Wonderful experience. Good quality of food served. Quantity was satisfying. Costly for middle class people but worthy to spend. Environment was good. Bathroom is very much updated and clean. Kid friendly atmosphere and interior design is noticeable.

I visited Ahdoos after reading about it online. It was lunch time on a weekend. The place can easily be categorized as a fine dine. This place is quite popular amongst tourists. I was lucky to get a place as 10 minutes after I arrived, the place got absolutely full and the waiting line just got bigger. The place has an elaborate menu and is ideal if you go there on large groups. They have a build your own Trami (thali) for 900 bucks that i found to be slightly on the expensive side. The most popular cuisine there are wazvan. Rogan Josh and rumali roti seemed to be popular on the tables. I tried their tandoori chicken and got a coke to pair with it. It's priced at 350 for a half serving that is enough for a single person. The quality was average and certainly not woth the price. Plus they do not serve finger bowls. Even if they do, i wasnt served. Though the ambience is good. They have a private dining hall and an outdoor dining too. Parking during rush hours can be tough. For 2 wheelers as well, the parking is not very easy. It does not have a wheelchair friendly parking or entrance. The washrooms are clean. The owner really tries hard to accommodate everyone and is very polite.

One of the rare places in Srinagar with a classy ambience. We found a lot of places with good authentic Kashmiri food but this was the only place in the heart of the city that checked off our list for its service as well as nice atmosphere. Must try- Phirni and mutton rogan josh Food - 4/5 Ambience- 5/5 Service Promptness-5/5 Location - 5/5

I've visited this place multiple times and quality of their food never disappoints. Food is little oily though. And price is also on higher end. Service and ambience are up to the mark. This place is crowded during peak hours and you might need to wait to get a table, so do plan accordingly.

The trami was super delicious, but the veg food was strictly okay. Kashiniri naan was good as well. Our server was very helpful. He asked if it was our first time having wazwan and helped us order according and even bought some extra things for us to taste.

Not a place for vegetarians. Ambiance is good. Place have a vibe of the Kashmiri food. Not much options for vegetarians. Still you will like whatever they serve. Kashmir naan is must try. It is very heavy but worth. They have beautiful open air sitting as well.

The best destination in town for Vegetarians 🌱. They serve amazing vegetarian Kashmiri specialties. We had a Kashmiri Naan and Pudina Paratha with Nadroo (Lotus Stem) Yakhni and Karam Saag. All of them were very well prepared and presented and absolutely delicious. We ended our visit with a serving of Phirni which was also lovely. The ambience was nice and the service was fast. Will definitely recommend Ahdoos to anyone looking for great Kashmiri vegetarian options in the heart of Srinagar.

Was really hoping to try some authentic kashmiri wazwan and one of my kashmiri friend recommended Adhoos. I ordered the Trami(build your own thali) . Got Rista, Gustaba and Rogan Josh in non veg and Tomato Paneer and Dum aloo in veg. I also ordered a Walnut Tart(bestseller) from the bakery downstairs. Likes : Methi Maz was just great with rice so was the kebab. Rista and Gustaba are meatball dishes. Rista has traditional onion, ginger garlic type red gravy and Gustaba yogurt based sour gravy.I liked Rista better. Best item(s) : The Rogan Josh was one of the best I tasted. The Walnut Tart was just out of the world.I will get it again before I leave Kashmir Could be better : The Paneer Tomato was too sweet for me and the Tabak Maz needed a little more salt .The price was a bit on the higher side too.Hence one less star. The bakery definitely deserves full 5 stars.

Delicious experience of Kashmiri biriyani and kebabs. Must try here when you’re in town. My wife’s friend recommended and it was worthy.

I went here for some authentic Kashmiri food and had Quinch apple curry and roti. What an absolute pleasure it turned out to be, it’s served with radish chutney and laccha onion. This dish is very seasonal and is only available during a specific time. The pricing is on the heavier side but boy what a treat! If you want authentic Kashmiri cuisine, this is one of the places to be.

One of the best restaurants in Srinagar to try authentic Kashmiri cuisines. It is usually very buzy in the evenings and you might have to wait a bit for your order. Ambiance is lovely and seating is comfortable. They too have bakery on the ground floor which has some ambrosial cakes & pastries.

Went to Ahdoos based on the reviews, and I was not disappointed. I already knew what to order so went for the customizable thali or Tamri. Had Rista, Goshtaba, Rogan Josh with Kashmiri Saag and Nadru Yakhani. Food was good, but oily, especially the saag. Atleast 1 tablespoon floating on my small bowl. Overall the food was good, rista was spicy and Goshtaba was more of a yoghurt based gravy. Rogan Josh was good too, had better in Srinagar though. For the price 998 including GST, I felt the portion size could be improved.

A must try restaurant in Kashmir 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Service was excellent Great ambience for a fine dining Food delicious Tried the famous wazwaan thaali, authentic kashmiri kehwa and walnut tart with icecream. Wazwaan thaali was great with many non veg and veg wazwaan choices which u can select from their list. All were good in taste. Kehwa tasted so rich and unique with pure saffron smell and taste. Walnut tart is a must must try item. Never miss it. It was so yummy even after having a full meal. Overall good experience. Little expensive, but worth spending considering the ambience and quality of food.

On recommendation, we visited the restaurant for lunch. You take the stairs up to the restaurant. It opens up into a sprawling seating place with a segregated area that I reckon would be family dining. Service is prompt but can get a bit chaotic when busy. Ample staff to cater to your needs Food arrived with some delays, but that could be down to busy times. We ordered certain paneer and chicken dishes The dishes themselves were alright, though Kashmiri Naan was outstanding!! Good restaurants to experience once. There are others that need to be tried as well.

I have the pleasure of experiencing traditional Kashmiri Wazwan at Adhoos. It was very flavorful and delicious, Tabak Maaz especially was a standout dish. The hospitality and ambience is top notch.

If you want to taste authentic Kashmiri food the is the only place. We just told our waiter that we have come to Kashmir for the first time and asked him to get whatever is famous. He filled our table with so many dishes. OMG i just loved the food here. Its pure indulgence. Must visit

The Restaurant is more than 105 years old...They are know for their traditional Wazwan one serving costs Rs 1150 per serving and sadly cannot be shared...Coming to Wazwan the Dum aloo and the Rogan gosh stand out in would recommend to order these dishes separately instead of going for the traditional Wazwan.

One of the best restaurants for Kashmiri wazwan or cuisines. We ordered Yakhni Pulao, Kashmiri vegetable pulao, lotus stem or nadroo curry with meat yakhni and rogan josh. The unique taste of the meal is still remarkably reminiscent in our taste buds. The service and ambiance is just top notch. Kashmir trip would not be complete without dining here.

As recommended by tourists and locals alike, tried out their Wazwan( Kashmiri Cuisine) for the very first time and it didn't disappoint. It had a setup of Trami( including main course of Rice, Mutton Ribs gravy, Gushtaba, Dum Aloo, Rogan Josh, Haak Saag, Rista) Absolutely delicious and tasty!

👍👍 This place has become one of the best and most famous cafès in Srinagar area. I have personally seen them grow and improve from tin chairs to sophisticated seating, from coffee, chowmin, kanti to the complicated dishes...amazing! Lot of improvement in terms of decor as well as food variety and taste...
