I am a well traveled customer from Australia. I normally stay in 5 star facilities. I have never been charged extra for a extra bed in any hotel. This hotel is like bank Robbers in broad day light. Hotel stinks of old timber and carpets. Property is dilapidated. No mesh on the windows. Towels are old and over used. We paid Rs 30,000 and requested for a extra bed . They asked for Rs 4130 per night for a extra bed. Also food and alcoholic drinks are so expensive compared to the service. Ask for a drink and wait is so long. $40 for a Chivas Regal 60ml. $40-$50 you can buy a full bottle. Breakfast buffet doesn’t have any dry fruits and the menu is pretty average. Eggs, bacon and chicken sausages are low quality forget about smoked salmon. Absolutely disappointed look for another hotel if you are looking for value for money.

One will find this place as if he is in Raja Maharajas palace. And Comparatively Lalit has the best food quality wrt to Vivanta. Worth spending some valuable time with family.

Stayed here to celebrate my girl friends b'day. They helped me with a cake, and some baloon decorations which was a pleasant surprise for me, but other than that the service was very cold. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and kinda expect a very warm hospitality which was lacking here. The rooms are expensive and I paid almost 25k for one night, and for this cost the service is definitely not at par. They can also improve the room service, they keep forgetting stuff and you generally have to remind them and the hotel wasn't even at 10% capacity.

I went there for Lunch and had a nightmare. Ordered a Tandoori Chicken Pizza and Chicken Soup. Awful taste and worst service. They even didn't bother to know how food tasted and honestly I had planned on telling the truth. I guess they already knew it was awful and then I asked for the bill and It came after half an hour. It was a horrific experience. May be lodging services are good but restaurant is pathetic. Don't go.

Our overall experience was awesome...the food was very delicious...the chef, Hardeep Sharma was a very polite and sweetly speaking person in general...the ambience is just something you would want with your family when you come here for outing. Whole staff is really polite and generous. They pay attention towards you and your demands sincerely and generously...

Thank you The Lalit Grand Palace Srinagar for your heart warming hospitality. We stayed for 3 nights. We had an amazing time there. Staff are so kind and helpful. The view we get is just treat to your eyes and the food is delicious. A special shout out for Pintu ji from front office, such a charming person he is. He gave us a wonderful tour of the property rich with history and culture. Thank you so much for such wonderful memories.

A beautiful locale where the hotel is located on the banks of world famous Dal Lake. The scenery is breathtaking with the Lake on frontside and Zabarwan mountain range on the backside. The hotel is thronged by tourists, domestic and foreign. We were at the hotel to enjoy the evening and we had grilled chicken and mutton Kanti and tea at the open restaurant. The food was of high quality. The sunset at the hotel was worth watching. We had a great time at the hotel and the cool evening breeze was refreshing. Will go there once more to enjoy another evening as autumn sets in Kashmir.

There are plenty of home stays and hotels in Srinagar. But, if you are looking the best destination for a reception party and a comfortable stay for your guests, then pick The LaLiT Grand Palace Srinagar. I assure you won’t be disappointed. It has witnessed key events in India’s history and proudly keeps adding stars to its royal legacy. The surrounding Himalayan ranges and cottages overlooking the scenic Dal Lake adds to its beauty. The spectacular shopping arcade complements its charm. The quality of services and amenities are unmatched. My cousin got married here and to every single person, it became the most memorable experience.

The LaLiT Grand Palace Srinagar is the best place not only for weddings but also for other events and family occasions. Whether you are planning a grand birthday party for your better-half, or your first anniversary surprise party, the arrangement and services offered by the hotel will amaze you and your guests. I have fallen in love with this place ever since I attended a wedding here. Besides other things, it has an all-weather indoor pool to help you relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. It will undoubtedly remain my first choice amongst the best hotels in Srinagar.

Beautiful property with a vast expanse of greenery as far as the eyes can see. Good food. However there should be more variety of healthy evening snacks available instead of just sandwiches and pakoras. More so when one checks in late afternoon as the flight lands after 2:30 pm which is way past the lunch time. Breakfast spread is good. On our second visit the rooms were not provided with complimentary fruit platter which is norm in all five star hotels. This was done only at night that too after a few reminders.

The only issue was service, but other than that the property and the view, both were spectacular. Since it is a hotel inside the Palace of a king, the antique furniture with modern tech makes it a very special place to live in. The service however, leaves much to be desired. Despite calling twice we inky received our essentials(things we had asked the room service to provide) after having an intensive conversation with the Hotel Manager.

Good hotel, was in room 2003. But some service issues, which are serious. Like cups for tea, put in room, were dirty and kept without cleaning after use, when I checked it first. I have kept the cups as used to check whether it is being cleaned next day or not. Sorry to note that those were again not cleaned. If the rooms are not hygienic, what opinion we will form about kitchen. Otherwise it is well placed, comfortable and good rooms and good service.

Excellent location. Not far from dal lake . Excellent view and generally best weather always. Just recheck that there are no floods and too much much of snowfalls .

Designed and built by Maharaja Pratap Singh in 1910, The LaLiT Grand Palace stands witness to key events in India’s history and proudly continues the royal legacy with élan. Encircled by the Himalayan ranges and overlooking picturesque Dal Lake, it operates 113 well-equipped palace guest rooms, including 10 cottages boasting of magnificent decor and over 4,000 square feet of banqueting space, conference facilities, and a shopping arcade

It has been a pleasant experience at The Lalit Grand Palace. Staff have been very courteous and on point in all aspects of our stay at Palace. Special mention to Pintu for taking care of our all requirements. Special thanks to Reception and F&B Team and we really enjoyed our stay in hotel and worth its value. Will be coming again

Lovely hotel with great ambience. Reasonable food but the real magic is in the location. Stunningly nestled on the bank of the Dal Lake with the mountains immediately behind. Unbeatable...

Great location, huge property with large gardens, huge Chinar trees. The original palace wing is grand and a paradise for people who love palaces and everything else that goes with it. A good place to be also for hindi film aficionados. Quiet a few films shot here.

Decent stay but too many issues with the hotel. I stayed there 18th August-19th August 2022. Throughout my stay I had to leave room door open since the keys were not working. I was told that it is ok since security is not an issue. I have been requesting the hotel for a receipt for hotel expenses (to put in company) and have not been given one! Highly unprofessional for a 5 star hotel. My credit card has been charged but no receipt given. Hotel told me that I would be emailed and I have called hotel min 5 times. Now hotel has started cutting my phone. Incredibly unprofessional. Look for alternate accommadation since even though hotel is nice - it has too many issues at the price point it charges.

It’s a very old property but clean. For dinner I ordered a mutton Rogan josh didn’t tasted the right. Breakfast buffet was great good choices of southern style.

There's literally nothing I can add here, it's always a mighty pleasure to be at this hotel. Starting from the staff to the grandeur, everything is in sync. Property itself has history to be proud of. Always an experience of forgetting the worldly affairs. Every visit is mesmerizing.

For booking my hotel on our trip to Kashmir, my brother suggested that we book our stay at The Lalit Grand Palace Srinagar which is a 5 star hotel in Srinagar Kashmir. We booked our stay there and were very happy with all the services we were offered there. The warm hospitality by the service staff is something that we will always remember. Just loved the place.

Absolute bad decision to go and have a family lunch at this place. Below avg food, the ambiance is like a 2 star hotel and the prices are over hyped and over the top. The service is below avg. overall one of the worst experiences.

The LaLiT Srinagar has been the best hotel I have visited so far. Its opulent, rich in terms of infrastructure, grand and I just love how the staff takes care of everything. From spa to valet parking, convenience is just a call away here. Special mention to the restaurant The Chinar serving delectable food. All in all, a memorable experience!

Kashmir is synonymous to heaven. There are good 5 star hotels in Kashmir, however, none of them can be compared to The LaLiT Grand Palace Srinagar. Just perfect in terms of location, amenities and world-class service. Had come here with my family and was enchanted. Experience it for yourself and I bet you will thank me for life for this life-time affair.

Such a beautiful property. We are staying here at the moment but unfortunately the service is deplorable!! Breakfast is a mess. So many service guys roaming around like headless chicken!! Last night our Biryani came with a raita that had gone off. By the time they replaced it we were done with dinner!! It’s only a 5 star in name! Awful service!!

I would rate Lalit Grand is the best choice and must go place for Srinagar. The hotel staff is so nice and ambience, food and rooms will meet your expectation. When you check in ask for property visit so you get the place very well. The chariot ride is pick of the tour. And in one word you will feel royal 😎

I travelled with my family to Srinagar, and we stayed at the Lalit Grand Palace Srinagar for 1 night. The hotel is spread over 350 acres and looks beautiful at the first sight itself. There are many activities to be explored around the property, and a walk around the grounds will leave you mesmerised by the stunning mountains surrounding it. The service by the hotel staff was great. Starting from the check-in procedures to the in-room dining, service each time was exceptional. We were provided with a hotel tour by one of the hotel staff members. The breakfast on the open grounds was another noteworthy feature of our stay.
