My experience was first class from the moment I walked through the front door and was greeted immediately cordially by the receptionist, my wait time was absolutely minimal, the staff was very professional and informative, my doctor was absolutely first class informative, caring, and showed a true desire to address my problems. It was one lucky day for me when I made an appointment in Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists.

Rhaejon was great to work with. She came into the room prepared, having reviewed my chart and my knee condition. She explained (in simple terms) what was happening with my knee. She gave options for treatment. She was professional, attentive, and thorough. Excellent bedside manner.

Excellent care by a very attentive provider. Andrew spent considerable time reviewing the issues and damage involving my shoulder. His explanations were spot on and easily understood. The treatment options were explained and the one selected was very effective. Highly recommend this practice and Andrew specifically.

Wonderful staff here, they got me in quick and came up with a great game plan. I'm sending my husband there for anything he needs and I loved seeing PA Smilden, she answered all of my questions and had a caring and warm bed side disposition!

I got in to see someone very quickly. Andrew was very efficient & friendly, & super knowledgeable. Nicole (spelling?), is an absolute sweetheart, & very caring. I feel very well taken care of!

Excellent experience overall. My complaint was bilateral medial knee pain. Andrew got all the necessary history, ordered standing knee exrays which showed moderate medial compartment arthritis. He recommended intraarticular cortisone injections which were performed capably with minimal discomfort. He thoroughly explained the procedure, risks, benefits, etc. My knees are a bit better today & improvement. Thank you, Andrew David Duba, MD

The front room staff was wonderful and I was called back quickly once I checked in. Great staff greeted me kindly and processed me through vitals and x-rays. PA Sibley was thoughtful, kind, positive and encouraging. I felt like he really wanted to help me down my road to recovery and was incredibly knowledgeable.

The office was clean and welcoming. The staff were warm and welcoming. The PA was knowledgeable and asked great questions. This was a wonderful experience and throughout my appointment I felt like I was being cared for by experts in their field who cared about me!! I highly recommend this practice😊

Dr. Sibley was awesome! He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure to both my wife and I, which brought us both comfort. His compassion and willingness to explain the situation and answer our questions was refreshing to say the least!! I would highly recommend not only doc, but NWOS as a team!’

I’ve been a frequent flyer at Northwest Orthopedic over the last 6 years, they have taken wonderful care of my 57 year old body! 2 knee tears and a shoulder tear later and I’m in great shape, able to still compete at a high level at the sports I love, Rhaejon Smilden is currently working on a hip issue for me as well which I trust will be worked out soon!

I found that Dr. John Boyd was a great choice of finding an Orthopedic. He was caring a seemed trusting as well as thorough in all my issues. Considering my being new to the area and my first time experience with him I have nothing to say but good things. I highly recommend.

After enduring a frustrating couple of years of pain and lack of communication/care from the first two Podiatry Specialist, it was refreshing as well as hopeful that my ailment can finally be on a corrective path. Dr.Smilden was extremely thorough and concise with my pain management plan and offered a very doable plan for corrective result . I was very comfortable with her as she was explaining how my pain may come from two separate issues and what measures we can take to see what will be best for me. I really appreciated her! Doctor Kohring is absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a doctor make me feel so important, valued and like my health actually matters. I was a D1 athlete so I’ve dealt with a lot of medical staff and never have I ever experience such a caring physician. Such a pleasure

I visited two other doctors before finally making an appointment with Dr. Kohring. I wish I had just started with her! She was personable, knowledgeable, and respectful. She answered all my questions and the office was able to schedule my next appointments quickly and efficiently.

Totally unacceptable surgical wait time. An orthopedic surgeon takes his practice at face value when significant wait times resultant to overbooking patients for corrective procedures. I began this process last summer to replace a knee wrought with bone spurs, "hot" spots and degenerate bone change. The pain while walking ranges from severe to debilitating. Today, I was told that the replacement itself was another 6 to 9 months out. This would make the wait time 16 to 18 months. Whether the overbooking is the result of greed, or popularity of an individual doctor it still equates with unacceptable surgical wait time. Shame on NW Orthopedics.

I cannot recommend NWOS enough. When I was told that I needed ankle surgery four months before leaving on a 2,600 mile backpack on the Pacific Crest Trail, and right before Christmas, Dr. Kohring's team worked miracles to fit me into the schedule. The entire staff's kindness, excellence, and professionalism made all the difference in my whirlwind of getting a second opinion, surgery, and follow-up. Coming from New York City, where it can be difficult to find good providers or the time to be seen, NWOS felt very special and rare. Dr. Kohring herself is exceptional. Her ability to clearly communicate about my ankle injury, my options, and respond to my detailed questions was second-to-none. In addition to being an excellent (woman!) surgeon, her athletic background, friendliness, and empathy made me feel completely at ease, relaxed, and confident in her hands. She is a rare mixture of all the attributes you would hope to find in a doctor. I feel very lucky to have found her and cannot recommend her highly enough. She, and NWOS as a whole, would be my first choice for family or friends in need of orthopedic care.

Samuel Sibley,PA-C always does a great job of sorting out the symptoms and forming a treatment plan. My shoulder pain has been a serious problem for me. I’m relieved to be moving forward with scheduled treatments.

Dr.Kohring and her staff are amazing! I always feel that they listen and care whether it’s in person or over the phone. They have answered any questions I have had and in a timely manner. I feel comfortable and confident in the care they have provided and continue to provide. HIGHLY recommend!

Andrew Sibley is one of a kind! He is one of the very few Dr's that checked my med list to see what med's I take and what reactions I have had or what was best for me! He actually cares about you, his patience! I recommend him very, very highly! It is very hard to find a dr. who actually cares for (you) and doesn't treat you like another number!
