Check in was great but I was not logged in to there system. Was awakens at night while sleeping after working all day ... Basically accused of and questioned as if I had some how . Illegally acquired the room. Had to then resolve the matter.. I have over 280 check ins a year that are verifiable and not once I've ever ran into a problem like this.. there seems to be a management problem and a disconnected between the owner and the franchise. Have stayed here multiple times in the past 4 years.. there are other near buy options which would probably better. Hope this place gets it figured out...not a good stay.

Robert at the front desk made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean, and the jetted tub we chose was very nice and worked great. However, our shower had a slow drain, the pool area had no towels and the jets in the hot tub by the pool weren't working. Also, the pancake machine was broken, which was minor but it's my favorite part of their breakfast. The price was very reasonable, I would come back here but hope to find less things out of order next time.

I had 2 rooms for 2 nights. One room had ants. The pool was not clean and hot tub is closed. Never stay on a Saturday night if you want to sleep Sunday morning. They host a regular religious event on Sunday mornings that can be clearly heard on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was great and the people were nice otherwise.

I didn't have high expectations but overall this was a pleasant surprise. The staff is very friendly and customer service focused. The breakfast was probably above average to a fair amount above average. The rooms are about exactly what you would expect but were clean enough and good enough for their purpose. Parking is plentiful, although there seems to be a notorious consistent practice of people parking in the very back corners and having their car alarms go off at all hours of the night, though I don't know that is the Hotels fault. This hotel is a little ways South of Tacoma and a little ways North of Olympia but is basically right on top of Fort Louis and McCord if you're coming TDY. It seems like during the week half the room having breakfast is in military uniform.

I'm a little mixed on how to do this review. On one hand the room was nice and clean, had a nice mini fridge and microwave and a Keurig coffee pot with about 4 coffee pods and some creamer/sugar packets. That all was nice. The bed had a duvet on the bedspread, which scares me that maybe they don't wash the bedspread, but just the duvet. Also the bedspread kept slipping out of it and falling to the floor, that was annoying to keep fixing. On the other hand I'm disappointed in the facility because I rented it specifically for the pool and hot tub, the hot tub was out of order and the pool was cold, like really cold. I came from Illinois to visit my son and his family on the army base and wanted a pool for the kids to come swim in, if I hadn't wanted the pool I would have chosen a different hotel closer. It was mid 40s outside, so I'm not sure why an indoor pool was so cold, but it was too cold to use. The continental breakfast was okay.

The staff here were very helpful and check in was a breeze. The rooms were clean and well laid out and the mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was decent , hot food and the usual cereal and yogurt. I would stay here again.

This is the first time I've scored a Holiday Inn poorly. Considering the facility which looked really nice as well as the rooms. None of that matters if you walk into a dirty room. Both rooms we went to were dirty. The first room I was given to stay in a King Suite still looked occupied the bed wasn't made, there were key cards on the counter. It was the first time that has happened to me. The second room also a king suite again as seen in the pictures, had smudges on the mirror, the bedding wasn't crisp, it actually looked like if it was cleaned it was laid in, there was urine on the Toilette seat, coloring on the walls and generally just not what I've come to expect from a Holiday Inn.

Right off the freeway in a clean neighborhood, and within 10 minutes of great restaurants (BBQ Pete's), the mall, and Mt. Tahoma high school, which our track meet was at. The hotel had a great variety of hot food for breakfast, rooms were clean, and front staff were friendly. The pool and hot tub were clean and at perfect temperatures.

I just wanted to let you and all of the people of the Holiday Inn family know that the desk agent, Mayla, was hands down the most professionally compassionate person I have had the pleasure interacting with at a hotel the past decade. She was able to help this weary traveler at an inopportune time of day get into a room and feel safe and welcomed. Her efficient desk demeanor and welcoming smile and attitude, at the end of a long night shift (poor thing), was so kind and just the type of interaction missing in most hospitality based businesses. I can unequivocally say that she has a bright future in whatever she does and is clearly an asset to your fine hotel. Thanks again for the stay!

I'm not sure how this hotel has a 4.2. This is by far one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. I could have spent half the money at a dump and got better accommodations. Book a king was given 2 queens except the beds are not queen but doubles. Where on earth did they find 1 ply toilet paper?? It was 20 degrees outside and they had the heat off in the room and the refrigerator turned off. The breakfast was terrible dry turkey sausages and sausage gravy but no biscuits. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting on the desk clerk while they had a casual conversation with a friend while making herself coffee. Never again. I guess kudos to the manager for finding ways to save money at the customers expense..

The staff is awesome here. Gives you bottled water for free. However, this place has 147 rooms and one (1) guest laundry facility. One of the two washing machines is out of service, so now there’s one machine for the entire hotel. That creates absolute chaos. Not to mention the fact that the year is now 2022 and we are still seeing coin-operated machines instead of the kind which can take a credit or debit card. No pets allowed. Hot tub taped off, out of order. One of the elevators just broke. Staff never at the front, sometimes nobody is in the back office either. Ice machine is empty.

One side of the hotel is within spitting distance of I-5. The traffic noise is almost unbearable. The rooms were clean, and each room had a mini fridge. Wifi was good. Parking is pretty tight, especially for larger vehicles. The pool is nice and the workout center needs some help. Staff were nice enough, but it took four phone calls to get a receipt of our stay emailed to me. Overall, there are better options in Lakewood for the same price.

I originally posted an unfair review about my experiences at this hotel and had to remove it because it was a biased review. I stay at this location whenever I come to town because it’s close to family and everything else. It’s convenience and location keep me coming back yearly for my holiday trips and I will continue to do so. The staff will be accommodating if you voice your concerns and communicate with them and they try to go above and beyond for their guests. I had an unpleasant incident take place and they did the best they could to accommodate me although I was difficult and angry. They still made sure I had everything needed and the housekeeping staff does an amazing job! Make sure to tip those ladies as they truly work miracles. Also I would like to add last year after my stay I left a review about traveling with a child and them updating the cable package so my kid could enjoy his cartoons. This year upon checking in we got a room with a better cable package and my child was able to watch all his cartoon shows. They actually listened and it made the stay more enjoyable. Don’t waste money going anywhere else as this is the place you’ll want to Holiday.

Hotel staff checked me out of my room 1 day early, they removed all of my belongings from the room hamgers and drawers, went thru and ransacked all my bags and belongings and left them in complete disarray. They refused to give my bags back until I called the police. Such a horrible experience after working a 14-15 hour emergency shift. It's also not a very safe area. The room was also run down. Ripped shower curtain, sticky carpet, shower makes awful loud noises, TV speakers have horrible static. Worst part is the outlets that were so old and worn down phone chargers will fall out.

My husband and I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times and have mostly enjoyed it, with some caveats. The front desk staff is hit or miss. You might either get a rude girl who mumbles and completely messes up all aspects of your stay, or you might get a super respectful and professional guy who is super on top of everything. The rooms are ok, but a little dated. We always stay in the king suite with jetted tub. The layout is pretty cool: individual room for the hot tub with doors that close and its own AC system with 2 chairs and a small table. However, it takes no less than 45+ minutes to fill up! On average it takes about an hour, which is pretty inconvenient. The worst thing about this hotel is the air freshener/cleaner/scent they use. They absolutely drown their hotel in this scent, it is literally nauseating in the hallways and will loft into your room. Our last stay I dealt with sinus issues because of it. Location is a little rough but is in a conveniently close proximity to a lot. Parking lot feels safe. Convenient store/market on-site is nice. Overall worth a night or two stay.

I was very pleased with the layout of this facility. The pool, spa & fitness center were all very clean. They are all semi private so you don’t feel as though your on display while enjoying yourself. Elevators were quick. Hallway corridors were clean, no funny smells. Room was clean and temp was perfect. Only disappointment was upon arrival no front staff were at counter and it took several minutes for anyone to emerge to check us in. There were no devices to activate to illicit an alert that we were there awaiting service. Other than that our stay was extremely pleasant and we will definitely choose this one again over the place next door any time!

Very clean hotel and good value for money. We picked this place as it was between Olympic and Mount Rainier national parks. We have been very happy with the service and breakfast. Rooms were clean, they might do more maintenance into some of the parts of the rooms to make it look newer. I would recommend if the location works for you.

Ms. Bailey was friendly and professional. Our company books this hotel every year. PTAC had it's cover hanging down. Seemed a little weird. Beds were nice. Dish network sucked..... Tv's could use an upgrade. Shower head was garbage. Two settings...... Flood... and spray everything except the person trying to shower. I've been at better.... but also been at worse.

Worst Holiday Inn i've ever stayed at. Avoid this place if possible, this hotel doesn't match up to the IHG standards in my opinion. The rooms don't feel clean, the shower curtain was torn and worn. My colleagues room had ants. They try to bribe you with points to make up for the bad accommodations. I had a cup of ice that melted and there was specks in it, it was so dirty I didn't dare eat the breakfast buffet. My keurig machine was broken. There was scuffs on the walls.. honestly I could go on and on. Oh and I had some misc charges and wrong dates posted on my invoice that I had to get corrected. There's not much around here but two small gas stations. I'd never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Everything was fine. However, while waiting in line to check in they have crummy music blasting you from right overhead. (And you can hear it in the breakfast area in the morning, too.) The woman behind the counter appeared to be the only person working. When she gave me a room on the first floor I asked if there was something higher. She tried to tell me I'd have to wait for her to check in all the people waiting behind me before she could check. Uhhh... NO. I had to wait forever for you to check in the people in front of me. It's my turn now. She did a lot of typing and clicking on her screen and claimed there were no other rooms like the kind I had reserved. I thanked her for checking but I'm not sure I believe there were no other rooms.

Beautiful place to stay, staff is helpful, friendly and always happy to greet you! The room was exceptionally clean and nicely appointed!! This lovely place serves a light breakfast in the morning, and fresh coffee 24hrs a day in the lobby. While it sits right next to interstate 5, you don't hear road noise at all! Very quiet and restful. You won't be disappointed!!

I used cash and points for my room and spent less than 40 on the room. Got in late and was tired. Got all checked in and up to the room and my keys weren't activated. Had to go back down and wait while another person finished checking in to get new keys. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good.

The staff was great. The breakfast was outstanding. The king jacuzzi suite was adorable and beautiful. I didnt want to leave. The only downfall was that when we checked in we told them that we want to use cash and asked them specifically that I wanted to not have the card charged. They charged it 4 different times for "authorized" fees. Took almost 1000 bucks unexpectedly and it will apparently take 7-10 days to get back on the card when it took seconds to take it.

The location is pretty easy to access, overview look Nice, pool was freezing cold but Kids it doesn't bother after a little while. They're definitely Understaffed the girl was not happy happy about a call for blankets. When picking up our room in the morning, double checking under everything (I also bedding off beds I don't know if it helps I feel like at least that way it hopefully gets cleaned) While doing this I found other people's garbage In the room that was not picked up but just little hidden spots.

This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. The jacuzzi was fabulous! The bed was amazing! Ugh, i wanted to stay another night. However, we were told by our friends that we stayed on the ghetto side where vehicles get robbed. I’m not sure how true that is. That’s probably something to consider but it’s definitely closer to the base.

We have been traveling dealing with the loss of a child this was our last stop (WA) we had booked 10 days through the IHG app (which already charged us) when we arrived late the front desk couldn't find out reservation even with the confirmation code and name after an hour on phone with the IHG. We just paid out of pocket to deal with it in the morning. The next day Araceli the front desk lady was wonderful she worked on it for over an 1 1/2 and was able to get our reservation fixed and got us into a very clean room. I can not say enough about the staff here working hard to fix a problem that wasn't theirs to fix. The room was very clean the noise from hwy couldn't be heard over the heat/ac on. I would rate this hotel a ten or higher mostly due to the service I received from the staff!

Had a very nice stay for a 2 days. A good relaxing get away. The staff is very kind and great customer service. Breakfast had great selection and loved the pancakes and cheese omelet. The only thing I was disappointed with is that the hot tub is closed and the pool is freezing cold but since I rented a room with a jetted bath it's worth the stays.

Nice hotel and AMAZING staff. I flew in for a wedding and intended to leave on a Friday night; however, it turns out taxis and ride shares are next to impossible to get on weekends. I was struggling for hours to find a ride to the airport, then when out of nowhere Gary, who had just finished his shift at the front desk, offered to take me to the airport! I have never seen a hotel employee go out of their way to help a guest like this young gentleman did. I tried to give him money for the ride but he eagerly and graciously declined any attempt on my behalf to pay him for the ride. To get off of work and drive a complete stranger to another city to catch a flight, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING customer service. I will be a guest here for the foreseeable future!
