After a week of craving Fish and chips I was determined to satisfy my cravings. After many hours of searching during the previous week, looking at reviews and pictures I had narrowed down the options to two, however, one was not open. CB Sezen was going to be the one, and I'm glad it was! My wife and I were greeted by Alex, who was more than helpful and service was with a smile. I ordered and Alex apologised as there would be a wait as the food was freshly prepared (that is nothing to be sorry about in my opinion). Once home we couldn't wait to dive in as the smell was divine. The large portion was more than enough for me (and I eat a lot!) The fish was fresh and firm and the batter was crispy and golden, chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside, it was such a treat. This has to be the best fish and chips I've had in a while. I'll definitely be returning.

The best fish and chips I have had in years. Freshly cooked to order, crispy and not greasy. Large portions. I was in England 3 weeks, and I ordered from here 3 times. I'll miss the delicious fish meals and their lovely friendly service. Hoping to see you again next year.

Food is made fresh to order and is delicious. A lot of time and effort is put into making it and the people who run it are so kind and friendly. They give generous sizes for a great price, and the homemade bakes are lovely and taste amazing😍 My favourite takeaway in Croydon, will definitely be coming here all the time!

As a taxi driver finding great food on the go, is not always easy but today I’ve managed to find a Great fish and chip shop. I really enjoyed. I would like to thank the owner and the chef for great customer service and food. Look forward to seeing you guys soon.

Best chippy I’ve been to, I would highly recommend. Especially if you’re inclined towards helping smaller businesses in this economy The food is always great, which I imagine is due to the fact they always cook to order; so you don’t get mushy chips or batter as you may do with other chippies The service is great, the owner is very accommodating and respectful, seems like a good man with good sense. This Fish and chips deserves More than just 5 stars by far the BEST fish and chips i have ever tasted. I have to say Customer service was on point which i find important They are very kind and friendly and The Gentleman listened to my order carefully which i placed through just eat and assured me of what i wanted. This is my Favourite local fish and chips from now on Not going anywhere else Thank you for My amazing Meal and you get More than what you pay for when i say that i mean Big portions so thank you so so much!!

Got 2 haddock and chips at lunchtime today and it was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked and so were the chips. I will absolutely go here again.

Absolutely perfect! Best fish and chips I’ve ever had (with the exception of at the beach when I was much younger)... I didn’t have the best experience when I first ordered through Uber eats a few weeks ago but went in person today and it was fantastic! Faultless. Will definitely be our go to from now on. Super friendly, clean, very good food and great curry sauce! Thank you guys for a lovely dinner :)

This place comes highly recommended. The fish is cooked fresh while you wait, very quick service. Large fish cuts and very fresh and perfectly cooked. Chips are also crisp and not anaemic like some places. Never disappoints. Five stars all round!

Food is disgraceful do not go here. I went back to show them the BURNT burger they have given me and they had shut before closing time called them numerous times and no answer. You don’t need to be a burger shop to know how to cook a burger?

Beautiful fish and chips. Great friendly customer service. Cooked fresh as your order. And very reasonably priced despite the cost crisis we are all facing lately. Dinner for 4 adults = 4 cod, chips & curry sauce £30. I think that’s pretty decent. 🥰

I’m Mark I have been using CB Sezen for a couple of years now I only used them because my chip shop was closed a Lucky day for me . Everything we have ever got has tasted delicious they are always so nice & professional ,They don’t treat you like a customer more like a friend , Make sure you try them

Ridiculous amount of chips in box and small fish! Phoned the shop to ask him what had happened and the man was being rude telling me if I’m not happy go to another shop and was talking to me rude on the phone.. he then went on and on shouting down the phone not letting me speak and then he hung up! Nasty rude man!

Nice food here, I ordered a large cod, chips and battered sausage. It's what you'd expect from a fish and chip shop.

That was the worst fish so far, I was given a freshly deep fried old dry fish that I was scared to finish up. As I have ordered large cod and chips one tiny piece was fresh but the other big one was old and super dry and hard to chew. On the good side chips were very good and overall portion was rather solid. For sure I will never have a fish at CB anymore and would definitely not recommend!

We need to do everything we can to support the local business and this is one of a few fish and chip shops local to me The owner is friendly and greeted me smiling as I walked in very polite and chatty which put me in a good mood. There is a nice place to.sit while you wait for your order which is cooked freshly. The place is very clean and hygienic and well staffed. I ordered 2 cod and 2 large chips for my family of 4, as well as 2 battered sausage and a pie. I was pleasantly shocked to find that it was under £40 because compared to most prices this is good value!! Anyway he even made sure I had enough chips by putting in some extra. The fish is nice and large, and lovely and flaky with light crispy batter. The chips were thick and delicious and everything seems to be high quality, and it was piping hot. I know they do just eat but I prefer to go down to collect because I have had a good experience the couple of times I have been there. Everyone was well fed and happy and it was a very nice Friday fish and chips dinner :)

The best Fish and Chip shop in Croydon. Perfectly fried fish and proper chips made from real potatoes, cut on the premises. Excellent value with good portion sizes. The staff are helpful and friendly.
