We were 11 people and we got an entire houseboat for 1 night and it has a royal interior which gives royal vibes, it was really beautiful. Also the staff is very friendly and cooperative. Even food was delicious made with proper hygiene. We had absolutely wonderful experience, expecting to visit again. ❤️

There are good houseboats, there are bad houseboats and there are average houseboats. BUT Have you ever heard about a FRAUD houseboat!!! Welcome to Wagnoo Sheraton and Zafar Group of houseboats. We had booked 2 houseboats in Wagnoo Sheraton through a travel agency more than 1 month in advance. but when we arrived we were given rooms in Zafar houseboat. when we conveyed our concerns, they said both are same. That Zafar is only name of the boat. Group is Wagnoo only. But we found out there was flag of zafar group on top of boat. All crockery had logos of Zafar. Then they agreed that this is zafar and started saying owner of both is same. What we had to do with owner?? Then they said both boats are totally same. But there were stark differences. There was no proper terrace in ours and rooms were not centralised cooled as claimed by them. Never ever book Housboat in wagnoo sheraton and Zafar. Really fraud guys and blatant liars. Moreover rooms are stinky. Location is not good.

Stayed 2 days there. Super, Convenient & Good looking and majestic boat house. Food taste is also great. Impressed Aadhil bro hospitality 🤩 Missing his Kashmiri Kawa ☕

Stinky rooms. When we asked why the smell is coming they simply said to cover the toilet lid and stink will stop. Some of the wooden logs in the bot are about to break making it a huge security issue. Food was the only good thing.

What a stay we had at zaffer group of houseboats. The services is very good and the hospitality is also very good. The view for the houseboats is majestic. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

we were a group of 4 people staying there for a night. the houseboat was nicely kept and was very hygenic. the boat keeper provided excellent service as well, and guess what? he was so amiable that we became friends with him that evening!! Adil treated us like his own and provided us many mouth watering delicacies. mind you it was -1° that night and we were shivering though the heater was on and out of a sudden Adil brought us hot water packs without us asking. do i really have to say more? the stay was absolutely worth it and it was the best out of the best stay ever! don’t hesitate, this houseboat is the best pick out of all. thank you for the warm welcome Adil!! we will never forget you.

The boat itself was a peace of art, the staff was very friendly like VERY. The only reason am giving it a 3 star is because the food tasted nothing special and when ever we came outside to sit and enjoy the view the boat venders kept coming and disturbed our peace. Like dude we are on vacation, leave us be but they were so stubborn and wouldn't leave until I told them to 5-6 times.

I arrived with my family. I was greeted by Adil who was the care taker of our House Boat named Golden Lotus. As soon as we entered the House Boat we were amazed with the interiors of the Boat. As we entered there was seating area and there was gate to get inside, than there was hall with TV, small library, sofa. The next room was dinning area with sitting area of 8 person. Than there was a staircase for the roof there was sitting area as well. Next there was room accommodation for 3 people with personal bathroom with bath tub. Next there was another suite room which was very big with sofa inside. There was Wifi available here. The interiors was great. We were welcomed here with complimentary tea. The care taker was also very good. The staff was very accommodative. My mom did not eat anything from the buffet, so they made a dish of her preference specially so that she would eat, I liked that about them. We took pictures from the House Boat and all were really good because the background was scenic. There were Shikaras, greenery and a few snow capped mountains . The workmanship in the House Boat was amazing. There sellers use to visit us from Shikara to buy their products like Clothes , Jewellery, Special Kashmiri Kahwa , handicrafts Items and lot . It was one of the most amazing experience I've ever had.

Best location for stay on the lake. Not crowded as the dal lake. Wasim was very helpful and took me to the chemist when needed. Food is good, they have veg and non veg options.

We, a family of three visited Zafferbhai Deluxe houseboat on 25/11/23 on a single day stay. Since our houseboat was on Nigeen lake, we had to leave our shopping at Lal chowk midway to hurry to the houseboat as it gets pretty dark around 6pm in this time of the year. But as we reached the shore, the service was amazing. We were immediately picked up by a shikara guy who loaded all our heavy bags & in the shikara smoothly dropped us to our houseboat in 10 minutes. On the boathouse we were greeted by Mr Wasim who was very courteous in his approach. The food was above average. The water was very hot & so was the food. Only problem is that due to government regulations the warmer is switched off at 11 pm. You are given a hot water bag for the later. We checked out at 8am sharp as we had an early flight. Breakfast was on table at 7:30 & shikara guy was there at 7:45. I really admire the punctuality, coming from Mumbai. I would recommend a day’s stay at Zafferbhai’s deluxe houseboat. Just disconnect from the crowd and enjoy the serenity of the lake. P.S : The moon looks awesome & so does the early morning sun. Don’t forget to click a few snaps.

Beautiful stay, amazing service and pleasant atmosphere. Must visit place. Aadhil was our caretaker and he was very kind and approachable. He ensured that we are comfortable and all our needs are met. This boat house was more than beautiful. one of my wonderful experiences in Srinagar.

The houseboat is in a great location away from crowded Dal lake. The interiors are so nice and feel Royal. The rooms are good. The food taste is excellent and homely. Staff are friendly and polite. Only issue we faced was the room heater was not switched on as the staff told it would be available only from November. We slept in damn cold. Advice to management is room heater should be available on need basis. The rate can be adjusted as appropriate. Otherwise, great stay !

Houseboat is booked for get experience. Here I'm sharing honest review. Checkin approx at 9:15 pm Checkout on next day approx at 7 am ❌ No wifi ( received password but not connected) ❌ No lights ( just gone after checkin) Food is okay

Very fantastic and a epic experience antique architecture interior oerall experience is very good. staff is also good. room services also good, just there is a room heater which is not there run more than 2 to 3 hours take gap so fill chilling in midnight.dining is also nice. Well adjusted bathroom and toilets. Missing TV and music system, unbelievable experience on floating above water in the lake.

Excellent experience. These houseboats are stationed in famous Nigeen lake. You arrive at one side of the lake while houseboats are at the other end i.e. across the lake so they take you to these houseboats through small electric driven 50 seater boat which is about 5 - 7 mins ride. On reaching the other side, there is a wooden platform to get into the houseboats. Each of the houseboats have about 3 rooms. Each room contains 3 beds, 1 double and 1 single bed along with dressing table, chair etc. Attached bathroom with bath tub and western toilet. The walls of these rooms are high quality wood with heavy carving. Room also has heater which they use during peak winter. Apart from this, there are common rooms like Drawing rooms with TV, Dining room with dining table, kitchen etc. In a way, it is like 3 BHK flat but floating. It is said that each of these houseboats cost between INR 5 crores - INR 7 crores. They don't move around but are parked adjacent to the land. So, when you come out of the houseboats, you can roam around in the open space which is full greenary and where they have planted several trees which bear different types of fruits. They also have handicraft goods, some dresses and all at very low price than the market. In the dining room, they served Tea / Coffee. Food was available in a common place outside these houseboats. It was very good taste. Staff was highly polite, professional and helpful.

The location is the absolutely best, very silent and peaceful and view is incredible especially Zavarwan and Mahadev can be seen very clearly and Lake Nigeen is life to my eyes. Houseboats are also very beautifully decorated.

Luxury, comfort and hospitality .. you will fibd all together at Zaffer Houseboats. As we approached the Nigeen bank, Ferry had reached to sail us to the houseboat. Mr Gulam Nabi himself along with Mr Fayaz welcomed us. The houseboat in itself is extremely well crafted and well maintained by the owners and caretakers. Food served is homely.
