It is a newly constructed hospital located in Kaksarai - Doog Ganga Rd, Maidanpora, Karan Nagar, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. Well the ambience and room quality is good and some of the famous doctors of Kashmir valley like Dr naseer, Dr parvaiz, Dr qazi are available there for consultation. heard so many negatives about the prices for surgery and room stays, one night icu charge is 8000 and 5000 additional for oxygen. If you want doctor to visit you again in night then they will charge you 1000 rupees for per visit. A patient there told me he was charged 2 lakh for a surgery which cost his relative 40000 in shifa hospital. Car parking is available, the security lady on the front door is rude and other things were okay. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. The consultation charge is 350 rupees. Per night room charge is 4500 rupees.

First let me clear that this review is for Medicare hospital which is newly opened in Karan nagar near SMHS hospital. I saw people here are giving for Medicare digonotic which are also in Karan Nagar but near Mughal Darbar. So please guys check the exact adress before giving reviews. Service are good. Hospital facilities are good Staff is polite unless and until you will Eritate them. Prices are High which isn't a new thing in private hospitals in kashmir. Car parking available. Simply pathetic service , was here for PET scan of my father , after over night fasting and its afternoon now as still nothing . Shocking to see they treat patients like animals making them wait in small cells on small chairs with no covid safety measures, the staff are moving in and out wearing shoes in all areas of the hospital ,poorinfection control . Seems the doctors working in this hospital also have forgot basics of healthcare otherwise they would have internally raised these issues and solved them.Understandibly they either have no say or are just bothered for their pity consultation fees. SHAME!

The staff at Medicare Diagonists karan nagar is worst of all. Over crowded place. I had one of the worst experiences there. I left without doing the required tests. The lady at the receptionist was so rude dated 01.04.2022.

I was going through all the reviews here and noted repeated comments about high charges, quality of reports ( which is the biggest of all concerns now), unfriendly and unprofessionally managed. Had visited for PET scan and were asked to report at 8 to 8:30 am. The patient was asked to fast starting last midnight and we expected the scan will start by 10 am which sounds reasonable. However it's 11.30 am now patients are all made to sit in congested rooms which can just occupy a 3 seater bench and 3 different patients are sitting in small 6 x 3 ft room ( like we heard about jail cells). All patients are extremely stressed been made to wait endlessly without any clear indication of when scan will happen. They are hungry, thirsty and looking at wall just a feet away from face and cursing their own luck which made them vulnerable to such a physical and psychological torture despite paying a hefty amount. I don't understand is it so difficult actually to streamline and offer professional services patients deserve? Feels sad to admit such a poor performance and service by a Kashmiri managed hospital. For sure leaving aside high cost - the waiting time, lack of planning patient queue and quality of reports is something extremely concerning! Hope good sense prevails on management and they address these issues, but simultaneously it opens door for outside state companies to jump in and provide good service which patients deserve and am sure all will welcome!

Tried calling for information about if certain tests are being done there or not, call was not answered multiple times, and when answered it was dropped in mid conversation. If you don't want people to call please remove your contact information. Unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. This is a public sector here you have to deal with people and answer their queries if you find it hectic and frustrating please quit with honour and respect. Ps It's patients who want information, patients with real worries.

No time management . They informed me to reach at 8:30am for echocardiogram for one of my known and doctor was no where upto 10am. They have their own parking and they even take parking charges of Rs 30. It seems patient care is less their they are more oriented towards business and grabbing money.

Just went for an MRI to Medicare. Everything was neat and clean, organised and benches were also available. The MRI room looked very advanced and updated. But it would be highly appreciated if the MRI people *carefully check by themselves* for any metal before performing MRI just incase we might forget something. Prices are high though. But neatness is well taken care of.

Poor in providing lab reports well in time. My patient had ct scan full body on 11th of Oct and today is 19th of October and the CD of test is yet to burn. Moreover when I asked to burn it immediately and the receptionist is asking for more money. Who will tell them that negligence on your part may worsen the condition of patients. Owner u must think before u hire such receptionist. Absolutely rubbish.

Very expensive hospital with low hospitality. My surgery was done in this hospital but nurses of this hospital are very bad only some of them care well , maximum nurse staff are looking for money, they ask money from anyone and everyone , they did not care whom we should ask for money, even they ask money from patients with pain of gb removal. 2 nurses inject me every painkiller at same place on hip for 2 days continuously as a result of this my hip develop abses within days, my surgeon told me it needs to be drained but i have small kid drain is not possible for me, i took medicines for long it shrinked but after stoped medication for a week it develops again, now i am very stressed what to do, i wish i got the time to meet those nurses again who did this to me. I will teach them a good lesson ever they wont forget that. They play with patients health.

The best part of this hospital is on every wall there is written don’t pay any attendant but everyone will keep asking for money, they don’t call it bribe they call it (chai). Even the management is aware of this they got cctv everywhere but seems they get cut from it. Nice

Although the staff is very coordinating and helpful, the doctors are unprofessional. Being one of the expensive diagnostic center, the time management is so pathetic. Patients are made to wait 3 hours for the tests that could be done in just few minutes.
