A magical yet mysterious theme park! It is the world’s largest indoor theme park and it is well-connected to shopping malls, cinemas, restaurants, a luxury hotel, and an aquarium. It consists of a huge multilevel indoor theme park with an ice rink and an outdoor amusement park known as ‘Magic Island’. The indoor theme park has a good selection of rides ranging from gentle to thrilling whereas Magic Island consists of mainly roller coasters and thrilling rides. Apart from attractions, there are frequent parades and performances which take place in the indoor theme park with the appearance of adorable Lotte World characters. Lotte World theme park is an ideal place for a family day out and would recommend spending at least two days to fully enjoy most of the rides on both parks. I would personally recommend the Hot Air Balloon attraction that travels along with the ceiling located in the indoor theme park. The balloon ride allows visitors to have a great top view of the entire indoor theme park!

Stay for the parade at the end of the night! The rides are fun and waiting times are not too long. There are rides inside and outside, with places to eat. Not great options for vegans. It does get a bit crowded as everyone leaves.

Amazing theme park with an outdoor and indoor area! We got tickets online at a discount and went during the week on a Tuesday. Arrived right when it opened and didn’t have to queue much for the first couple of hours. Definitely gets packed after lunch though so I recommend queuing for the top rides such as ‘The Comet Express’, ‘The Conquistador’, ‘French Revolution’ and ‘Atlantis’ early on when there’s less people! Our favorite ride was ‘The Comet Express’ since it’s unlike any other ride we’ve been on! Apart from the rides, there are plenty of food choices and at a reasonable price too. All in all a great park for the location and worth a visit on a weekday to avoid long waits :)

We were a bit skeptical when we first got here and it might be boring if you didnt explore enough but once you find those hidden rides, the whole experience changes. Had so much fun here! A place to go with your partner or kids. Plenty of family-friendly rides with a handful of "thrill" rides. Ambience and atmosphere was magical with plenty of locals renting high school uniforms to dress up and take pictures - we joined in this experience too! If you are looking for more thrilling rides would recommend Everland instead. Lotte World gives a more holistic family approach. Could easily spend a whole day here with the number of rides available. I used the Seoul Discovery Pass for this, be sure to note that redemption is at a separate booth.

Tickets are cheaper from Klook. Fun and fantastic place especially for kids. Surprised that no carnival as its too crowded today. We were hoping to see that actually but sadly. Overall was a magical place and my kiddos loves it.

Very fun place and lots of things to do and see. Great for the kids. It was very busy the weekend we went so wait times for popular rides were close to 2 hours! Decided not to ride those rides and stuck to the kids rides which were still 20-30 minutes. Due to the wait times, we didn't get to experience the more popular attractions. Food choices were good but not great. The atmosphere was probably the best part. Lots of people were dressed up and it was a great place for teens and families to hang out. Great location and easy to get to using the subway. Some advice, buy tickets in advance. There are discounts for locals so see if you can find someone local to purchase your tickets ahead of time.

It is just as gorgeous at night, so I definitely recommend staying till the sun is down!

Wonderful and lovely Adventure Park. One day pass for sure won't be enough to cover all in one day but with magic pass you can cover most of it with special access. Had a lovely time with my family and my 5 year old kid enjoyed to the core. Lot of photoshoot places too ensure cameras are ready. Found vegetarian food options very less. Long waiting times on weekend but would presume only little difference if on weekdays.

I know Nami Island you can travel every seasons. The most beautiful season is spring when the red maple and yellow leaves spring out. Even in the winter time is also terrific with white snow. For me, I took photos in rainy season.

I have been to several amusement parks in different countries and I cannot recommend this place. Purposely chose to go on a weekday (Thursday) in October that is "off peak". I have checked, it's not a public holiday or school holiday period. However it is still painfully overcrowded. Full of teenagers. Pros: ✅ Cheap ✅ The trilling rides are fun if you managed to catch them. ✅ Mainly indoor, less worry about the weather (there's an outdoor area called the magic island) ✅ Located near the city center, easily accessible by subway Cons: ❌ Most rides have more than 60 minutes wait. ❌ You queue to get a physical reservation ticket so you can queue at the stipulated time period for the ride (double queue!). Wish we knew of this before hand. ❌ The app is not useful (at least for foreigners)

Had a full day of fun at Lotte World! Crowds were manageable as it was a weekday and for selected rides like the balloon ride, prior reservations are required - meaning you queue once for the reservation and the allocated timing and another time when entering the ride during the allocated time. I had a good experience here! I made a few mistakes visiting as a foreigner! I thought that the park only was indoors and I didn’t realize the rest of the park was outside where the castle was and missed it sadly! We love this amusement park more than most for one reason : cooler. It has both outdoor & indoor activities, so stay indoor when temperature is hot. Food is less expensive and delicious compared to other amusement parks we’ve been to. Many people dressed in school uniforms & wear cute hair bands.

Every staff explain things in Korean which we didn’t understand (during the ride) We didn’t know about the reserved rule So we missed out on the french revolution ride earlier on. Nice indoor amusement park. Easy to get to by Publix transit. Lots of ride choices (and lines to go with them). They have an Express pass offering. If you stay late be aware they close at 11 pm but some rides and restaurants start to close as early as 8 pm. They are on at least three or four levels and also a parade at night of the various characters. They have lockers near the entrances to put jackets and such so your not carrying them around.

There, you can play many exciting games and rollercoasters there are also snacks you can buy there. The games are suitable for both children and adults .There are 3D Games, 4D games and wet games. This is a 3.5 to 4 star experience. This is actually one of the few indoor things you can do in Seoul all day during the brutal summer weather. The place is massive there's a lot of things to do. Many many rides and activities. There's a very large cultural museum that will take a few hours just by itself. I give it lower stars because the more serious rides are mediocre at best and has longer lines than anywhere I have ever been to before. About 2.5 hours of wait time for example for the most popular ride. Here's a tip for foreigners. Websites likes viator and trazy offer substantial discount for foreigners (as of July 2022) if they show their passports at the entrance. It's about 35% discount on average. You do have to book a day ahead for it though not the day of. But if you are getting this discount then consider buying their Magic Pass which will make you skip lines at most of the rides except the super popular ones I believe. I wasn't able to get the discount cause of time constraints but if I had to redo, and had time, I'd get the discount with the magic pass, which night have made the overall experience far more pleasant.

But they do not tell you that their rides require a reservation in advance and hardly take walk-ins or decide to close the lines due to the large amount of guests in line already. A great theme park in the middle of the city. It's a must visit for any person travelling to Korea. Just make sure to make use of the Magic Pass system they have in place to get on as much rides as possible. I highly recommend going on Atlantis as the launch coaster is a highlight coaster. Overall, Lotte World has rides for the kids, the thrill seekers, and the family group. I would love to go back again if I can. Atlantis is well worth the price of admission.

The island offers many restaurants, cafes, and photogenic scenery. If you're in search of a more adventurous type of day it also offers many of water activities. The island also offers bike rentals. I would recommend this place for all the seasons.

An Island of imagination and beauty. It is so beautiful and peaceful here. There is so much to experience from train rides to walks along tree lanes. There are ostriches and cafes/restaurants. It is well worth the trip to visit Namiseom island!

Great place to spend the entire day. We were there from mid morning through the night. The parade show was getting started when we reach so that's our first activity. Our tickets were valid for both indoor and outdoor rides. Due to winter season in the November, it was way too cold to enjoy the rides outside, plus it was raining throughout the day so we spent most of our time indoor. Love love love this amusement park. It has indoor and outdoors. I liked outdoor one. 🥰 It had long queues for some fun attractions. So, come early and enjoy your time here. Or maybe buy fast track. We booked the tickets through klook. I don’t recommend to get combo ticket (aquarium). We regretted as we couldn’t play all the attractions and missed the aquarium. It was closed earlier than on google states. I will come back again!

Very fun place for all ages! Thrilling rides with high-spees roller coaster! Get a magic pass to skip some Qs!

We can stayed here all day many activities. We not much keen on Lotte world but we like pororo land there

It is awesome place for all family. The location is great, because you can choose how to spent your time - go to amusement park or enjoy your walking around it in the park

Even though it was the weekend, there were fewer visitors than I thought, so it was perfect to play. Of course, the popular rides were too long to ride.

One of the must visit places in Seoul, should be definitely on top of the list while visiting this amazing country…….it is world’s biggest indoor amusement park and lives up to the expectations……professional staff….excellent food options, was not expected but could find a lot of vegetarian options also……accessibility is superb, park is located at jamsil station, line 2 and the exit is just 150-200 meters from the enterance and ticket counter…….advisable to visit on weekdays to avoid long queues on rides….park opens at 10 AM and is open till 9:00 PM, suggest to reach the place at 10, as 11 hours will also seem to pass by fast…….do not miss the closing light show projected in the castle…..a mush must visit place….

Good economic park to visit with family. It has an indoor and outdoor park that makes it a great place to visit year round regardless of the weather. I would recommend buying the tickets through Trazy or Klook to save money.

Lotte World at Christmastime is amazing! Also, until Jan. 2, 2022, foreigners get 1/2 off the regular price. Show them the coupon at the end of my photos!

Very nice place, especially for families with kids. Multiple rollercoasters (I recommend "French Revolution"), 4D experience, games, arcades, some live theater/music... Really a lot. We had normal pass and in the morning the queues were long, but acceptable. In the afternoon, rollercoasters queues became terribly long... I wish we had "magic pass"...

A kids dream to go here with so many rides and so many levels. There were parades, bumper rides, merry go rounds and scary rides as well. Definitely recommend to come here if you don’t get motion sickness (like me who could only oh on a few rides before calling it quits 😂😂).

Lotte World Adventure is a must do in Seoul if you're a fan of amusement parks or have kids. However during weekends it is quite crowded so you should be at the gate at 10:00 a.m if you want to enjoy some rides without waiting a long time. There are many kiosks that sell beverages, icream, and snacks, but during lunchtime, all restaurants are packed with people. We visited the place on a Saturday and we got to see the Fantasy Mask Parade, which was really interesting.

Hot to die! Waiting lines are long! But we arrived on their day off (Sunday) so everyone was there. We still really enjoyed the place and we were a bit upset that we had to pay more money for some attractions inside.

It's a great place to have fun and shopping.. you can enjoy the rides and take lots of photos. Great for family adventure; especially those with children.

Went on a Friday afternoon. Way too many people! 99% were school going kids. They should have a maximum capacity and I think it's very unethical of the park to continue selling tickets to unsuspecting visitors. Ive been to countless theme parks but never in my life had I seen a theme park so packed, there was hardly any space to walk. Each ride was at least 120 minute wait. We went back out to purchase the Magic Pass because we at least had to go on some rides after making a trip there. Glad we made the choice to do so as it saved so much precious time. The rides are definitely not worth queuing 2 hours for. Many rides were really old, you can tell once you get on. Once clear plastic is now cracked and yellowed. My past 2 visits were pleasant but this recent one is such a far cry from what it used to be. A waste of time coming here.

We chose Lotte world over Everland as we only had one day left and there was a huge storm. So all of the outside rides were closed but we already knew that. Positives: We got a massive discount online using KLOOK. The dance performance was brilliant and very entertaining. The lines weren’t super long but we did have to wait an average of 20-30. There were some lines for over an hour. Wide range of food selection, everything we had tasted great! The best ride was by far “The French Revolution”. Negatives: We paid for the ticket but then we’re expected to pay extra for most rides and attractions. I think this is a Korean thing as this wouldn’t fly in my country. Even small activities like the mirror maze were extra. You had to reserve time slots for rides but the line to reserve tickets was longer than some rides. Most of the rides were 3D experiences and there wasn’t a massive variety rides. Overall I enjoyed my day but due to the cost I wouldn’t go again. I just think it’s overpriced for what it is. Considering you’ve got Tokyo Disney and Universal in Japan next door.

This park is like the Korean version of Disney. The rides are comparable to Six Flags in the US, but with more Disney attributes. After riding the five major attractions, the scariest ride is definitely the Gyro Drop. Another frightening aspect of the park was the masked parade, as shown in some of the photos below. The food/snacks at the park did not have a markup, which is typical in American theme parks (usually a 400% markup). Overall, the park was one of the best theme parks I've visited.

[we visited during autumn on a school week day]... This is a fun place to visit except for: 1. Exceptionally long wait times for rides (up to 2hrs or more), despite visiting during school times. 2. Over priced for and drink (that is to be expected) 3. Huge crowds! I'd hate to see it in the busy season or during school holidays. . But, the kids had a blast and a wide range of rides from toddlers to teens and a good sized rollercoaster (though I wasn't standing in line for 2hrs to give it a go). You can purchase a magic pass which gives you priority entrance to most rides.

Really fun, it’s suitable for all ages and it’s beautiful at night. The Gyro Drop was one of the best rides. Beautiful view from the top of the ride, you can view the Lotte tower. There are also many restaurants and coffee shops. Connected to the amusement is also a shopping mall. At night time, they have a performance which is both entertaining for children and adults. Ending with fireworks at the indoor part of the amusement park.

staff are super nice, honestly a little overrated and overpriced, but not a bad place to visit ㅋㅋㅋ, went with my 엄마+ 역동생, did the whole uniform thing and it was fun despite the super long lines and only going on one ride💀(granted we came late afternoon), mostly good for the vibes and iconic experience. ended up skating at the rink inside, which was fun! recommend buying tickets ahead of time if you want a magic pass because they were sold out by evening

I thinks is a nice place but kinda confuse where to go, the app does work for foreign. Is different concept and is a lot of food around more than attractions. Just don’t go on weekends ands is a lot of teenagers.

This park was a lot of fun, with attractions for all ages. The French Revolution is definitely the star of the show and everyone should try it. Most rides have slots for single riders so you can go about the park avoiding lines. For the rides with no single rider slots, expect to wait up to 2 hours even on weekdays. If you're a big fan of theme parks and want to avoid the waiting times, consider getting the Magic Pass.

Fabulous, we had a great day & it's very reasonably priced compared to most UK theme parks. There's a wide selection of rides & it wasn't nearly as busy as I worried it might be (Tues). Daughter looked great in her school uniform which we rented from inside Lotte World for convenience & they had a great selection across 3 different shops. It had a great feel & our favourite was the Dark Moon boats at night, with amazing views of the city. We were there during the Enhypen Dark Moon event - which was just cartoons on the banners, gift shop items & their figures on the castle etc but still fun for young people / kpop fans.

Great adventure place to play whole day but unfortunately there is no re-entry once you go out. But there are plenty of food options in the theme park would have love it more if they allow re-entry so that foreign visitors can do their shopping as well as play. The Happy Christmas parade was amazing for both 2pm and 8pm show

Gets really crowded after 4pm when many school teens spent their time in premises. The Magic World outdoors suits kids above 130cm while indoors for younger ones. Probably time to enhance the premises, for they are about the same as I last went a decade back. There is a direct route from hotel to here but silly policy doesn't allow access during the WHOLE carnival parade, even the area is not used at all for the parade. Unfair to those who don't want to stay till end of parade and likes to return to hotel earlier. Hotel guests were made to walk the long way back to hotel, which is in my view, ridiculously silly.
