Just come back from a 4 day trip at this campsite , was excellent , food good, Staff excellent , nighttime entertainment was excellent , day time by the pool. Took my boys to Quercyland, on the steam train and a day in Sarlet de Caneda. Well be back next year for sure

Good location, pool with slides, decent toilets/showers and fun on campsite activities

This is the second time we have been here in a decade. The site provides excellent value for money, staff are polite and amiable and the entertainment of very high quality. The pool and the keep fit classes are first class so my wife and daughter say. The area, especially towards Sarlat, is divine.

Needs a restaurant for the evenings and a games room for the kids. Great pool and bar area. Pitches are very small and concrete so stick to the static caravans. Perfect location for access to Argeles ser mer which is a great town.

Booked this as a last minute, only place available type booking, so didn't have high expectations. We were blown away with the quality of the campsite and accommodation, our accommodation was basic but we knew that when booking. It was clean, spacious and fully functioning. The staff are 1st class and very helpful. We live in france but 1st language is English, they spoke impeciable French and English and were accommodating for our daughters food allergies at the resturant. Facilities were great, pool etc... we are looking forward to coming again in the future.

Outstanding again. This was my fourth time staying at La Paille Basse. I work in France for 6 weeks every summer doing roadside assistance and always find the site is extremely friendly and gives me everything I need during my stay.

Nice place to be. This is a very nice place to stay and spend time with family. The camp site is really well maintained and in e very proper shape. The kids can swim from the early morning till the late evening. All people are very friendly and the hospitality is great. Pay attention you have at least bikes with you to visit certain stuff because you will stay in a very nice, quiet area what also means that all other stuff is a t a driving distance. We will go back one of these:-)

Deserves its 5 stars. Spacious pitch with lots of well needed shade. As an older couple we didn’t take advantage of the numerous children’s facilities but the shop, restaurant, toilet and shower facilities are excellent. So enjoyed our pool swims near the end of the day. Would come back.
