Before covid: Very fun place to go, lots of people hanging out and having food and drinks. During covid: THE late night hang out spot. With all businesses closing at 10pm for months, this park has turned into the best bar in Hongdae with easy access to nearby alcohol shops that are open until 1am and convenience stores open all night. They are constantly changing restriction practices with putting up net barriers and then taking them down. Either way, it will be packed and people just might be forced to sit on the sidewalk or spill out onto nearby streets. I walk down this park every morning for work and even during the week it's a party spot. My 7am walk to the subway shows the trash from the previous nights festivities and it's pretty gross.

There was an old railroad that connected Seoul and Incheon in the past. After the new track was built, the old track was demolished. The rest of the land was turned into a park. The shape of the narrow passage with no end in sight is because this park was a railroad in the past. To overcome spatial limitations, designers conceived of a new sculpture. As a result, the citizens of Seoul came to like the new park very much.

It's located in the crowded area of Hongdae, but it provides for a perfect walking route. It can get very crowded during the weekends. However, very recommended for weekdays and evening walks. You can spot many people walking their cute dogs and random street cats along the line. Fun fact; the remaining train track you can see along the path are remains of an old train line that went all the way to North Korea.

Really nice walking promenade, with a mini-park / green space strip running down the center filled with benches, water features, and greenery. Perfect for walking, with tons of cafes, restaurants, and shops to explore. You can find lots of people hanging out here in the afternoon and evening. Really pleasant area to explore

This park is really cool! Not much to look at but really relaxing to walk through and sit down and enjoy the calmness of the area. During the day it’s not too busy with people, but around 4 pm it get a little more populated and you’ll find performers singing here. Later on it seems like every inch of grass get taken up for picnickers and those who just want to relax and converse with others. Very happening place to be, also in a very happening neighborhood of Hongdae. Many shops and eating establishments surround the park, so it’s there’s no need to search far for something to eat.

A nice place to take a stroll or just sit and enjoy the weather. Lot's of people sit on the grassy area and do picnics. People also walk their dogs here. They try to make it look like a train station from the old days. You can enter here from sinchon and exit at the hongdae area.

Old train railway roads become a park. Quiet place and looks like people bring their bicycles to ride.

Very gorgeous, chill, and relaxing park. Given that they're just a short walk away from Hongdae, is definitely a huge plus; also shows the 180 switch and variety that Seoul brings to the table. On weekends, do expect to see couples, street performers, families, kids, dogs, etc roaming the park. Grab a takeaway from Hongdae, bring it here to enjoy the beautiful outdoor weather, and you'll easily spend a few hours here winding down and soaking in some local inspiration.

Green oasis amidst Hongdae's crowded shopping streets- a lovely urban planning success. Cafes with windowed views for people watching. More shops, more restaurants. Baby strollers, dog walkers, an occasional misguided runner.

Nice area by Hongik Uni, plenty of shopping, people watching, and eateries - dessert shops, bar food, micro brewery, fast food & sit down. It's close to metro rail & local bus lines; also hotels, hostels, Airbnb rentals nearby.

The ever so bustling park located near Hongik University and also Hongdae. Regardless whether it's day or night time the park is always full of people sitting around the benches or picnicking around the park and people walking their pets. The park is surrounded by eateries and vintage shops. To get there take subway Line 2 (green) and exit at Exit 3
