She really can give all the best advice to what is needed for my wedding and allows multiple tries. Most importantly she disinfectant all jewellery before and after try out. On Cheong is always my go to Goldsmith, it goes to way back in my family with my Grandma always going back to Mr Lee for the last forty decades and I follow her footsteps 30 years later. Came here this time to buy my dowries, Mr Lee has always been our family’s superstar in the store. Always so welcoming and even when you don’t get anything he is ok with it and no hardsell. My SG friend introduced me On Cheong many years ago, today I was planning to buy a jewelry with diamonds. I went to here, and Mr. Lee Eng Chong had very professional sales and service, he was not so pushing selling, hearing what you want first and share what they have... finally I didn't buy any diamond jewelry, due to I feel these are too like my mum or grandma's designs. But I brought a gold bracelet with good design, Mr Lee told me it's a new arrivals last Saturday. My husband was also very happy which I had saved a lot budget. This is my 1st time stepping into the main branch. I had been served by Thomas and Mr Seow. I went there to check out their wedding rings. It was a good experience with their genuine service and patience with my fiancé whom is quite particular with his ring. We visited On Cheong @ South Bridge road today. I am heavily pregnant in my 3rd trimester, and actually fell down outside the shop. Kevin Chan and his colleagues were extremely quick to come and help me. We were actually there to look for some jewellery and Kevin was very attentive and helpful in his service. The selection and variety of jewellery is beautiful and the quality is definitely above regular "mainstream" brands. We left with a beautiful pair of diamond earrings and necklace. She was very patient in helping us to change and try various thickness and length of the gold necklace to find one that was suitable for my wife! Took an overseas bracelet with poor workmanship to On Cheong, for repair. Met Kevin and Hui Ting, who attended to me. Cost of replacing a mineral was reasonable as I had a spare mineral. Lily, the Sales Associate, was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She displayed enthusiasm and resilience in understanding my needs. Lily went above and beyond by consulting with their experienced Jewelry Repair Technician, Jeff, to determine the best approach for resetting the ring. I appreciated the time and care she took to ensure a successful repair.When I collected the ring later that evening, I was pleasantly surprised. My mother's ring looked as good as new! The claws had been replaced, the gemstone was securely set, small loose stones were filled, and the size had been altered from a pinky finger size to a perfect fit for the middle finger. It was a wonderful job done, and I couldn't be happier with the result.I would like to commend Lily and Jeff for their exceptional work and dedication to customer satisfaction. Miss Cake was really really patient. Perhaps it is the business model of the company, she did not apply any pressure at all and kept reassuring that it was ok to take our time. My finacee really took her time to choose 😂 but through miss Cake's guidance, my finacee was able to select what she really likes and miss Cake gave good suggestions and advice, but still allow my finacee to make the final decision. I seldom write reviews, but when I do, it was usually because I felt the shop/company deserves it. I went to this store to get my gold necklace fixed as the clasp was broken. The gentleman in the store are honest and helped me to repair it and helped me saved money as I did not have to spend hundreds to replace a new clasp for my necklace. Also, the jewelleries here are super gorgeous. They do have really good jewellery designs that are worth checking out too. I would definitely come back here again and support their business.
