Not just because it's a new building, its prepandamic clean both inside and out. Bed sheets and pillow covers were all clean right down to the floor. No foul smell anywhere in the building or the room where we stayed two nights. Includes eggs and sausage for bk. Highly recommend if you need a room near the base or traveling through.

My husband and I were traveling from the Oregon Coast to northern Washington and stayed here one night. It is a newer hotel, right off the I-5 with EV charging stations. This was an ideal location and we had no trouble charging our car overnight. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was friendly, despite looking like it had been a very busy day for her (we arrived about 9:30pm). The room was clean, spacious and new. The windows didn’t open but it was easy to control the room temperature with the thermostat. There was a smoke detector near the foot of the bed which flashed lights every few seconds. This would not likely bother most people,I’m very light sensitive so it took a bit to get adjusted to once all the lights were off. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet (there was one floor above us). There was coffee & herbal tea available in the room. I didn’t use the tv or Wi-Fi but my husband had an early online meeting which he had no problem with. The shower was good pressure and temperature. We left early the next day so didn’t participate in the breakfast. There was bottled water and some snack foods available near the front desk, not a vending machine but an open pantry type to purchase. Our room was south facing and looking outside we saw signs of this being a newly constructed building. Overall, this was an ideal location for a quick stop, clean & friendly.

This is one of hotels exceeding the expectations with 2 nights stay. I would recommend this hotel for location, service and room cleanness Room is very clean and new. Service is exceptional . From lobby receptionist/check in staff to cleaning staff , everyone is so friendly ! we feel so welcomed and get a 5 star service . The breakfast is more than basic with waffles maker, sausages, gravy and eggs compared to other 2 star hotels.

Update 6/27/23: General manager is rude, defensive, and incapable of resolving trivial complaints without trying to call police. When Bernard leaves, this place can go back to 0 stars. --Original (5 stars): Great front desk hospitality, Bernard (sp?) is amazing. Value to cost ratio is impressive.

They do offer a comfortable bed nice shower, enough space, however I didn’t like their tv because it wasn’t internet enabled. I couldn’t cast Netflix or YouTube from my phone. Breakfast was good, but it was the same thing all week long got boring

What an AMAZING experience! We could not be happier with our choice to stay a full week at this location! Everyone here is a perfect example of the ROCKSTAR level of service and comfort! The front desk personnel are super friendly and so sweet and very, very helpful! The breakfast attendants are always working hard to make sure there is plenty of yummy hot food available each morning! The housekeepers always made sure we had everything we could want and need, we felt so pampered! And having roaming security at night made us sleep soundly knowing our vehicle was under a watchful eye! Thank you so so much for the wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!! ❤😊❤

Was definitely surprised with how nice these rooms are. Nice new building and well taken care of. My room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's not in the greatest location for food, etc, but the value and professionalism from the staff outweigh the downfall of the location

Clean facility and room. Courteous and speedy check-ins. Quiet. Well lit parking lot. Basic free breakfast. AC unit ran quietly all night without freezing up or shutting off! Quick jot off the highway.

Beautiful room! We had the handicap room. About 130 after tax. The bathroom was huge! King size bed was very comfy mix between firm and soft(tempurpedic) and clean bedding all layers! No "view" but considering the area, that's just fine 😁. Breakfast was a typical buffet style with waffle maker and went until 10, so we didn't feel rushed to get dressed and downstairs. I overslept while hubby got us both food. I asked the desk at the last minute but was allowed a late checkout. There is plenty of parking near building so no fears about our car. My only complaint was the bathroom . The huge floor plan allowed for water everywhere on the floor! Only drain in shower and tiny partial barriers let water seep over entire floor. Luckily, I had sandals to wear later. I asked for more towels and pillows, but it was very late at night, so I only got a pillow. 🤷‍♀️The young black clerk(can't remember the amazing young man's name, brain damage sucks for memory) that checked us in was hilarious and very helpful. Gave us info about other hotels in the chain to check out on our travels. Hopefully, my following narrative helps you get the credit you deserve. We checked in at around 9 pm. on a Friday the week before Memorial day. This bubbly and very hospitable young man greeted us. We immediately hit it off and started commiserating about horrible stays and hotels that obviously weren't what they advertised. Lol. He even shared a story about traveling with his family. They didn't get as far as planned, so he had to find somewhereto stay. He wanted to use his employee perks at a place they'd never stayed. I believe it was vancouver WA. His room was nasty and staff a joke! Then discussed wonderful finds (like here. We haven't had a lot of luck finding reasonably priced rooms for 1 night with reasonable amenities and good staff) and surprises we'd experienced. This night clerk deserves a raise and to be rewarded for his loyalty and knowledge. Every time I came down(memory, kept forgetting things), he was working on something. Even though nobody would blame him, he wasn't just posted up at the desk scrolling on his phone! I feel bad because when I went in and out, he made sure to make his presence known and available if we needed anything. Obviously, interrupting his work. I'm definitely planning on keeping this as our spot next time we are in the area.

By far the hotel room was a blessing. The staff normally kept to themselves and were more than welcome to help me with any questions or concerns.the rooms were nice and clean as well it was quiet and peaceful for the most part. The only bad part was I think I might have been lied to being that first night being there I had asked the hotel staff Bernadette if they had laundry soap and they told me that they had just ran out and I had believed her until after getting back from the store and having looked behind the washer where there was a whole bottle of Tide. Either way I didn't take it too much to heart and forgave her. All in all the stay was a relaxing stay. Loved having the free breakfast every morning too.😁

This is my new favorite place to stay when travelling for work! The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a good breakfast variety, coffee cocoa tea and water throughout the day. The highlights for me are that the rooms are more soundproof than many other hotels- the quiet is amazing, and the blackout curtains could have you thinking it is midnight all day if you choose.

We had a leak in my house that displaced us for several weeks. We were SO fortunate to be able to stay here. First off, the manager is so kind, and makes sure the small details are given the same attention as the obvious. The housekeeping is excellent. Very thorough. All of the front desk staff have been helpful, professional and welcoming. This has been a bright spot during several weeks of angst surrounding my home damage. Aside from the staff, the beds are so comfy. The sheets are soft, rather than cheap sandpaper sheets often found in hotels. The linens are all white so you KNOW that they are clean. Excellent hotel. I would recommend this to anyone.

My mom took me here for my birthday and it was amazing! The convention we were going to was 30 minutes away, and there were close hotels, but I have no regrets about staying here. The breakfast was good, the staff was kind and helpful, and everything was very clean. I used to be a maid at a Hampton Inn, and the quality and cleanliness of the rooms at the Comfort in is so much higher. There were also some good restaurants nearby. You have to drive a bit to get groceries, but the location is otherwise great. Thank you so much for an amazing birthday.

Decent location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff! All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with our 4 children and lots of luggage and despite the long drive up to WA it was one of the nicest places we stayed in the past week until we were able to get our living situation resolved. My family and I felt safe during the entire time and would recommend it to anyone in transit to JBLM or WA in general. I would love to thank both the front desk and security for accommodating and making my family feel safe and secure during our stay!!!

First and foremost, I must start by saying that I received a great welcoming from the coceirge every time I stay here. The staff is very kind and they greet you with a warm welcome and a smile. This doesn’t happen in most places. Housekeeping is always at your service when needed. They are kind and go above and beyond to make your stay here a comfortable one. The breakfast area is always clean and there is always someone there to assist you if needed. I don’t have any negative things to say as I’ve read in a few other reviews. My family and I have stayed here before and we have been delighted with the service we’ve received. The area is quiet and the hotel itself is peaceful. I’d like to thank Bridget and her wonderful staff for doing what they do best at being hospitable. Keep up the good work. I Wish there were more locations like this one in this area. Kindness is always a drive for me and my family.

Moved to Washington coming from VA with my family Saturday night, arrived here and received an awesome service. Customer service is very polite, the room was comfortable, clean, and roomy. It was a very quiet hotel which makes it so make better. The breakfast is simple and very good, but I want to point out to the employee that works the 7am shift during the week day. Her name is Heidy and she is a terrific employee, she is very very kind, she has enthusiasm in her and great to have a conversation with. She always ask specifically how you want your food to be arranged before she serves it to you and she is very friendly. I look forward to visiting here again.

The room was perfect (tho the bed was a tad too hard for my liking). The employees were wonderful; friendly and welcoming. The parking lot is tiny but lit as bright as daylight at night with security to patrol. I enjoyed my stay.

Starting with the parking lot... It's was so well lit... The doors were buzz in or key entry only... Everything was clean and organized!! The woman at the desk was so professional and friendly!! The had a small are with food and drinks for purchase... Also around the clock complementary ice water and coffee! We got to our room and nothing was out of place and so clean!!! If we are ever up in this area again we will be staying here!!

This hotel is TOP quality. My stay was comfortable and clean (breakfast provided). The staff were kind and had great attitudes. The Hotel is also very easy to get to as it is just along one of the main roads in Lakewood. I accidentally left my phone here and after communicating with the General Manager Bridget Kudlacs I've got my phone back! I sent Bridget a shipping label and she packaged my phone and dropped it off at USPS on her way home. Phone arrived home safe and sound. This is the kind of remarkable people who make this hotel stand out from the rest! Thank you to Bridget and the staff at Lakewood Comfort Inn!

Overall, the room was very nice. I've stayed in many motels coast to coast over my 64 years. This room has the best shower of any of them. The bed was way too soft for me. Wound up sleeping in a chair.

I've stayed in this hotel numerous times over the past couple of months due to back and forth travel. I have tried multiple hotels in the area and this comfort inn is by far my favorite in its class. The property is brand new, the beds are super comfortable, the hot breakfast is a great start to the day, and everyone on the staff is extremely welcoming and sincerely helpful. With my repeated stays I can truly say this is a real home away from home. Thank you comfort inn and staff for all of the great stays and many more to come.

We had such a wonderful stay with Comfort Inn JBLM while visiting our son. Bridgette and the rest of her staff were so helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in after such a crazy flight. The hot breakfast was exactly what we needed- so good. Even when we came back a week later, the service by all was above any of the other hotels we stayed with during our time in WA and OR. Thank you, Bridgette, for finding us the perfect room on our last night!

We stayed here a few nights in between housing. It is a new facility and extremely clean. I liked how the towels in the bathroom were labeled, certain ones for makeup. We've stayed in our share of hotels the last year and half and this one is in the top 10 in regards to cleanliness, front desk, management, and hospitality. My husband was doing some remote work and there was a misunderstanding about him using the business center. The front desk called my room after midnight and woke my 2 year old twins. I was highly upset. The manager went out of her way to have a phone call with me late at night. We worked it out and she let the employee know it's never acceptable to call a guest's room for any reason at that hour. Other than that, the facility is not in the best area, but there are cameras everywhere and the lights in the parking lot are very bright. I enjoyed the tall doors and the furniture was comfortable and clean. The mini fridge is bigger than most and the shelves are an added bonus. The closet is fairly large and made keeping suitacases tucked away convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area looking for a clean, safe, professionally managed place to stay.

Hotel staff was very kind and responsive. Well stocked breakfast with TWO! I repeat TWO different flavors of waffle mix! The hotel was clean, and room was well equipped with solid air conditioning, a microwave, a tea station and a refrigerator! If I was in the area again, I would think to stay here!

This hotel is near perfect! Great location, attractive design/decor, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, attentive service, good breakfast and probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Well done to all concerned! And as an added note the staff make the experience a 5 star they really go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed.

Stayed this past weekend, the experience was amazing. From the front desk staff to the kitchen staff, they made us feel welcome and right at home. Despite the desolate area, this hotel really stands out. It has great security features to ease the worry of the outside area. Overall, it was a great place to stay. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable stay, an ease on your budget and great service!!!

This is by far one of the cleanest hotel I have been to!!!The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful with everything. Bridget helped me with my internet connections and even helped me with find nearby areas. The staff were very friendly with me and my wife and checked on us daily to make sure rooms were clean. Breakfast was amazing everyday and they had everything from cereal, oatmeal eggs ,pancakes and coffee etc that was very convenient for us instead of eating out. This hotel was not that packed and the location is very convenient because of the nearby areas from auto shops to dinners . If you ever want to chill just you or the family in Washington or if you have someone on post to look for ,this is the spot. Also has a nice gym☺️💪🏿

Came to this property late at night after a 19 hour drive. The young man at the front desk (former Army NCO) was so welcoming and pleasant! The room was large and the bed was super comfortable. After a quick shower I drifted off until the next morning. Had breakfast on the couch in my room and was super refreshed and ready for the 22 hour drive back. Very happy I stayed here!

Great stay for four nights while on business in the Lakewood area. Staff was VERY helpful and friendly. My king suite had the expected amenities (large TV, sofa, desk area, coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave). Everything was very clean. Some wear on the hard furnishings but that's from inconsiderate guests and not cheap fixtures. WiFi was great and tested at 39 down/39 up. The breakfast included hot items each morning. Of note, the following items may or may not matter to you: room windows do not open, hotel is right next to train tracks but noise from passing trains was only minor, TV channel selection was limited to around 60 channels, my room only had a shower in the bathroom, you do need a car as the nearest restaurants are 1+ miles away, and plumbing/hallway/room to room sound proofing was good but I do use a white noise app to mask noise at night. The mid rise (5 stories) design helps keep hallway noise to a minimum with fewer rooms per floor. The location overall was great as I-5 was only 5 minutes away. Glad that I picked this hotel to stay at!
