Location was excellent. Property including parking and room in general was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The town was very nice. A few areas that could have been better. 1) Room was not ready at promised arrival time an did not receive notification as promised when room was ready. 2) No daily housekeeping service provided which was not a show stopper for a 5 day stay; however, it took 3 requests (front desk, text message reply and finally stopping a housekeeping staff member in the hall) to get fresh towels and other amenities. Didn't find out about the lack of housekeeping service until I received a text message on the morning of the 3rd day...would be better to be upfront and establish expectations early. 3) Finally, the tile floors in the room were filthy and need to be mopped and cleaned more frequently. After walking around the room barefooted for a short time, the bottom of my feet were black. Shower was nice so a little soap, scrubbing and spare pair of socks for the remainder of the stay took care of it. For items 1 & 2, improve on setting expectations as well as follow through. For item 3, consider a deep cleaning to start followed up by daily light cleaning.

We just finished a two night stay at 124 on Queen and I so wish I could give a 5/5 review, however there were a few parts of our stay that weren't quite up to our expectations. Firstly, we were upgraded to a beautiful King One Bedroom which was great - the room was nicely renovated and large - but the floors seemed like they had a bit of a residue on them. This lead to the floors being a bit slippery and we felt like our feet were dirty when barefoot. The complimentary robes and slippers were a nice touch though. Secondly, we were lucky enough to be able to use the Hydrotherapy Circuit twice during our stay which was lovely. The hot pool, steam room, snow room and sauna were all so relaxing. The unfortunate part about our spa experience was the change room floors were filthy (appeared to not have been swept/mopped after closing the night prior), the bathing suit bags were not stocked, the sauna was not properly set up for the days use, there were clumps of hair and used cups around the hot pool deck, there was scum in each corner of the hot pool, and there were no sandals available to use around the pool deck. While these may seem like nit picky items, when paying almost $100 for this circuit, there is an expectation that things will be prepped and ready for the spa users. To end on a high note, we had breakfast at Treadwell's each morning and it was fantastic! We wish we had taken advantage of their prix-fixe dinner menu - this is on our list for next time as is the hotel lounge. It is very modern, bright and nicely decorated and we will be getting a drink there next time! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at 124 on Queen and will visit again.

Just spent two nights at this exquisite hotel and loved every aspect of our stay! The hotel is located right in the heart of Niagara on the Lake and is a very close drive to several amazing wineries. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. We had a Signature Deluxe King room that was stunning. From the fireplace to the beautiful bathroom with rain shower and large soaking tub-it was the perfect winter getaway! It's the little amenities that make this hotel stand out-Nespresso machines in the room, lovely robes, underground parking and a quaint and quiet atmosphere. During our stay, we were able to visit the spa for a hydrotherapy circuit that was relaxing and the perfect way to start off the morning before heading out for some wine tasting. Looking forward to our next stay already!

Stayed here on July 4th with my family. Great location and staff were very friendly but the room was so incredibly hot last night. My toddler and we were sweating all night unfortunately. The AC wouldn’t go beyond a certain temp and we were just too tired to go down to reception. Staying here again with friends later this month but hopefully we won’t have the same problem! Other than that the room was nice, clean, modern and spacious. The restaurant looks great too but we didn’t end up eating there.

We stayed at the Hotel apartment in King Street only 5 mins walk from hotel where we had breakfast. Food excellent both at breakfast and the 4 course dinner which was exceedingly good. High quality of food and service. Incredibly comprehensive wine list.

I would give 124 on Queen a 10+++ star rating if I could. from parking/to check in/to tranquility circuit/to our room/to the lounge/the spa/the ENTIRE property.....EVERY single thing is EXCELLENT. The property is immaculate, the team on staff are polite, helpful, efficient, friendly and genuinely seem happy to be working. Hotel hallways are quiet, the rooms are well designed and quiet with clean and comfort being top notch. My husband and I will absolutely return to Q124, I will return for our annual girls weekend...counting the sleeps until we can!

Excellent experience at 124 on Queen. The staff here are incredible. Very welcoming and hospitable. The grounds and space itself are beautiful. The cocktails and food are even better if you can believe. If you are lucky to have Kaya as your bartender, you’re in for a treat. We will be back for sure.

beautiful hotel and great staff. However, the room we stayed in, while very nice had issues. the bathroom had no hooks to hang towels and the door to the bathroom was quite heavy.the handicapped button was apparently malfunctioned. also, the rainfall shower had very low water pressure. If these were not involved, I'd give the hotel a much higher rating.

We had an amazing stay here last week and will return 100% in future. From the moment we walked in we loved the hotel. Amber, Debbie and the rest of the front desk staff were very friendly and super helpful in assisting us with where to go for dinner and even with travel arrangements to and from the wineries. We had an unexpected upgrade to our room which was so nice for our couples getaway, the King suite was spacious, with a nice couch area and a kitchen area, it was a bonus to have two toilets as well. The bar staff was also so friendly and made the most amazing drinks!! The Spa part of the hotel also has an amazing hydrotherapy area with so many different options, we spent an afternoon there and really enjoyed all the different sensory experiences. Thank you for a nice week away to end off the year!

Came to the NOTL bar and restaurant for a casual dinner. The food was okay, the service was okay, the ambiance was very nice. Sunny day, with the patio doors open, and we sat inside. Would recommend it given its one of the more modern feeling places in the old historic downtown. Don't expect anything amazing with the food; you could just come for a snack or some drinks and it would be just as nice an experience.

This is the best updated modern hotel in NOTL area. Very clean and spacious rooms. Beautiful bathrooms. Patio in the summer was nice to grab a bite and enjoyed a drink at the bar. Would recommend and will stay here again!

Lovely location and friendly and helpful staff, but we were very disappointed in the rooms overall. We stayed at one of the "off site" suites, as we had a larger group and the description sounded very good for having everyone close together but with private space. The rooms certainly did not meet the expectation of a 4-star property. They were clean but dated, the in-room coffee in the main room was stale, the other two rooms just had some sad Keurig machines which didn't really meet the morning needs. There was no cream/milk/sugar provided. Staff when called (the "quick text" number did not get any reply) did their best and brought us some from the Starbucks next door. Bathrooms were tiny, showers were lacklustre with not so much as a shelf for soap/shampoo. Little inconveniences like the lighted mirror in the bathroom not working and a wobbly headboard seemed to be throughout our suite. None of the outlets had any USB ports for charging devices. We never did figure out how to turn on the fireplace in the main room. we did not take in any of the offerings of the main spa, dining or hotels, as we were arriving late and leaving early, and were really looking forward to a stay in some nice luxury space without having to worry about little details like hunting down cream for our morning coffee.

We had a lovely stay at 124 on Queen. We were only there for a couple nights but had a great time and are looking forward to visiting again. All the staff we worked with were very friendly and attentive. The rooms themselves were clean and modern. My only comment is that you aren't allowed to change the thermostat and have to ask the front desk to change it. This would normally be fine but the thermostat kept jumping around for no reason. There was a time when it told us it was defrosting and was set to 10.5 degrees.

After a long and stressful year, I booked a short getaway at 124 on Queen Hotel and Spa. The experience far exceeded my expectations. When booking my reservation, Amber, patiently answered all my questions. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The food at NOTL was delicious and the hotel, restaurant and spa staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, we had a wonderful time and feel refreshed. PI definitely plan to return.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. The hotel was stylish, clean, comfortable and in a perfect location (you could walk everywhere!). Everyone we encountered who worked there was friendly, helpful, and engaging. Our room was amazing. We loved the fireplace in the room and the fire-pit outside. It would be great though if there was regular housekeeping service and you did not have to call/text for service. We had a great time during out stay and cannot wait to come back to this gem again!

My recent stay with my husband was really lovely. The hotel blends modern luxury with classic elegance. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and my suite had a supremely comfortable bed! The staff provided us with warm and attentive service and of our lunch at Treadwell was exceptional. For us though, the highlight was the hydrotherapy circuit. It was so clean and pretty, we left feeling light as air! The hotel is also smack dab in the middle of town, meaning you’re in the centre of a place that just oozes charm. I would certainly return for another city escape!

What a great hotel. We stayed there a few years ago towards the tail end of the construction and renovations, and we enjoyed it then. This time stayed in one of their Signature Deluxe King rooms this time (room 315) and it was fantastic. A large suite with a very comfortable king size bed, large TV, huge ensuite bathroom. Everything was new, well-decorated and spotless. The front-desk staff were polite.

I reserved 2 premium king rooms and they were fabulous. Clean and cozy. Our rooms were on the first floor and had a patio with a fire pit overlooking the garden. It was quiet and relaxing. The front desk staff were attentive and helpful. We used the shuttle to go to a restaurant near the hotel. The service was excellent. Nespresso machine and espresso pods in the room to enjoy. Underground parking and location of the hotel were great. In the morning stop by the Budapest bakery a few doors down and enjoy a chimney cake. Delicious. We loved 124 on Queen and will stay here every time we are in Niagara on the Lake.

We booked the 2-bedroom villa and it was awesome! So spacious and it had everything we needed for our 2-night stay for a family of 5, 4 adults and 1 toddler. It was clean and had a great view of the back patio. The staff was very attentive and John was extremely helpful and courteous! We asked for directions to a hair salon and they just offered to shuttle us to and from! When we return, we will definitely stay here. My only recommendation would be to add a secondary door at the top of the steps. This villa was on the second floor, so you enter through your main door, go up about 20 steps and enter the villa. With a toddler, an extra door in that doorway would have been better, especially for safety for children and guests as the alleyway is the only way to your villa and is accessible by anyone. Meaning, you don't go through the hotel lobby to enter. The rooms at The Gtehouse has double security doors, so the villas need it, too.

I did book a number of rooms for my guests from Europe. They had the most amazing experience at this hotel. Larisa, the manager, was superb with her excellence and hospitality skills. By far most enjoyable and classy stay one could think of. Taste, comfort, elegance and worth the value of every dollar paid!!

From street directions for parking right up to the very end of our stay everything was well laid out and directions so clear. The hotel is recently renovated, clean and beautiful. Modern decor and room amenities such as the Nespresso machine, bar fridge, large bathroom with rain shower are just of the small details that make this boutique hotel luxurious. The staff were all so pleasant ... you felt like family. Dining is provided by 2 restaurants steps away from the hotel, fine dining and the other a bit more casual. The spa was so clean and tranquil and the staff so very attentive and pleasant. The experience includes massage and hydrotherapy (eucalyptus steam room, sauna, hot/cold pools). Special mention re guest services manager Larissa and Spa Assistant Donna... exceptional customer service! We definitely plan to come again!

Really nice hotel and great location. Unfortunately there was miscommunication so we didn’t get to experience the full spa as it is still under construction however the services and treatments we received while at the spa were incredible. The spa and hotel team did work with us to come up with a resolution to the issues we encountered. Would recommend and will likely go back to the spa when it is fully open. Some stuff to note: -Called the hotel and spa to ask if they had robes in multiple sizes was told by multiple people no, however, when I got there they did. I had already packed and brought my own - called the front desk to ask for feminine hygiene products on our second day. Was told they would be delivered to the room. We waited over an hour and no one showed up. Called to ask again and was told they didn’t have any. When we went to the spa they had a full stock. - unpacked the car upon arrival to be told our room was in a different building. And the clerk said it would be best to repack our car and unpack after we park. Thankfully another clerk came forward and said they would take care of getting our luggage to our room. Overall a good experience but a few hiccups along the way.

Great location and beautiful rooms. My husband and I were upgraded to a villa which was a nice treat. Staff is great. Special thanks to Larissa who has been super accommodating. Can't wait to go back when the expansion is complete.

My fiancé and I stayed at 124 on Queen for a night and had a wonderful stay! The staff were very attentive and helpful. Our room was great too! Being able to see the town in action from the view of our room was great. We will definitely be back to stay!

Had a great couples massage. The RMTs were fantastic and knowledgeable. Will definitely come back when all the renovations are complete.

Great location! Shower wasn't working well, wasn't very well-flowing, and there were even some missing shower tiles. Everything else was great- including check-in and check-out personnel.

Larissa and team at 124 Queen are absolutely phenomenal! From the moment you book, until the moment you leave, just first class service. A well kept boutique hotel; a gem of Niagara on the Lake. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds. The grab and go breakfast delicious and Covid friendly…couldn’t ask for more.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was excellent. The cedar linings in the closets was a little unexpected luxury that my wife definitely appreciated. The room is like a 1 bedroom apartment with an oversized en suite bathroom as well as a smaller one beside the kitchen. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff were/are very helpful and accommodating. They took care of every request cheerfully and rapidly. The new underground garage was bright, clean and easy to access. We did not use the Spa but that also looked beautiful. The location is ideal with a Starbucks on site and Treadwell's restaurant next door is our favourite in town dining location.

Spent an amazing afternoon at the Spa here. Staff were attentive and welcoming, massage was great. Change rooms were well equipped, bathrobes and towels were plush and luxurious. Spa circuit was restorative and relaxing. Salt water plunge pool, hot tub and sauna were clean and new. Steam room was extremely enjoyable and the best part! Can’t wait to go back once the snow room is ready!

124 on Queen is our favourite place to stay when visiting NOTL. With this visit we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and were surprised with an upgrade to a beautiful Signature One Bedroom Suite!!! We were blown away! This coupled with their top notch service always makes for a wonderful experience. Thank you for everything and for making our celebration that much more special.

Hotel 124 on Queen is perfect. Right on the strip, lovely accommodating staff, convenient (and included) parking and the most beautiful, spacious rooms. We stayed here mid May for a girls weekend and the rooms with 2 queens in the new part of the hotel were gorgeous. Spacious, so beautifully designed, amazing amenities (a fridge for the wine!). The spa looked beautiful (although we didn’t have time for a visit). I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

I stayed here last week for my wedding. The rooms are very clean and amenities are great. One warning for any brides staying at 124: I purposely booked a suite to ensure we would have enough room for my dress and everything else we brought for the wedding. When we got to the room, there was no full length closet for my dress. The front desk was eager to help, but the time it took to figure out a solution + the added stress was something I wouldn’t want to repeat during an already busy and stressful weekend.

The staff we friendly and very helpful. My friend and I went for a wine tour, they took our bags and had them in our room when we returned. Additionally, they carried our boxes of wine purchases to our room. We visited the brand new bar prior to dinner and it was very nice and the two staff were friendly! The room was a double king! Huge room and washroom - newly renovated and comfy beds. We will be back!

I’m writing this review specifically to commend the amenities and the exceptional work of the spa therapists. We love the hotel, and for that reason, it is where we prefer to stay in NOL, but the spa today was absolutely perfect. Dawn did a body peel treatment for my mom and Rachel was my massage therapist. Both of these ladies gave us an amazing experience. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants a great day at the spa. Donna was a very obliging and pleasant hostess, who gave us a tour and answered every question. Thank you, ladies:)

We stayed one night on Thursday Dec 1st and had a great experience. The staff were all genuinely warm and friendly. Wish we had more time to explore the hotel but the cocktail bar is a hidden gem! Max, I believe was the 'mixologist' and he knocked out some serious drinks! The Starbucks next door is always a plus. The location is perfect on the main street! Rooms were brand new and very comfortable. Appreciate the effort by the whole team to make it a great stay.!

My fiancee and I spent the weekend at 124 on Queen and cannot speak more highly of the accommodations, service and attention to detail! The hotel was able to accommodate our room request and even helped me secretly set up the room for our proposal. We stayed in the Deluxe King Room and it was by far the nicest hotel room we've ever stayed in. Everything at this hotel has been thought about down to the fancy alarm clocks in each room. The location cannot be beat and the proximity to the historic district was very convenient. We also had the opportunity to visit the spa during our stay which was beautiful and well maintained. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying at Niagara-on-the-Lake!

Came to Niagara on the Lake since neither of us have been in 20+ years. Was also our first getaway all year. Did not disappoint. Hotel was very nice with clean rooms and dare I say...to many pillows for once(trust me it's not a bad thing). The spa was absolutely amazing and just what we needed. Between the Swedish massages followed by 2 hours in the sensory area. Was an experience almost like no other and one of my favorites. Relax in the many warm and cold areas to give your body what most are lacking. The steam room is especially amazing. Even if not staying at the hotel, booking a few hours there should be on your list when visiting the area. Price wise it was great as well with the sensory area only being a small add on to the massage.

I pulled up to the front of the hotel with no idea where to park. I called the front desk and she was SUPER helpful. I had arrived before the rest of my party. She came outside to provide me with a parking pass and directions. She was such a friendly soul. Our 2 bedroom suite was breathtaking, clean and close to everything. Overall impressed!!
