This is a hut in Maddawattha beach. Rent a surf board and order pancakes for breakfast or a lovely meal for dinner at once. Very friendly people. I still don't understand how they can make such good food and juices in the small hut. Until April they also had turtle-baby releases in the evening. Very popular with families and everybody else foreigner. Very good value.

Great family restaurant right on the beach with amazing rice and Curry, roti and fresh king coconut. We were eating there every day and really enjoyed their food. You can also rent surfboard or just enjoy chilling on beautiful beach. Highly recommend.

The food is really good here and the owners are nice. We came here very often when we visited the area, and we will gladly come again. As a bonus, you get to see baby turtles being released into the ocean around sunset time quite often (say, 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 visits).

A must for a authentic Sri Lanka Experience! It is a lovely family that own and operate this restaurant. The food is AMAZING, fresh, and made with love. The location is perfect sitting on the beach watching the surfers in the ocean. They are open everyday from early to late. I will come back here 100%

We have been in Sri Lanka for a month, and the rice and curry we had here was truely one of the best we have had! It was made with love, was fresh and hot, and was made with delicious ingredients. More importantly are the people behind this restaurant. We spoke with them for nearly an hour about many aspects of life. They showed us so much love, and were so giving and welcoming. A true gem of a place run by great people. Visit this restaurant and introduce yourself to the family who run it. 💕

Burgers (we took chicken and fish) were a little too salty, other than that, tasty. Very good for the price. Can recommend.

Very friendly. Great spot on the beach. Lit a mozzie stick under our table. Beer is available if you ask. Reasonably priced. Just wish my king prawns were actually fresh and not frozen. Frozen seafood goes mushie, fresh doesn't.
