Ambience was very chill and relaxing to be in, staffs were all rather friendly and nice. Truffle fries were alright nothing fantastic but I really liked that it was thick cut and portion was really quite generous. The two spaghetti (forgotten the name) that we ordered were quite disappointing. Flavours were rather bland although presentation looked really fantastic. Truffle Risotto was not bad for the first few bites, and then it got too overpowering. In my opinion, would not come back again for the food for that price point :( You can get much better food in the vacinity as well.

Update: Went for another meal with family this time. For a place that targets female customers, they should seriously consider getting baskets for the ladies to place their bags. Chicken burger was crispy and juicy. Mushroom risotto was average. Mac and Cheese was ok too. Super yummy experience with wonderful patient service. Made a reservation for 6 through the website. Unfortunately, only 4 of us could make it but I couldn’t seem to change the reservation or call through. It made me feel bad as we didn’t want to take up space that could be given to others. Tried 2 starters. The special seasonal onion tarte tartin was goooood. If you’ve never had a tarte tartin, it’s a good one to start with. They were very generous with the truffle sauce. The baked feta cheese and prawns came on a hot skillet and was fantastic. Lots of cherry tomatoes which were super sweet. Very good balance of flavours. Mains My niece ordered the Truffle beef burger which she said was really good and filling. It came with fries and salad veggies on the side The cold truffle capellini was served with scallops. Felt that it could have been colder when served. The scallop and prawn pasta was gorgeous. Wonderful simple flavours. The brick chicken was good. A huge protein meal with roasted baby potatoes and other veggies. Kudos to the kitchen, the veggies didn’t taste like veggies at all, and my kids finished everything on the plate. The serving of sauce was also generous and ample enough for the entire plate of meat. Service staff was very patient and answered all my qns with regards to the triple three membership thing. I didn’t give them the fifth star because of the drinks. Somehow, all 4 of us couldn’t seem to find anything to drink. Not sure why. Maybe the price point was too high

Wait time is about 20 mins maybe because it is a weekday around 3 plus😊The service is good. We ordered the lemon cake and that was good. It is sweet but coupled with the lemon, it was just nice. Many people ordered the sticky dessert with ice cream. I agree it is very nice with the ice cold ice cream blended with the warm sauce and cake. You should try it😃

This will be my new favorite place for tea. The service is good and fast, staff is ever so polite and accommodating. We came by this place to sit and chill after a whole day of walking around in Orchard. The staff was very friendly and welcoming even though the place was quite crowded. I ordered a iced cucumber mint tea and my friend ordered a juice and we shared a lemon meringue cake. The juice was so refreshing on a hot day. The lemon meringue cake was not too overly sweet, thankfully, and not too dry not moist. I would have loved to have tasted more lemon zests in the cake itself, but overall, I was very happy with the food quality. I am looking forward to the next time when I visit and order their mains.

The Mac and cheese skillet is pretty good and piping hot, a likeable preference. As for the crab meat pasta, the crab meat are shredded and quite tomatoey. We also ordered the gooey chocolate cake which was too thick and heavy. Will be much better if there's vanilla ice cream to balance it out - marmalade pantry pls read this and add it as a menu option will be a godsent!! There was a short queue, and we got seated outside, which is much better as its more lit up! One of the male staff was also quite friendly and likeable, made a few jokes with us which we enjoyed haha. Overall, the crab meat pasta was alright but will def head back for the mac and cheese again! Cheers!

Caught up with a friend for lunch at this centrally located ION restaurant with also offer an open-concept dining. Specializing in Western cuisine, their seafood spaghetti, adorned with generous scallops, was delightful. As a fan of bold flavors, I felt the Crabmeat spaghetti could use a bit more sauce and spice.

Tried the Hokkaido sea urchin pasta which is on the holiday menu. It was delicious though the taste of the sea urchin was not that obvious. Also ordered the pan seared Alaskan cod fish. The fish itself was rather bland without much seasoning but meshes well with sides such as cauliflower puree, long beans and tomato. Blueberry cake was light and flavourful. Service was pretty good, friendly and prompt. Overall a nice dining experience and will return again to try other dishes.

The Marmalade Pantry’s strength lies in their Biophilic interior design concept. Plants are strategically placed around the cafe which enhanced and highlighted it’s relaxing environment. Of course, this comes with a price. The price to portion ratio was on the high side for cakes and lattes which tasted just slightly better than average. Service was not bad but not exceptional, drinks took around 20 mins to arrive. Overall, don’t let the high price discourage you from visiting The Marmalade Pantry but do be prepared for only slightly better-than-average tasting cakes.

Cannot seem to wrap my head around why anyone would queue to dine here. While the ambience is alright, the food is very subpar for its price point. The only dish I enjoyed was the carbonara that was rich and creamy. Otherwise, the burger patty was dry and grainy and the burger itself did not pack much flavour. Grateful that we could change the fries to sweet potato ones or else the burger dish would have made me mad. For the same price or less, you can get a larger and better sticky date pudding over at P.S. Cafe! Service was quite terrible as we were tucked away in a corner and had to physically walk over to get the staff’s attention. When we asked one of the staff what he would recommend for us to eat, he shrugged and said that he did not know.

Food is good, but somewhat over priced. The sticky date pudding with toffee is a must have. Book in advance or be prepared to queue for table during peak hours.

Portion of the food were decent. Taste of the cafe latte was very normal. Service was pretty attentive. Pricing was a bit at the high side. I reckon maybe is because is at town area. Quite a good place to chill though.

The mushroom truffle soup and carbonara are nice. Pan seared Barramundi not exactly super fresh and the sides on it not what I really liked. The high tea set is interesting but we didn’t finish it. Prices are a tad high for my “Heartlander” self but expected I guess from this location. But honestly can get equally nice or even better food elsewhere much cheaper.

The place was almost full even on a weekday between lunch and dinner timing! I like that ordering and payment is all done online. Food wise - portion and presentation was good, fresh ingredients. Taste was okay - honestly nothing to shout about. Iced cappuccino was so good though. Staffs were polite and attentive. When my food was served, the staff bothered to ask if I needed any sauce, which I did. Nice place to hang out with friends. Would come back!

Keep coming back. Good food , good service, classy ambience, good value for money . They have good promotions as well for members which is worth taking up and use the coupons for further saving at various branches and other chains around the island. Tried the crispy skin salmon and Barramundi , very well prepared . The Bread Butter pear pudding was great as well. The overall experience is good enough to make you return .

Tried their truffle mushroom soup, spicy crabmeat linguine and gula melaka lava cake. Feel that it would be better if there are no pine nuts in the crabmeat linguine as it is too much, you literally can eat like half a tablespoon of pine nuts every mouth. It would be nicer if there are lesser pine nuts as it covers the taste of the sauce.

Comfortable and nice ambience for a fine meal at Ion Orchard. Had the steak and seafood spaghetti and both didn’t disappoint. The steak is juicy and cooked perfectly to my liking. The spaghetti is delicious with generous portion of fresh seafood. Probably explain why noted most of the people were having the seafood spaghetti.

Service was good. Food wise, delicious, but the portion was really small for the prices they charge. Desserts were pretty and yummy, also more pricey than average. Definitely a place for Instagramers, for good ambience, and tais tais but not just for the food. Do make a reservation before you go since the queue can be quite long especially on weekends. Triple+ 1-for-1 deals help a lot!

aesthetic place that is suitable for taking pictures! the kimchi fried rice was great but the portion is more suitable for sharing. the barramundi was average, nothing to complain about. service staff were all very pleasant and friendly as well! however, waiting time for the food was long.

Quiet teatime break at Ion, fuss free ordering and payment via QR code. Both the Flat white and Latte were done right, coffee was fragrant. Highly recommend the Sticky Date Pudding! Vanilla icecream was aromatic, sticky date pudding was soft & moist, toffee sauce served warm and just the right amount of sweetness. Pricey but worth the try. Only part to improve was the table placemat as both my partner and I had papercuts from it.

The best things for me are the cupcakes which were delectable. The goat cheese salad was superb, too. For mains, we ordered the pesto sandwich which was a huge portion, and Steak Kimchi Rice which was okay. For a restaurant that sits in the walkway of a mall, prices are too high, though service was friendly and attentive. I will probably go back for more of their cupcakes 🧁

The chocolate cake was huge and a bit much for a single person to take on without risking diabetes. Definitely good to share and quite a nice place to bring a friend and catch up while sharing desserts. Not a lot of privacy though as tables are close.

My experience at Marmalade Pantry ION Orchard was disappointing due to rude staff and average food. The prawns were overcooked, and the chicken focaccia sandwich was stale, served with a poor-quality salad without dressing. Additionally, the requirement to pay upfront meant paying for unsatisfactory dishes in advance. I cannot recommend this place based on my visit.

octopus is great , well seared and seasoned👍🏻 food plated beautifully and staff are very friendly . They offered drinks the moment you sit down But.... the potatoes the octopus slices were sitting on have an unpleasant tangyness to it ,lacks flavour, and overall are not exactly palatable... Kimchi fried rice lacks umami and the sirloin slices topping it are very chewy even at medium. It saddens me to say pop and mom korean stores make better kimchi fried rice than this Cant finish both dishes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ although we tried to stick to our Asian principle of not wasting food At its price point, does not warrant how the food taste even with the ambience amd good service combined

Went on a weekday lunch, prompt ordering service, food and drinks were served fast. Ordered the crispy salmon, it was really good, salmon was well marinated and really crispy! Enjoyed my lunch and will be back again to try their other mains.

We were there just for dessert. It was pretty good. Gave it 4 stars because the service could of being better. Around 21:15 (45 min before closing) and with some cake left on the plate as we were sharing food. While we were still chatting, the staff came over and just clear all our plates without checking with us.

We had high tea there and also ordered a 1-for1 main course with the membership. The fish came not well cooked, and after we gave the feedback, they replaced it with another slice of fish but without the original sauce and vegetables! So u get fish "kosong"! 😅😅 (it tasted good actually!)

There was a long queue to the restaurant but it was worth it! Tried the sweet potato fries, truffle fries and their rib eye steak (medium well). Food tastes good and I enjoyed it thoroughly! Service was prompt and staff were friendly which was nice. Price wise, is on the higher end, but I guess since it's in ION and for the quality. Came here with my family, the seating was comfortable. I would reccomend if you are coming here, don't drive, the ION carpark is small and we had to wait for some time to get a parking space.

Mamalade Pantry, Ion Orchard: MP needs no introduction for the tai tai’s and cafe lovers. Outlet after outlet, you can expect plush haute ambience with fabulous food. It’s one of those feel-good places. I am not a fan of cafes in malls but this is good enough. Parked outside one of my fav stores Crate and Barrel, you can expect their signature big buncha flowers. I was there in the a.m, and sinfully decided on a precious rose raspberry cupcake. It’s too beautiful for chewing and I let it sit there for a while as the coffee was downed. #eatstylishtravelstylish

Taste: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Affordability: 4/5(because Orchard) Will I come back again?: Maybe not the Orchard outlet Came for coffee and cakes on a weekend tea-time hours. Everywhere was full and we decided to try Marmalade Pantry out. No problem finding seats(we were a table of 7), we were sat down by a bigger-sized waitress. Whom she had a black face and was very rude when she asked if we wanted water. We had to ask each other who wanted ice water or warm water and she got so impatient, roll her eyes and showed attitude like we owe her something. Really spoil the mood as we wanted to relax after walking around Orchard. Everyone got coffee and the coffee was good, the cakes not as much depends on what you get. We also got a fresh pressed apple juice for the kid but it was very sour for him to drink. We got the Berriolette Shortcake and The Marmalade Carrot cake. The shortcake was average and the carrot cake was just too dense. The cream cheese frosting was so thick. Have tried better carrot cakes out there. Price wise, average for a cafe in Orchard.

Tl;dr - pricy but fairly good. Mushroom soup is good. Chicken is good. Risotto is okay. Carrot cake is good but a bit dry. ------------------------------ Ordered the Truffle Mushroom Soup, Spring Chicken with Couscous, Mushroom Risotto, and The Marmalade Carrot Cake. General Seating – They have two seating areas, one within the ‘unit’ and another in the middle ‘open’ area of the mall. If possible, choose the open area as the ‘unit’ area is close to the kitchen and quite a bit noisier. Service – Service was generally good. The staff asked if we needed sharing bowls when the food arrived and checked on the food later when leftovers remained. Staff were quick to refill our glasses of water initially though we had to get their attention for water later in the meal though the floor was not particularly busy. Water – Hot and cold water was available. Cold water was infused with slices of green apple and orange. Others – One of our two drinking glasses was not properly scrubbed. Black dirt that could be scratched/rubbed off remained near the inner lip of the glass. One of the sharing dishes also had some dirt on the outer lip of the dish. Limited vegetarian options. Food Truffle Mushroom Soup + Fresh cream + Rich soup + / - Intense truffle flavour (probably from truffle infused oil as the flavour was uneven though we tried our best to mix it - Very salty croutons Spring Chicken with Couscous + Juicy and tender + well cooked, not over cooked, some pinkish hue on the bones + large portion – can feed a big eater or split between two easily. + couscous with almond flakes and raisins together with the tzatziki help to cleanse the palate and reduce the oily/fatty/jelat feeling after eating a lot of chicken Mushroom Risotto + good amount of mushrooms + very rich and creamy + decent portion size Good, but nothing outstanding about it. The Marmalade Carrot Cake + pretty sizeable slice + traditional-style carrot cake – no layering, just one big cake! + cream cheese frosting was not too sweet + A LOT of walnuts and shredded carrot. Some apple(?) is also included in the cake to improve the moistness of the cake. + Cake was warmed before it was served Outer ring of the cake was a little on the dry side but it was still acceptable when eaten with the frosting.

Try their cupcakes (I had the chocolate hazelnut)! Great service and a good selection of afternoon snacks for tea. Located on the same level of the SQ service centre, Popped in for a quick coffee whilst waiting for my turn. Will come back !
