Ini's Hotspot is the best restaurant I've been to in my 6 months in Abeokuta. It has such a beautiful and quiet ambience for a place so good and has almost everything good you're looking. Fancy wall paintings and sign-posts, it's just a great place to be. Their vegetable is arguably the best I've ever tasted and their customer service is top-notch. They could work on the waiting time for meal preparations though. Despite how far it is, I'm definitely going back very very soon.

Ambience is cool...you may need to order ahead of your arrival time because 20 mins may end up being 40 mins of prep time for your meal...above all, they're doing a good job though it could be better

First visit was great. The food tasted like home, lacking the formulaic flavors restaurant often offer, coupled with a cozy homey interior. Next visit, not so much. The customer service went a notch down and most of their menu was unavailable. The jury is still out on this one as the first visit was impressive enough to make me want to keep going back.

There food is superb and the environment is top notch

it's quite the kitchen you'll have to wait for quite a while till the food is ready the service is somewhat nice it's a place where you can take one or 2 loved ones to try Calabar cuisines. it's also quite affordable don't trust the prices on the menu though cuz I had to pay extra cuz lack of upgraded price... the place can also be noisy if there's an ongoing football game but in all I'm rating it cuz the food was ok. I used ok cuz it was my first time eating Calabar food, so for the foodies, it might be cool for you to try it out yourself...

It has both indoor and outdoor sitting. A section of the indoor is for 2 people sitting while other section can occupy more than 2 people. They also have varieties of food.

Great ambience, very customer service, place where friends can hang out or even go on a date. I had Semo and Afang. It was just okay, not excellent... I could count 6 periwinkles in it, I don't think that was satisfactory for the price.

Very good dishes but the most important part of a restaurant is attentive listening to customer. The attendant failed and it completely put me off the meal. I had it packed to be taken away and enjoyed it at home.

Ini's Hotpot needs to do better in order to maintain its standards. I later discovered that I was charged an exorbitant amount for my last meal which I abandoned because the protein was bad.

Enjoyable meal. I feel this restaurant isn't hyped enough. It deserves some flower. The bitter leaf and ogbono soup here are superb. The staffers are warm.

Located in a very calm and serene environment. Less noise, decent service, chilled drinks and you can actually have a nice conversation with your friends/family.

On getting there, nice ambience, cozy and chilled space. Cordial staff took our orders, even advised on meal choice. Another staff brought a cup of popcorn for us t much on as we wait. We went with our baby and they were very warm to her, playing with her et al. Our order came some around 30 minutes later. The swallow was so hot, I loved it. The bitter leaf soup was everything it should be, I had to ask them to pack the rest for me to take home. All in all, I loved the experience. Some may consider it pricey but it's like affordable premium service. Would go again sometime soon 😉

Good place for home made African and native local dishes ! Good place to visit when in Abeokuta

Ordered Rice, stew, dodo and cole slaw. I must say, the stew reminded me of how my late grandma used to make it. She was Efik and had a restaurant. The goat meat was tender and well-seasoned. The cole slaw's one of the freshest I've had. Food took a while though. Service and general response time was slow.

Serene environment. The Banga soup was a bang! But what I don't understand was the staffs taking the glass cups we were supposed to use on our table.

Fantastic but expensive

So my friend and i decided to have lunch there today. The lunch was pounded and Afang soup with Goat meat. The pounded yam was good but the Afang soup was the worst I've eaten in over 25 years of eating Afang soup. The Goat meat was mainly skin with little or no meat at all. Wasn't an enjoyable experience. Pleasee try to improve on this.
