Food was pre-ordered and service was fast, efficient and friendly. Everything was delicious . This restaurant (it has a few branches in the city, but this one is the best) serves Authentic Bengali cuisine at a very reasonable pocket pinch. The service is very prompt and I always tend to order more than I can consume ! They have some speciality is Dhakai biriyani, Chital Machher muitha, muri ghonto etc, which are simply awesome.

Nice place to try bengali cuisine. We ordered bengali pulao, mutton kosha, aam er chutney, aam pora shorbot and their house speciality nolen gurer ice cream. All the dishes tasted delicious. Giving it 4 start for a reason. When we ordered for the second time, they served mango chutney in kashar patro. We shouldn’t have sour food in such utensil. Else the remaining things are great.

Not all options were available for veg items, including paneer. Behaviour of the employees were nice. Atmosphere was also good.

It is tidy and hygienic apart from the tables. There are some sort of stains on them. Food: It is famous for its Bengali delicacies. The taste was palatable. The quality and quantity were decent too. Staff: They serve a lot of people on a regular basis. Surprisingly, they don't know how to welcome guests and talk professionally. You would surely miss that. If you're saying "No" to someone, it has a way to say. They need soft skills training. Well decorated and clean place. The Bengali and Indian food items are delicious. The thali is very reasonable for 1 person or 1 adult and 1 child. Dishes are well cooked and fresh.

I went there with high expectations about their food and I was not disappointed at all. The ambiance might not be that great but the food makes up for more than that. Awesome taste and a huge variety on the menu.

The quantity of the food is so less. It's for all the food items. What is the logic of giving 3 pieces of non veg items? It's only to make the customer order another plate of the dish. The quality is no doubt top class, but the quantity overshadows it. 1 more thing...1 pc Luchi costs Rs20 (facepalm) Coming to the staffs, without even asking you they will keep mineral water bottle on the table. They are more interested in Watching the television rather than focusing on the customers. Lot of scope for improvement!

I will rate only 1 because the price of items is very overpriced but the taste was okay. About the availability of items I will say anything that you want to order they will say it is not available right now only 10-15 items are available during lunch. And also they don't have a manner to ask: how was the food? Or how it can be better.. etc. The restaurant is now running because of past name.

Very low quantity of dishes. Even for one person, you have to take at least 2 gravy dishes and minimum 1 and half rice plates. Three of us visited tonight, and we were forced to take 7 gravy items and 5 rice dishes, to at least feel that we had eaten something. Let alone be full!!! And when we asked the waiter why is the amount of gravy so less, he said that we were actually given more, because it was closing time. Two stars given only for the taste of the ordered dishes.

Bogus. Not up to the mark as per their fame. We visited their Diamond Plaza brunch by bus from Bally, Howrah. They are not professional. Casual approach. Manpower is not sufficient. 4 persons are there and they are taking orders and also bringing foods. At the time of crowd they were not abling to manage every table timely. The food is tasty but quantity is not sufficient as per price. Their Thali system is bogus and they want to fool their customers. They are providing 'Bandha Govi' curry and 'Lau-er Tarkari' along with Shukto in their Thali. When Blogers are going there they serves Chanar Dalna etc. Although we decided to take Thali but after knowing menu of that day we took food Ala Karta Basis. Mutton pices were so much small we couldn't believe that this type of famous restaurant can serve this type of small quality of food. We went there on 12.30 P.M. and when we ask to give us Rajbhog and Sandesh firstly they told Sandesh would not be available. Later they told Rajbhog were available only 2 pieces and Sandesh would be available. We took 2 pieces Rajbhog and Sandesh. Size of the Rajbhog and Sandesh was small not as per the price. I recommend not to visit this restaurant. We have not seen any Manager there to manage those watters. Fully casual approach.

The food is authentic Bengali cuisine. The waiting time is around 20-25 minutes, we were hungry lastly we got the food and the coconut prawns were good in taste. The texture and color of the food items we ordered were like it was home made.

I can't... with the food. I mean whenever you miss homecooked food, this place can give you the perfect feeling of how it's like to have home cooked food. The menu is so big and I feel like trying everything. All at once. But you should not have biriyani in the restaurant.

We went on a Sunday Lunch and we were late ... To our surprise the food was available at 3.45 pm but not the max item as it was sold out. Thali was sold out. We decided for alacart and went for fish fry, Bhetli Roll --it was good Luchi, Mutton kossa ---it was good Bhetki Paturi --it was good, but the flavor was very strong Prawn malai-- it was so so Chicken dakbunglow --it was so so Basanti Polao--good Over all experience was good. Since they don't cook their food here, so it may be not warm.

Good place for bengoli food...but the quantity they offer in this price is not that good. Me and my 3 friends have to spend a 1650 rupees for having a bengoli cuisine here, which was a little costlier. Chicken kosa and chicken dakbunglow was good and the epic bengoli basonti pulaw was too good in taste.

As of bengali food taste, it's the best. But quantity of the items served is small. As the price of single pice of hilsa was Rs. 650/-, it's too high to me. But anyhow for the taste of the food, I go at least once in a year.

We liked the food here in terms of taste however the price felt a little out of value but again, maybe it's in a mall so we're also paying for the high rent and taxes. The service is decent but could be better. The main issue is cleanliness and hygiene. The floor had visible oil smeared on it and the tables were badly stained. Otherwise, it's a good place to eat Bengali food. PS: we are vegetarian Bengalis and the veg options are very nice.

After lockdown most of the dishes are not present in their outlet ... Not even the rare dishes ... Common dish like luchi,potol dorma and many other things are not available.. And staff behaviour are worst,they dont care about customer satisfaction.

They serve the worst food... Pls don't go there to waste your money!! I ordered bhetki pathuri which costs 195 in their menu but at the time of payment they made it to 250 rs per piece. And when i ask them, they said that it's a jumbo bhetki pathuri and the cost is high but they didn't told me they had 2 varients. And the food quality is soo soo worst.. As you can see bhetki pathuri doesn't look like this..it was dry and tasteless doesn't have the right amount of spices and coating. And the size was also small. (But according to them it was big) I ordered * 2 pathuri (of rs 195) but total was 500 for 2 * 1 plate rice (it was like half plate rice) 95 * pomphret jhaal (fish was smelling ) 230 * one soft drink * jhuri aaloo bhaja * moong masur dal (it was tasteless & sweet) And the total was 1007 (didn't worth the money ) The staffs were also confused and rude. If you don't want to waste your then pls don't go there!

Authentic home like bengali food.. not all outlets are so good, but liked the friendly atmosphere for this diamond plaza mall outlet.. like the chicken dakbunglow, vetki paturi and mutton chop.. only drag was that the quantity was very less for all items as compared to price.. nolen gur ice cream and mishti doi is a must for desserts!!

Today they were only offering veg and non veg thali but you cannot order from ala carte. The veg thali got sold out around 7pm itself. So no option for vegetarian and that was a bummer. The quantity/portion is less. If you ordered a thali you can only ask for extra rice by paying a charge but you cannot order any other item even when you are ready to pay. Who came up with this weird logic? If I want to have an extra mishti doi with my thali, they want me to order another thali? Nonsense.

food tastes very good and authentic. Those service boys were also very friendly. I love the mutton and shukto. Vegetarian friendly also. Lovely place to eat with your family and friends or with close ones!

We went yesterday, Good food and behaviour but some items were missing like Daab chingri and Bhetki fish finger. It was less crowded, may be because it was monday.

Today I placed order for following items: 1.Jumbo Chingri Malaikari 2.Mochar ghonto with chingri. 3.Ilsha fish fry Without hesitation I have to say that I disappointed for item nos1&2 as both the items were testless and I believe in future I have to think twice before going to Bhajohari. As a probashi(expatriate), I found the food a lot more sweeter than usual. Like, in bengali households, mom's don't add that much sugar in any of the foods they cook. Also the quantity they give comparing the price they are taking is very less. Not at all satisfied!!!! Too expensive and little quantity.

Honestly a very average experience at the BM diamond plaza outlet. As s benefit of doubt the 3 star has been given. The ambience is good and the servers are very helpful. But the most negative point is the food is cooked in a different kitchen and brought here. Most of the items in the menu are not available. We ordered the following items : 1. Bhetki rongpuriya fry ( 4 / 5 - normal fish fry cooked very well ) . 2. Bengali mishti pulao ( 3 / 5 ) - very average pulao and had to order it because none of the other options were available ) 3. Mutton dakbungalow ( 2.5 / 5 ) - Their signature dish but terribly dissapointed . Just a rich mutton kosha gravy with 3 mutton pieces and an egg. 2 of the mutton pieces were bony. 4. Nolen gun ice cream ( 4 / 5 ) - Best of the bunch. It was a very underwhelming experience at this outlet. No wonder the less footfalls.
