👍👍 Food was delicious and service was great! We ordered the (i) chicken meltz burger, (ii) baby back ribs and (iii) pulled pork nachos! The burger came with a knife stabbed right in the middle, what a way for presentation! There were 2 slices of breaded chicken breasts, tomato slices, lettuce, bacon,... Unpretentious, casual but in no way a dive bar, the SOS has got the right vibes for a quiet midweek drink with your friends or sweetheart as well as a rowdy, steam-blowing-off beer with coworkers on a distressing Friday or whatever day of the week you find yourself in need of a haven of respite. Easily located, poised as a clipped edge on the streetside corner of The Sail, SOS Bar is rather handy. Public parking is available on the 4th floor of The Sail, reached by going around a sort of driveway/street that is correctly shown on Google Maps. If you take the MRT, you'll want the blue Downtown Line, alight at DT17, station aptly named the Downtown Station. Exit A. Walk across the street using the crosswalk and you are there. It's that easy! On our visit we had a cold beer and a gin-yuzu drink, both just fine and dandy. Also tried the sweet potato fries which were presented fresh out of the fryer in a wire basket. Easily done. Other reviewers have said there isn't much to see here, but I would disagree. They have sports on wall-mounted tv sets. This is a corner location not far from banks, shops, a hotel or two, plus there are residences in The Sail, so plenty of diversity as far as people watching if you're not into tv. Small dramas of lovers meeting, tourists being lost, workers being exhausted, expats being bored or lonely, all kinds of little stories are being played out on that street intersection if you just watch. Having a friendly staff, good to great selection of spirits and interesting cocktails or mocktails is a bonus. Catch a glimpse of Singapore here, especially on a Sunday, when other areas of the city are mobbed, this SOS Bar can be your haven of peace. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious and service was great! We ordered the (i) chicken meltz burger, (ii) baby back ribs and (iii) pulled pork nachos! The burger came with a knife stabbed right in the middle, what a way for presentation! There were 2 slices of breaded chicken breasts, tomato slices, lettuce, bacon, melted cheese, sauce/ spread (some kind of hollandaise sauce with fresh herbs). The buns were lightly toasted with sesame seeds and the cheese was so soft and chewy! The mix of crispness from the breaded chicken, and the savouriness of the bacon, mixed with the soft buns give it a very wholesome burger taste. The baby back ribs were so soft and literally fall off the bone! The meat was so tender and the sauce was drizzled all over the ribs. I was impressed with the size of the ribs, which were arranged so nicely! The sauce was also very smoky and sweet! The pulled pork nachos were lightly salted, and the same melted cheese was within it. There was also guacamole just heaped onto the chips, and bits of pulled pork tossed within. The pork bits were so soft and melted in my mouth. There were also burnt bits to give it a charred taste, and jalapenos to give it a spicy kick! (We even asked for more jalapenos which the staff gave!) The asahi draught from tap was also very fresh and smooth, as it should be. Overall, it's a very nice and cosy restaurant which I'd highly recommend coming to chill right in the middle of CBD, and to take a stroll around marina bay area! Would defo be back again!

This is kind of our local “watering hole”. It’s close to home and serves great drinks and usually has a good crowd. I don’t have a dog but I love that this place allows people to bring them (and other friendly animals welcome). Staff are all good people. Highly recommended. Edit: forgot to mention they have Sierra Nevada on tap!

This is a nice Mexican-themed place with nice food and drink. The burgers, fries, nachos and more are good, and the drinks are quite nice as well. It's definitely in the range of comfort food. A good location as well, right near a lot of things in the CBD. And the service is good.

Friendly staff. Came on a Saturday afternoon with my family. The food took a little while but the wait was worth it. Love the salmon and burger! Generous portion.

Drinks are okay but very expensive. The staff is friendly but if there are many customers it can take a while till you get your order. It can be very loud and conversations might be harder.

Order the nachos, can’t go wrong. The chips and avo dip was so good! Staff was great, met the founder and he was super chill. Would rec the interesting bloody mary if that’s your thing.

Didn’t eat there, just day drank. Great little bar for that. Surrounded and hidden by banking / financial institution skyscrapers, the kind of quiet place local office expats go after a rough day at the office to get loaded. I just visit Singapore once or twice a month for work but the staff made me feel welcome right away. She made a great vodka / lemonade and I had about 6 of them over 2 visits in the same day. Fantastic quiet but still interesting spot to hang out and watch people walk by. I was there on Tuesday afternoon which I’m sure is different then a Friday night, but I loved it. Will go back for sure and try the food next visit.

Amazing place with a true heart and soul! A starkly contrasting experience to your typical insipid bars in the city area, or in the country for that matter. The staff clearly have a true passion for what they do and they never fail to let it shine through even during their busiest times. Before you even raise your arm to call for the staff when you're out of ice or mixers, they are already on the way over with a refresh. Incredible attention to detail. When our orders were delayed, they were given to us free of charge, complete with complementary drinks. When I went to celebrate a birthday, the bartender graciously prepared flaming waterfalls for us, again free of charge, despite him being incredibly busy with so many other guests. If you're checking out the reviews and undecided on the place, this is the sign for you - go, and you will understand why I had to write this lengthy and glowing review for them. To the staff - thank you for the unforgettable nights!

Unusually quiet for a bar in the central business district. Food and drinks were great, perfect setting for a small get together session with colleagues. The crew were friendly and made customers feel comfortable at all times.

Really good experience , Cool concept bar in bottom of I think condo development, they allow some dogs were hanging out . Busy because of tennis tournament. Staff was kind. Draft beers 11-14$ , bartender messed up order but we got a free pint :)

Hands down the best bar in town. Well I'm not really from Singapore but once you get here and check it out for yourself you'll know why I think that... The staff is super friendly, drinks are very reasonably priced and the food is 5 star restaurant quality. Enjoy!

Beers are overpriced at $15-20, and not much of a view (facing the street). Seating is fairly limited

I ordered takeaway: Nachos with melted cheese, jalapeños, beef chili and beans. Requested for no guacamole and this is what I got. Chips out of a packet and a plastic container with a bit of chili. No cheese, no jalapenos, nothing. Costs S$17. If you order this I hope the guacamole makes it worth the while at least. Coney Island Hotdog was supposed to come with mustard, cheddar, beef and bean chilli on brioche bread. Costs S$14. What I got looks like it came from a convenience store or a petrol kiosk. A plain hotdog on a white bread bun. And for the beef chili guess I was supposed to scoop it out of the box of chili for the nachos. Don't order these. You may want to think twice about eating here - disappointing for the location and price point.

Not only was the food deserving of 5 stars, the service was amazing as well! When we first got there, they provided my dog a large bowl of iced water and some friendly pats:) We then ordered the beef burger which was well-seasoned, juicy and enough for my mother and I to share. We also ordered the nachos with beef which we both loved:)) We couldnt finish everything and decided to have the leftover nachos packed to go but they threw it away instead. We did not mind it but they went a step further to cook up brand new nachos for us to take home because to make up for it. If this isnt five star service i dont know what is. The food was enough to make us go back but the service won us a guaranteed return:))

They had many foreign beers on tap that's rare to find in Singapore. A plus, the bartender and Nani were super friendly!

Came here on a quiet night, but so nice and chill. Service was great, and so was the food. We got the beef and pulled pork burger, recommend the pulled pork. Was soooo nice ♥️ thank you! Pet friendly too, the service staff gave our dog water. Cleared our food. Beer was worth it.
