👍👍 A lovely experience. We went there to celebrate my partner's birthday and it was a great decision. I recommend the 3 appetizers platter and the desserts (particularly the tiramisu and cheesecake)! The service (waiter and chef) is great too! People often mention experience, pasta, good, service, dish, menu, great, Takada, dishes,

A decent experience. Food wasn't bad the execution was fine but for 4 courses at $138 and $50 corkage, I expected a bit more zing. Cosy environment though.

Undoubtedly the most exquisite Italian-Japanese Fusion I’ve ever experienced to date! Even 5 stars is an understatement to the quality of the entire experience. Each course was perfection, I was blown away at every bite! Definitely worth it for the price!

Very enjoyable meal. Service was on point and attentive. For the starters, smoked duck was great, although the sashimi tasted a bit too fishy. Pork confit was tender and nicely flavoured. Uni pasta was buttery and creamy. Desserts were alright. Overall a good experience! We had the 4 course at $68/pax.

An unassuming hidden gem tucked away at the ground floor of Alexis Condominum. Step inside and be prepared to have your taste buds ignited. The highlight of our meal was the "Tagliolini Hokkaido Sea Urchin pasta with Squid Ink Sauce". Each mouthful was a heavenly ballet of amazing flavours and textures in perfect harmony. Words cannot do justice as to how amazing this dish is. The Tiramisu Takada was pleasantly unexpected in both presentation and taste. It was the perfect ovation to a beautiful meal. We tried the "Takada Burnt Cheesecake with Sorbet" on our next visit, and it was so good we were already thinking of ordering it on our next visit. Chef Takada-san was very friendly and approachable on whatsapp when I asked if there were seats available as the online reservation site showed the restaurant was full/unavailable. Highly recommended!

Came here for Xmas and had their festive menu and it was really good!!! The service and food were both great and I would definitely be back to try the food again. My favorite dish was the lamb with foie.

Beautiful experience at Takada, but some reviews on how it’s an “exquisite fine-dining experience” definitely have some element of exaggeration thrown in. Firstly, I don’t think this is fine-dining, taking into consideration the ambience, service and also presentation of its food. It feels more like an elevated cosy family diner with semi-fancy plating. The food is definitely interesting and delicious but not as mind-blowing as we thought it would be. We were served Uni on our Uni Pasta that was not fresh and reeked from a distance away. But In their defence, they swiftly changed it when we provided our feedback. I thought the appetiser of its burrata, smoked duck and hamachi was the best, along with their buttered bread. The burnt cheesecake wasn’t bad at all too, along with the Pork Collar. We also liked the Lobster Almalfi pasta but the Uni Pasta was the greatest disappointment of the night. Pasta was done wonderfully al dente but lacking in taste. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I still had a fantastic night with my companion. But we probably would not return again.

We visited Takada again recently and they did not disappoint. On New Year’s Eve we enjoyed a 3 course set lunch that was delicious and the service was warm and good. I would definitely recommend this place.

I went there with my family for my mom’s birthday who loves Japanese culture and food. We asked the chef if we could have a more special menu instead of the Omakase menu, and he made a special menu for us. He also selected wines to go with the dishes, and everyone in the family was very satisfied. Chef would like to change the menu every month this year, so we’re looking forward to eating his food again!!

Top notch quality food in an unassuming setting. Walked in on a Fri evening without a reservation. The front of house service could be improved as there was some confusion over one of our pastas. Other than that, this is a gem that I hope will continue to thrive!

Wonderful meal with great dishes all round - a rare gem with delectable dishes all round. You would be hard pressed to find faults in any of the dishes presented. Rather high praise and definitely well deserving of the 4.6 star rating on Google. I came on a weekday lunch and it took about 1.5+ hours from start to end, not ideal if you're thinking of getting a quick bite. The staff were very apologetic for the wait and offered us a complimentary glass of chardonnay grape juice. If I had to choose, my favourite dish was the beef cheek. The tiramisu came in a close second. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely revisit.

One of the easiest 5 star I've rated. Food is good, and I appreciate the thought behind each dish, the plates that were used and the way the food is presented. Every ingredient is in harmony with each other. Service is great as well. And place is comfortable to dine in. Definitely falls into my list of hidden gems.

Food was exquisite! Ingredients were fresh, food well seasoned and the taste was unique. Ambience is cozy (makes you feel at home) which is really lovely. Would probably come back again.

Great food here - just that it falls a little below my expectations given the price I paid. There is artistry in the food - borrowing from the Chef's native Japanese cuisine. But Italian food is hearty and homey and I just feel something is missing

Haven’t had such excellent food in a while. We opted for the 3-course dinner on a weekday. Started with this cute cup of mushroom soup that looks deceiving like espresso but tasted so rich and earthy. We had a platter of appetisers, every piece was simply outdoing the previous. I chose the pork collar for the main and it came laid on a bed of purée, really beautiful and tender. My husband had the umi pasta with a squid ink dipping sauce. Pretty interesting presentation! Dessert was wonderful- both the basque cheesecake and tiramisu was executed well. Cheesecake was dense and not overly rich. We were here for our anniversary so the decoration was really heartwarming. Head chef was our server and he was very welcoming and informative.

Cosy restaurant with 3/4 course menus during lunch that are both tasty and filling. Some of the dishes felt like well done home dining (eg cappuccino mushroom soup) and others were decadent (like the A5 wagyu) - I’d say it’s worth a visit especially if you enjoy the Japanese-Italian fusion niche.

The appearance of the dishes might look simple, but the taste is really fantastic... Definitely worth going back again!

We chose an Italian for 2023 CNY reunion dinner. The set menu offers a good variety of pasta and mains if you opt for a 4 course dinner. There were 7 adults and 2 kids so we ordered a variety to try. The porcini soup in a cup was delicious, go slow sipping as it’s really hot. The lobster was over-cooked, the squid ink pasta was decent. The best was the kids carbonara and truffle bolognese and pesto scallop. We all loved the tiramisu and wasn’t crazy about the burnt cheesecake. Fish and beef as main were so good! They served us macarons with the gooseberry but I would have preferred madeleines. The restaurant needs a little minor repair to it’s false ceiling urgently as I can see mould and condensation as soften the false ceiling - there is a downlight that might fall off due to the weaken false ceiling.

Recently went there for a birthday celebration. The squid ink pasta, beef cheek and pork collar are amazing. The tiramisu dessert didn’t disappoint either! Good service, good food and nice ambiance.

A belated birthday lunch treat from my sisters at Ristorante Takada. It was absolutely delightful! My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed this gastronomic experience. Every dish was masterfully crafted and curated like gorgeous fireworks. We appreciate the unassuming ambience as it allowed us to completely immerse in the dining experience; unforgettable.

Thought I will be blown away based on the many rave reviews here. The pasta was average. The mains were better. As for pricing - I think it's a bit steep for the food offering. $88++ for 3 appetisers, one main or pasta and one dessert.

Am here to try their restaurant menu dinner meals. It did not disappoint us. Delicious Italian cuisine infuse with Japanese elegant element in every dish. The wait staff are friendly and attentive.
