I
started
my
journey
at
ATP
Personal
Training
in
2020
before
covid
started
and
have
been
going
to
seek
professional
advice
and
guidance
since
then.
It
was
through
an
annual
health
check
up
that
prompted
me
to
seek
training
as
the
lifestyle
and
diet
had
drastically
changed
the
way
I
felt
and
noticed
that
among
high
cholesterol,
lack
of
energy
and
motivation,
lack
of
self
confidence,
I
made
the
decision
to
meet
with
ATP
to
help
remove
the
doubt
of
training
and
influence
of
social
media
to
help
put
me
on
a
path
of
getting
fit
and
healthy
again.
During
our
first
exploration
meeting,
we
discussed
what
challenges
I
experienced
when
training,
the
type
of
training
motivation
and
ideal
trainer
I'd
like
to
have.
I
am
the
type
of
person
that
likes
to
ask
questions
to
understand
the
purpose
of
exercises
and
how
it
targets
certain
muscle
groups
and
so
forth
and
how
tracking
of
my
diet
plans
would
ultimately
help
me
reach
my
goals.
I
was
paired
up
with
JQ
Chew,
one
of
the
senior
coaches
at
ATP
Personal
Training
Singapore.
Forget
about
what
you
hear
from
the
community
that
your
first
personal
training
session
will
make
you
vomit
and
gasping
for
air
-
this
is
false.
JQ's
attention
to
detail,
overall
empathetic
approach
and
care
to
tailor
trainings

you
as
an
individual
is
key
to
helping
you
reach
your
goals
and
objectives
that
you
set.
There
is
no
one
size
fits
all
solution,
there
is
only
the
trust
and
guidance

according

what
is

you.
JQ
will
check
in
with
you
on
some
days
where
your
motivation
levels
are
low
and
that
he
will
help
get
you
back
on
track
or
be
proactive
to
give
you
space
where
you
need
it
-
c'mon
you
know
there
are
some
days
where
you
just
don't
feel
like
going
to
the
gym,
we
all
have
had
days
like
that!
As
long
as
you
show
up,
trust
in
the
process,
ask
questions
and
have
fun
along
the
way
-
trust
me,
its
a
lot
of
fun
-
you
will
see
a
transformation
that
boosts
your
self
confidence,
understand
the
impact
your
nutrition
has
to
your
training
regime
and
most
importantly
understand
that
its
not
just
about
going
to
the
gym
for
strength
training
to
have
the
transformation
you
desire.
