The villa is located on the territory of the Sochi Drendrarium. Entrance to the park is 320 rubles, with a visit to the villa more expensive. Maybe I’m being picky, since I’m from St. Petersburg, but entrance to the Petrodvorets costs 450 rubles. But where is Petrodvorets, and where is the drandrarium? Overall beautiful, but expensive. For those who find it difficult to walk on the slides, it will not be easy. Therefore, take the funicular not far from the entrance, go to the very top and then all the way down.

The museum in Villa Nadezhda is made with skill and is filled with a lot of information. They charged 400 rubles for the excursion. However, the guide didn’t know anything. She called the Alexandrinsky Theater Khudekov’s house, said that Khudekov “was associated with ballet” (in fact, he wrote a 4-volume history of dance), she simply called Kshesinskaya Matilda and did not know why her photograph was hanging here. We then re-read Wikipedia and realized that we had not heard a word of truth from the guide. This kind of unprofessionalism and chaos is outrageous. They would have said that there is no excursion now, but no, they took the money and lied.

Beautiful villa in the Sochi Arboretum. It belonged to the founder of the park and is its real decoration. In 2014 it was restored, the historical appearance of the house and interior decoration were restored. “Nadezhda” was named by Khudekov in honor of his beloved wife Nadya. There is a working museum inside, entrance in November 2023 - 200 rubles.

Pay attention to sanitary days - check at the box office! I saw a small one, they will give you a tour for 15-20 minutes, they will tell you the main thing. It’s better not to ask questions - they will politely avoid answering :) The house is in good condition, the exhibition was made with love for the first owner.

The museum is not bad, the exhibits and archival materials were collected with love, but the guide, unfortunately, has no idea what he is talking about. The comments to the photographs did not correspond to the captions)) the facts from the life of the founder of the Arboretum had little in common with reality. The guide managed not to guess even the years of her life :)) I simply came up with an answer to any additional questions :) In general, it is better to arm yourself with Wikipedia and explore the exhibition yourself. It’s a shame that in a historical and interesting place, employees are spreading misinformation to the masses :(

Refined Sochi rudeness greeted us within the walls of this museum. With the grace of a hippopotamus, the guide ushered us out. Beware of Sochi museum experts

A wonderful historical site in the Arboretum Park. You can book a tour or see the exhibits yourself. On weekends, several times a month, various concerts and cultural events are held, which is especially important and pleasant for both city residents and guests. You need to check with the ticket office about the time of the event; if you purchase a ticket to the event, entry to the park is free. I highly recommend everyone to visit this wonderful place!

Great place. Interesting excursion. Unfortunately, there are no books, booklets, or maps of the park.
