Modern Asian-European fusion dishes worth trying ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถโœจ Paid a visit to this award-winning cocktail bar and restaurant ๐Ÿฅ‚ Helmed by Chef Kenneth Oh (World Gourmet Summit Singapore Rising Chef), the food at @tessbarsg doesnโ€™t disappoint! ๐Ÿ† We triedโ€ฆ ๐ŸŒŸ ๐—ข๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ฃ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐—ผ ($๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿด) Served with shaved truffle and parmesan, this dish is a MUST TRY ๐ŸคŒ The pasta perfectly captures the kale pesto sauce, delivering a burst of flavour in every bite. My only complaint? I wished there was more ๐Ÿฅน ๐ŸŒŸ ๐—ฃ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ ๐—๐—ผ๐˜„๐—น ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ ($๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿญ) Breaking into the poached egg ๐Ÿณ the rich yolk melds with crispy guanciale and creamy pecorino sabayon creating a symphony of flavour. Sprinkled with crispy bits and cashews, this is served with miso cheese sauce and garden herbs ๐Ÿชด๐Ÿฅฆ Overall, we enjoyed the food! Donโ€™t miss out the orecchiette ๐Ÿ’ซ Only gripe is that the portions are slightly smaller If youโ€™re a big eater, you might want to consider ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ต ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐˜. What food, what a chill place! Great ambience, if a tad cold, great music, great food. The lamb short ribs were superb, tender enough to use a spoon, crusty skin, lovely fat layer. While everything is good, the lamb is die die must try. Had two servings! The camembert and garlic bread is also a stand out.

Great service, drinks offering, and eats. The items were priced much better than expected compared to other similar places and given that the location is on Seah St. I would definitely come here again. I liked all the dishes we ordered.

Loved the food and the service and the cocktails. Atmosphere was a little noisy.... after awhile, It gets a bit much. Most like cause the decor is industrial so sound reverberates.... maybe some additional tapestries or pillows to soften the din. Apart from that food is lovely! Every dish was on point

Made reservations for 4 pax on the day itself. Process was fuss-free and replies were prompt! Ordered the pork jowl linguine (a little salty for my liking), seafood stew, fried chips (this is mid, but maybe just cause Iโ€™m not a potato fan), fried calamari (well-fried, batter was nice), and roasted cauliflower. Food was yummy, and size was decent! Dishes that stood out to me were definitely the seafood stew (the bread with the stew is soooo good!) and cauliflower. For drinks, we ordered: apple beer (n/a), chai melon (n/a), singapore sling, nara 75, espresso martini. Espresso martini and chai melon are my top picks! Although the bgm was a little loud and it was difficult to have conversations at times, the overall ambience was still nice, and we were served by a very friendly waitress (didnโ€™t manage to get her name). If I have to pick on somethingโ€ฆ I was a little surprised when another waitress started clearing the drinks on our tables without asking. Thankfully we were done with our drinks, but I just thought itโ€™d be good practice to ask patrons first before clearing. Would highly recommend to my friends and come back again ๐Ÿ˜Š

Had an amazing time at Tess! Many alcohol selection with unique cocktails. We were there to try most their cocktails, and none of them disappoint us! Definitely a place to bring friends to try all their finger foods! Food portion were big for its price point. Oyster were big and fresh. Superb time for the 2 of us. โ˜บ๏ธ

My favorite bar in bugis. I love the food, it's fantastic. The take away is good enough, but I would recommend it even more to eat it fresh in the restaurant. All the staff are friendly.

The food here was incredible. I really enjoyed every single item that we ordered. We had the Caesar salad, which was a simple and perfect blend of fresh ingredients - I especially loved the touch of quail egg in the salad! The seafood stew was so delicious! There was a nice smokiness about it too and the mash of ingredients in the sauce made it extremely appetising! I couldnโ€™t stop eating the sauce even after finishing all the seafood! But the most impressive dish for me was the oven baked bone marrow! There are some truffles, bits of meat, caramelised onions on the marrow and they pair perfectly well with the yummy bread thatโ€™s served with it! Canโ€™t wait to come back and try more food! Definitely one of my better food experiences recently! Service and ambience were great too!

Hosted our wedding lunch party at Tess in November. It was all that we could ask for and more. โค๏ธ Special shout out to Peirong, the bar manager, who was accommodating to all of our ridiculous requests, and went out of her way to make sure the day ran smoothly. Christyne, the head bartender, together with the rest of the crew were amazing as well. Food wise, all our guests had raving reviews about them. Our mains included the pork jowl linguine, lamb short rib, Norwegian salmon and the duck confit. They were all amazing. Our personal favourites were the lamb short ribs, the oysters and the crackling pork belly. The pork jowl linguine was yummy too. Portions were on the bigger side. We want to thank Tess for letting us host our wedding there and also to letting us decor the place. It was a magical experience. Best decision ever.

If you have been in Singapore for a while and havenโ€™t heard or been to this place, you probably have not explored enough cocktail joints! One of the most well known places for a good fancy cocktail and especially well known for their well curated food menu, always a good time for a meal and drinks!

Tess Bar is an if you know, you know kind of establishment, but there sure are a lot of folks who know about this place. And itโ€™s all for a good reasons. We visited on Christmas and we were given a booklet of featured cocktails, including award winning ones. We started light with refreshing Naka 75 and Gold Rush, paired with Wagyu Beef starter and King Prawn Risotto main. The wagyu beef was a fantastic appetiser and the risotto was superb, with very fresh, succulent, sweet prawn. Then it crescendoes when we ordered our second and third drink. We decided to go with something heavier, a regular old fashioned and their award winning Brown Grouse Old Fashioned. While their regular old fashioned has no fault, the Brown Grouse Old Fashioned was on another level. It was a perfect blend of smokey on the nose, with chocolate bitters and roasted almond note that perfumes the drink like a premium coffee bean does, leaving just a hint of sherry at the end. Paired with the Baked Camembert, it left our dining experience on a high note. Thank you to the team at Tess Bar who were all working extra hard even on Christmas Day!

I love love love Tess. A great selection of food and drink. Everything Iโ€™ve been served has been delicious. Special mention: The chips in particular are possibly one of the best Iโ€™ve had in town. Service is also quick and attentive. Iโ€™ve been back so many times over the years and will continue to come back. Perfect for friends, family, dates, etc. Make a reso cos it can get busy especially on the weekend.

Long Review Alert! ๐Ÿ˜‚ A friend of ours who enjoys the art of cocktail mixing and is highly knowledgeable in that took us here. So, when it comes as a recommendation from him the expectations were high! Drinks were amazing, tried different styles of cocktails and enjoyed a lot most of them. Food was decent portions, I quite enjoyed the vegetarian options. The atmosphere is cozy, and decor is nice! However, a perfectly fun night was interrupted by an extremely rude behavior from one of the temp staff (we were told she is temp later). Our friend went to the bar to chat with the bartender on some of the drinks when the ladies were away and apparently, he placed his elbow on this girl's laptop inadvertently. Then she went full on crazy towards our friend, acting pompous making a scene about how he invaded her space. A bit later, she was seen hugging few staff while complaining and stomping out from the place in all high and mighty. We were watching the entire situation from our table and couldn't believe our eyes or what was happening. Our friend was nice enough and didn't react in any way but the rest of us had to. The rest of the staff eventually apologized and brought some shots as an apology, but to be fair that is not enough. He didn't destroy anything or hurt anyone, and it certainly wasn't on purpose and yet the level of rudeness and tantrum was unnecessary! P.S. I rarely share stories like this let alone in a review, but this was way beyond ridiculous!

Very poor choice if you're looking for delivery. Food came more than half an hour early when nobody was at home. By the time we could eat it it was cold and borderline inedible. But that's not what I'm writing this review for; I understand the difficulties restaurants face with deliveries. I'm writing this review because I emailed them multiple times for a response but I never received so much as an acknowledgement, much less an apology, despite multiple follow-ups. So anyone considering delivery from this place, just know that you'll receive zero support or service should anything go wrong.

I came with a group of 6 and as they werenโ€™t big eaters we did not opt to have the buffet. We still ordered a few dishes to share but had each had our own mains. I probably made a very poor decision and this affected my rating. I went for the duck confit dish without reading all that much although I did a lot scrambled eggs as part of the dish. I didnโ€™t think all that much and when I received the dish I wasnโ€™t sure what I was having. It felt like a chicken and waffle dish but with duck. The duck while crispy on the outside was pretty dry and tough as I dug further into the meat. The waffle was extremely tough, nothing Iโ€™ve ever had and definitely not how I like my waffle. Needless to say, I felt very letdown by this which was my main. It didnโ€™t help that my friends ordered the beef cheeks and it looked so good. I did enjoy the sides especially the pork ribs. The sauces that were provided with the sides were also unique and commendable instead of the standard tomato chilli mayo sort of condiments. The cocktails were also well priced, although the portions are small and not the most aesthetic in terms of presentation. All in all, I would still want to come back and try the buffet sometime.

Went on 01.09.2023 for brunch Finally tried their Boozy Brunch Buffet, that came with free-flow cocktails/beers/wines on top of unlimited servings of brunch food items/small plates/desserts for a time limit of 2.5 hours ๐Ÿคค (priced at S$98++ per pax) Food quality was top-notch ๐Ÿ˜‹ โ–ช๏ธSlow-cooked Angus Beef Cheek Beef was tender and flavourful. Onsen egg (instead of poached egg that's stated in the menu) was done nicely. Creamy mash was smooth. Broccolini was fresh with a nice crunch and slightly salty taste. โ–ช๏ธBroiled Mentaiko Salmon Salmon was slightly dry at the ends but generally done well, topped with generous serving of mentaiko and tobiko. Smoked mash, edamame and drizzles (olive oil and balsamic vinegar?) matched the salmon nicely. โ–ช๏ธCioppino Seafood Stew Tomato broth was addictive but not too overwhelming, and dipping the garlic toast in it brought out the flavours even more. Seafood was fresh. โ–ช๏ธGlazed Spring Lamb Shoulder The lamb did have some gaminess, but the sauce and pomegranate bits managed to cover it up nicely. Meat was tender too with decent amount of fats. Onion mash was smooth. Kale was fresh. โ–ช๏ธTess Warm Salad Generous serving of walnuts, kale and baby corn, accompanied by toasted butternut squash, cherry tomatoes and dijon dressing. Delicious! โ–ช๏ธCaesar Salad Baby romaine came with lotsa crispy bacon bits, quail eggs and sourdough croutons, matched with smoky anchovy dressing. โ–ช๏ธDouble Fried Chunk Chips with Truffle Aioli Really chunky chips that were fried well. Truffle aioli was yummy, but perhaps can do without the chopped spring onions (my personal preference). โ–ช๏ธGrilled Lamb Short Ribs Similar to the lamb shoulder, the meat did have some gaminess but was covered up by the pomegranate bits and sauce. โ–ช๏ธPan Roasted Cauliflower This came as a big whole roasted cauliflower with miso cheese sauce, cashews and anchovy crumbs. Better to be shared with more pax. โ–ช๏ธOven Baked Camembert Love the truffle paste in between the baked camembert. Garlic toast better to be eaten warm, as the sides became slightly hard when left for awhile. โ–ช๏ธDark Chocolate Lava Cake Normal standard for the lava cake served with icecream. โ–ช๏ธAlmond Parfait Portion was bigger than what I expected, and came with lotsa honeycomb and raspberry coulis. Yummy! Cocktails were decent ๐Ÿธ We tried almost all the cocktails available in the buffet menu, and they were all quite good. Service was mediocre ๐Ÿ™ƒ Not exactly welcoming, and made us feel awkward for ordering more food items when it was supposed to be a buffet. Except for a staff named Peirong, the only genuinely nice and sincere one around. Ambience was cosy โ›…๏ธ If not considering the loud group of patrons present that day, plus a bartender that kept throwing/slamming things around or into the sink throughout, making loud noises that were very apparent when sat next to the bar counter. Will I go back again? ๐Ÿค” I probably will, solely for the food and free-flow cocktails coz it was still worth the amount paid. And I will choose a table further away from the bar counter ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Had an enjoyable brunch at Tess with my friend. Definitely come with an empty stomach as the food is standard size and they are yummy. Our server is very friendly and knowledgeable about each dish as she has been with a restaurant for a long time. The ingredients and taste, the amount of food, and also because my friend has a good appetite, we were able to enjoy 8 dishes, 2 desserts and multiple drinks, which gives a positive perception of good cost performance. Went on a Friday and there was not much crowd, which gave a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Relatively hidden gem tucked away in between other shop houses but unmistakably beautiful and unique when you step in. Came here with a friend for their brunch buffet and it is absolutely worth it. For the price point and the wide selection it almost felt like a steal. But that doesnt diminish the food quality at all. The star of the show has to be the roasted pork belly. Crispy and fatty without the meat being dry unlike its other contemporaries. Their lamb shanks were absolutely amazing as well, fall of the bone tender with an unctuous, lightly gamey sauce. I'm already finding a day I can go back with a couple more friends to try their whole menu:)

Very good cocktails here. I tried: 1. Brown Grouse Old-Fashioned (award winning cocktail created by the bartender herself) 2. Boulevardier Sourz 3. Earl Grey Negroni Food recommendation: 1. Yellowfin Tuna Tataki 2. Sakura Ebi Capellini - although I am allergic to prawn, I was slurping the pasta happily without worrying the consequences.

Tess bar and kitchen offers a weekend alecarte brunch with items well priced. Portions are not huge but great for sharing. You can also opt in for the all you can eat option for $48++ inclusive of non-alcoholic drinks. There is a option for free flow alcohol too which is a great option. Else the drinks are also well priced under between $10-$15. Definitely worth coming back and having a lazy decadent lunch. The lamb ribs are a winner!

Brought my brother here for his birthday and he was super happy (and full) after the late lunch buffet. Honestly everything we ordered was just delicious; the deep fried calamari and zucchini was well seasoned and delightfully crispy, the angus beef meatballs was juicy and flavorful, the angus beef cheek was fall-off-the-fork tender and perfectly complemented by the creamy mash and poached egg. My brother practically inhaled the grilled lamb short ribs and was raving about them and the mentaiko salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. A testament to a teenage boyโ€™s appetite, we managed to order the truffle Alfredo pasta which was a large plate of delicious umami flavors. I was honestly beyond stuffed by then but we rallied ourselves and my brother ordered not one but, two desserts; tiramisu and dark chocolate lava cake. Both were good but my brother loved the tiramisu. Service was great and friendly, and we didnโ€™t wait long for the food to be served. For the prices we paid and the amount and quality of food we got, weโ€™d definitely be back again.

One of the OG bars that requires a reservation to get a seat. The service is very good here and the staff are very attentive. We had cocktails, mock tails and a lot of food. All the food was good but the lamb ribs were a standout. The fat was charred and just really next level. Can understand why this place is so packed. Good food, good drinks and good service.

We went there after read its high rating and it worth to try. Food is very nice, the pork belly is super tasty, almost the best have ever tried in Singapore. All food are in small portion, so we ordered 4 dishes for two. The only thing is the bar is not as big as showed on picture, and pretty crowded inside, you have to chat in low voices as the neighbor is less than an elbow away. No music in the weekdays so very quite inside. Maybe it'll be more music or vibrant in the weekend?

Had the brunch buffet and it was nothing short of fantastic! Every dish was executed so well and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there. Highlights include the pork jowl linguine, orecchiette pasta with kale pesto, calamari, lamb short ribs and the grilled kurobuto pork sausage. There was also a special of the week roast beef dish that was absolutely delicious! Service is wonderful with friendly and enthusiastic staff. Been back three times and weโ€™re already planning our next visit!

Love the grilled lamb and baked cauliflower. Many good dishes worth trying - ideally with 3-4 pax. Whisky-based cocktails are my favourite, other signatures / gin based are too sweet / light to my liking. Place is cozy but can be noisy depending on the seating. My peace and enjoyment was disturbed by a big group who were loud speakers. Assistant manager Andy is very friendly and offers good advices on menu.

1st visit and will not be our last! We came for the bottomless brunch, didn't know what to expect for the price, but wow, it was amazing! The food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. You can choose from the main menu as much food and drinks in to alloted time. Can't wait to come back, one of the best value brunches in Singapore.

The Brunch Buffet is supremely good. Usually, the buffet portions are made smaller than the Ala carte portions in restaurants like this, but the portions we had today is really generous. Most, if not all of the food is very well done. Quality is high and is definitely worth spending your brunch hours here. The alcohol is great as well, with lots of fancy cocktails and high quality wine. I took the non-alcoholic brunch buffet and the coffee is also really wonderful. BRB. Gonna pass out in a food coma soon.

Had the pork belly, fish collar and mushroom risotto. Ah yes, it was so delicious I could feel my cholesterol levels rising up especially with every bite of the crispy pork belly. Cocktail choices was very extensive and the concoctions were out of this world. Service staff was friendly and very helpful, ambience was lovely and I'd definitely visit again!

We had ordered from Tess Bar & Kitchen a few times during the circuit breaker. Their delivery fee was reasonable compared to many of the other restaurants. Each time we ordered, we were always happy with the quality (& quantity) of the food, and so far we have tried most of the items on the menu, but my favourite go to is the orrechiette, which is yummy and comforting. We finally went to Tess on a Wednesday night. For some reason, trying to make reservations by telephone did not work, but an email to them was responded to very promptly. Although we arrived to the restaurant an hour early, our table had already been marked out and reserved for us and the staff were welcoming and flexible. A young guy (whose name I didn't catch, apologies) had been serving us, and he was one of the most polite and professional wait staff i've encountered. In fact, all the wait staff we encountered that night were friendly and courteous. And come the best part of the night, I ordered 3 drinks, the Yuzu Thyme and the Cherry Cacao twice. Both were really yummy, but the cherry cacao in particular, reminded me of my favourite cadbury chocolate bar, cherry ripe. And so, having finally found my favourite drink in Singapore, i'm looking forward to the next time I get to go to Tess again. oh, side note though, the bar stools were really hard and a tad bit uncomfortable to sit on with the hole design thing going on. But small issue and I definitely have enough cushioning of my own.

Excellent lamb shoulder - both the quality of the meat (fresh, meaty, tender, juicy) and the nicely combined flavours that went well with the lamb. The minestrone soup of the day was packed with vegetables but wasnโ€™t as outstanding as the lamb. The flat white wasnโ€™t as good as it used to be when they used Papa Palheta beans - now at best average.

Best boozy brunch deal in Singapore. You get to order from nearly their entire regular menu, drinks include martinis and even spirits, service is great (Peirong and her team are always so welcoming), and it's 3 hours AYCE. Check this spot out!

Honestly the place has so much potential.. evident by the crowd outside. But as someone who doesn't smoke it was quite a turn off to sit indoors and have to smell the cigarette smoke way inside at our table because they just kept the door open and smoke was drifting in ... Making the place smell like a cheap bar But the drinks were okay for the price and service was good

Hi, today is 2020 New Year's Eve and we had a glorious meal from Tess. Knowing there would be a mad rush for food on NYE, we ordered about 2 weeks before. We had beef, pork, lamb chops, seafood, lasagne and veg. It was a fantastically simple yet incredibly tasty meal which words find it hard to describe but try to describe it I must, the crunch of the top layer of lasagne down to the creamy sauce it was awesome, I must admit to having a weakness for lasagne, anyway enjoy the pictures.

We had no expectations when we pass by but turn out to be blown away by a very pleasant dinner & good table service. Will definitely return soon.

We came here for cocktails. Yet the food surprised us. They offered the biggest oysters I had in sg. Focaccia pizza is quite special which is bread-based. Do remember to check the rating when ordering the cocktails, they are rated for a good reason. Don't order Rosรฉ, not nice at all. Will come back to try more food and cocktails for sure.

I'm once again back at this place. And this time I tried the lunch martini buffet. It is so worth it. The martinis are indeed well crafted with balanced and unique flavours. I love their lychee grapefruit as well as honey umeshu flavours. I ordered a camembert and wow they gave half a friggin wheel of the cheese. Their minestrone soup tastes very wholesome with lots of veges and chick peas. The seafood stew was nice and adequately thick though I wasn't really full on it. 10/10 recommend to check this place out. Hopefully Tess bar stays like that forever

Generous portions, especially the Pan Roasted Cauliflower. Quite a nice rendition of this vegetable. Lobster Tagliatelle with kombu butter sauce is good for sharing as it may get a bit heavy and if you ordered the cheesy cauliflower too. Weย  came before 7pm just in time before happy hour end. Each person is entitled to additional 1 drink on hold on happy hour prices, think this is a very good gesture on the restaurant. Will prefer a slightly brighter ambience and it is rather funny at 1030pm where they suddenly up the brightness of the lights announcing closure. Much like credits rolling haha..

Finally made a visit after reading rave reviews from friends on Instagram. Must say that the food did not disappoint. I thought everything was delicious, well-balanced in flavour. My partner felt the Angus beef tagliatelle was a little under-salted, but I found it perfect for me. We loved the seafood stew! Wished there was more bread to mop up the stew with. He also had the cocktail, Snorkeling in Boracay, which I took a sip of (am allergic to alcohol hahaha) and it was delicious). The crispy chicken skin was a pleaser, fun to eat, although I am not a Kimchi nor ketchup fan. Should have alternative dips, please!

We booked a table on 22nd August. I have been there here before 2 times cuz of my friend liked it. Their service never been amazing. Just so so. Foods so so. It is just convenient to come down from Naumi hotel. I had reservation confirmation email. I booked at 12:15. They can wait until 12:30 as per their email. We reached at 12:30. The staff saw us, she seemed busy. So we wait awhile. She never came back. We walked in and said we have reservation at 12:15, are we late ? She said there is no my name on the list. I showed her my confirmation email. She said I have no idea, I donโ€™t do the planning. So what can we do ? She didnโ€™t seem care much or feel bad. I said it is ok. She acted like she had no idea and this had nothing to do with her type of attitude. We walked out, one sec right after we left, I received email that they cancelled my reservation. I mean โ€œWTF ?โ€ They have no my name on it and they canceled me right in front of me. NEVER COMING BACKโ€ฆ..

Great food (delivery) 2021-07-27 (gst not included) Pan Roasted Cauliflower $14 - Excellent. The cheesy sauce and baked cashews went wonderfully. The cauliflower was done to just the right texture. Will definitely order more of this in the future. Deep Fried Calamari & Zucchini $14 - The breading was still decent after delivery, however the calamari was very tough. Cioppino Seafood Stew $20 - Flavorful and came with great garlic bread. Angus Beef Tagliatelle $20 - Beef was very tender, like braised beef cheek. The pasta was rather average. Forest Mushroom Risotto $20 - The texture did not meet expectations, perhaps this is due to delivery. Delivery cost $10

Legit the one of the better bars in Singapore. Considering the price + quality + ambiance = Tess Bar is TOP notch. Their oysters are affordable and incredibly fresh (HUGE TOO!) Iโ€™d recommend to try them. There are limited places in SG that doesnโ€™t shortchange you and this place is one of emโ€™. One perk is you get to watch Bartenders work their magic - itโ€™s mesmerising ๐Ÿ˜

Love this place and served quite amazing food and drinks. Lots of drinks to choose from and come before 7pm to enjoy some good deals on happy hour drinks.. wine have pretty good deal ! $10 per 150ml glass.. do order the crispy pork belly a must to try .. melting in your mouth and the skin is still crispy! The chicken Karaage is so so .. too dry inside to my liking . Prefer the more briny oyster instead ! Table is rather too small for us to order 4 dishes and served at one go. Do pace it that something restaurant needs to pay attention to in my view. Enjoyed the vibe here and great service !

Not really a place that would give you value for money but they have a decent menu for meat eaters (not so much for vegetarians). Heard so much about this place and decided to check it out. The crispy pork belly and the sauce was amazing. Best I've ever had. The sticky date pudding was good but could have had more sticky date.... Drinks were ok, their 3stars drink, which is supposed to be strong was very mild. I could have given this place 5 stars but their service needs work. For a long while, we were trying to get someone's attention to order drinks but as can be seen from picture, 2 of their staff was basically on their phone. Another service guy was bz drinking with other customers...and we had to wait quite a while before someone came to us.

Excellent food and drinks here! We managed to hit happy hour and tried a few of their fancy cocktails. In all honesty, the starters hit the spot better than the mains (pasta and seafood smth..) 5 of us shared 2 mains, and 4 starters. And we each had one drink too. $50/pax approx spending.

  • 4/5 Julia L. 11 months ago on Google
Lovely food, and cheap cocktails $12. Though the drinks are light, they're well thought, and carries personality! ๐Ÿธ Dropped by for some quick bites at Tess, and it didn't disappoint. Would love to come back and try their buffet next time. Crispy pork jowl linguini (8/10) Basically a carbonara made with linguini. Loved the richness, and cheese. The panko breadcrumb toppings were a nice touch for texture. Noodles were aldante, and on point. Do note that the pork jowl are the long thin strips featured in the photos, and they're on the drier, and saltier end. Oven baked camembert (8/10) The bread was oh so crispy, and had fluffy middles. The garlicky flavours went delightfully well with the creamy camembert. Truffles are rather overwhelming, while paired with the bread. As the cheese block was generous. It would have been nice to have some plain bread or fruits to compliment the remaining cheese.
