations across the world. This one didn't disappoint. Only had to wait a few minutes for our table. Service was excellent. Good menu and sauce bar options.

Horrible wait of soup to be served. Messy wait at the reception. Some have drinks and popcorn, some dun have anything. Totally understaffed. We waited an hour for soup to be served. The menu for the so called buffet is super substandard. Total of 40 items including the different types of carbs. No crystal beading anymore cox the staff initially Said that they are super understaffed then quickly rectified to say they tan out of strings. They dun even deserve the 10% service charge when nothing is done. We have no soups and drinks at table despite requesting at least 4x. The tomatoe soup is super diluted despite requesting to be thick. Can’t image how dilute it would be for normal

8 Nov 2023: I was here to celebrate my birthday with my family. The food and service was commendable, especially the waitress named 芯萓 was very patient with my endless enquiries and held wide smile throughout our entire seating. I even had birthday song sang with free birthday cake. It has been joyous thus far.

On Valentine’s Day, I made a reservation at 7.30pm. When we arrived, the lady took our phone number at the ground level and said we needed to wait for a maximum of 45mins and they’ll call us when the table is ready. Didn’t receive the call after 45mins. So we went back and the table still wasn’t ready. There were so many people in the waiting area. We stood in line to ask for our queue number because she had passed our phone number to the lady on top and we had no idea what our queue number was. When I spoke to her, she told me I’m priority and give me a table number, told us it would be fast. By then, 1.5 hours had passed. And we still did not have a table. Clearly, we wouldn’t be getting one any time soon because there were at least 20 other people waiting. Terrible experience. No organisation at all. Everyone was starving and waiting. We walked away and went to eat at don don donki instead.

First time encounter such a terrible service from hdl. I m a fan of hdl but this outlet service really terrible. Waitress send wrong item many times & didn't applogise to us. Even i request drinks they didn't serve directly but call me to wait until i called 2nd times. I visited hdl @ 12.30am after my concert so there wasn't a lot of customers @ the outlet so they shouldn't delay my order for such a long time. Maybe i didnt spend a lot that why the service is so so. Next time i will not visit this outlets if i wanted to eat hdl.

All time loyal customer of Haidilao. Clarke Quay is no doubt the worst branch in Singapore. We made a reservation, arrived on time, they made us to wait for over 40 minutes pass the reserved time slot. Which we left before even getting a seat, cause it is too tiring. Employees show no sign of apology nor caring, they don’t even bother to explain what is going on. All they said is we don’t accept reservations. Also, when we arrived, they found our reservation and gave us the note as usual (Haidilao prints out small notes containing name and phone number of reserved tables), which makes the whole situation even more confusing. Who ever puts this branch on the in-line app should be responsible for this problem. And employees should absolutely go through re-training. If you intend to visit Haidilao in Singapore, avoid this branch

Service is tiptop! Staffs were all friendly! Had lunch here, and they told us that it was their first day doing Dalgona Candy Challenge! Hence, i've given it a try, gotten a circle and succeeded in it! They gave us a free dish, i forgot what's the name of the dish. It was prawn covered with prata(?) This dish was delicious, my fiance loves it alot! The crab was surprisingly fresh as well! If you love crabs, go for it! Would come again if we were in clarke quay!

I have not been to this branch in a long time. Vivo is near me. We were there Fri 20/10 at 2pm - myself, my Mum and young daughter. Ms Li was our assigned staff. So happy about the service. My mum had a lovely time and the staff was very kind to offer a pencil case set & toy as soon as we sat down. The Manager was also very gracious & professional. We ordered our usual tomato soup, mushroom soup & favourite dishes. Familiar comfort food. HDL is always a lovely experience.

This place has some great vegetarian options including wide spread of vegetables, mushrooms, soy based items. The tomato base was very yummy and has similar notes of Indian tomato rasam. Definitely going to try once again. But the price is on higher side.

Went to try the $69.90++ for 2 buffet promotion. Very worth it as what we ordered would easily have exceeded what we paid for if ala carte. Food was good, service was outstanding thanks to Wang Jun Heng and Gao Jing. Both were attentive and very nice, came to our table to check on us ever so often and automatically refilled soup and water without asking. Would return to this outlet if served by them again.

Came here for dinner on Sunday. Less crowds. Able to eat peacefully. Staffs were not that attentive like any other outlets. Great variety of food to choose from.

Really nice place with great service and delicious food. They really think of everything you would need for hotpot. Food is delicious but very spicy, you have been warned!

Truly delicious. Many choices of hot pot, sauces, ingredients. I personally recommend fried tofu skin, black fungus, squid balls with black ink, and quails eggs. Quite phenomenal. Staff very pleasant and attentive.

Haidilao is one of my favorite hot pot places. There are many branches in Singapore and many of them open until late hour. The food is very good, fresh and same quality everywhere. Love how we can mix our own dipping sauce. The restaurant is clean, very good service and all staffs are very helpful. They will serve you a drink while waiting for the queue.

  • 1/5 Hans L. 8 months ago on Google
Horrible service staff 陈小丽 that served our table. It was a birthday celebration and mentioned about it but waitress simply did not follow up with it. Not to mention, super rude and not following with HaiDiLao service standards. Example of such is “not offering desserts when you finish”, “not offering sweet platter when done”, and when paying the bill was really rude as well. Overall a let down, Clarke quay outlet used to be good. Manager should look into service staff 陈小丽 on her service standards and etiquette. She didn’t even bother refilling the soup when it was low. Should relook into her and not let it drag the outlet reputation

I think by now, everybody knows about the impeccable service that HDL provides. Soup is amazing and the service team is very friendly and helpful. You have to go early to ensure that you do not have to queue for long period of time

Really good hot pot restaurant! The service is great, the selection of dishes and quality is really good and there is a social atmosphere. Definitely a good restaurant to enjoy a hot pot! The clever tablet system is also definitely a bonus, makes the entire process a lot easier and clearer! Can highly recommend!

1st time at Haidilao. I love love love their tomato soup hotpot. My husband choose the 3 delicacy soup and it’s also amazing. The service is great and we love the available of half portion order. We can have more kind of food despite just coming as a couple. There’s also fruits and they’re all sweet. Too bad we’re too full to try on their popular mango ice. You can also buy the soup base there. And ask for apron if you need! At last, the washroom is also amazingly clean. Just love it!

Nothing to say about HDL, service and good are absolutely the top. Nothing negative to comment about this outlet. On the other note, the toilet is very clean and the atmosphere is very fresh. Definitely feels like a 4 star hotel standard.
