We booked for the quad biking and lunch experience and had such a wonderful time. The quad biking was TONS of fun, we did get very dirty though so bear that in mind. Afterwards we had a lovely lunch out under the trees. Definitely recommend this experience!

Truly lovely setting. Booked well in advance. Table not ready. Menu way too basic and was not advised of specials board. Ordered lamb chops, they came room temperature without a knife to cut into them. R230 charge for these two "beauties" and when asked if I wanted salad or chips, the salad was charged for as an extra, R30!!! Ordered an apple pie, icey cold, not even heated. Service was lacking and any question had to be taken back to the kitchen to check. This is the third time we've visited. Not again.

Attended the Women’s Day Breakfast and it was GREAT. Staff was very accommodating and helpful although they were low on staff due to the strike. The views at this estate is so so breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous , I will definitely return for Wine tasting and other activities.

I had the pleasure of visiting Morgenhof recently, and I must say that it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our visit was the incredible food. Claudio, the chef, served us the best pizza we have ever tasted. The tomato and herb topping was so flavorful and aromatic that we couldn't stop raving about it. The crust was perfectly crispy and light, and the cheese was perfectly melted. It was clear that Claudio takes great pride in his work, and his passion for cooking shines through in every dish. But the experience didn't end there. We also had the pleasure of meeting Duncan, an inspirational leader who is clearly committed to creating something truly special at Morgenhof. He shared with us his vision for the future, and we were left feeling curious and excited to see what the next few years will bring. Overall, our visit to Morgenhof was extraordinary, and we can't wait to come back in two years to see the results of Duncan's plan. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with exceptional food and a welcoming atmosphere, then Morgenhof should be at the top of your list. It was lovely experience at the Cause and Effect Bar, being served a classy barman, Micheal Mutsende, who gave us a lovely experience ,very entertaining and very educational. You won't regret making a pit stop here, good food and good drinks with good company!

Very nice people, very familiar and a beautiful place. The prices were nice and the menu was very good too. The waitress was very polite and the small lunch we received was so good we almost couldn't stop. Everything was very fresh and tasted delicious too.

Venue is great for small functions, very scenic, food is good too. The lighting was a bit dull for an evening event and the fire place extractor was not working or the wood was a bit wet which made it a bit smokey inside. Other than that, the staff are friendly and very acvommodating.

We had a great weekend with my wife. Definitely we are going back there again

Very beautiful LUSH tranquil estate 😍 we visited for the wine obvs, picnic, and the quad biking in the farm. Enjoyed it all. Met and exceeded our expectations. Lovely friendly staff. Happy to visit again. Soon.

Beautiful wine selection and excellent service. The prices exceed what is usually seen in stores so we did not buy any bottles there but we will be back with friends for more tastings in the future!

Morgenhof Wine Farm is in the process of upgrading the venue and is already an improvement following its sale to new owners. We had lunch at the bistro. The burger is excellent and the cheese platter was huge. They charge cellar price for their wine. I highly recommend a visit for a lunch or dinner.

3rd visit to Morgenhof for the Pop-up Market. Best market in Cape Town.

We had a very pleasant and warm welcome and continued to have a very delicious lunch at the restaurant and loved that we’re able to do the wine tasting alongside having lunch The food prices are quite reasonable but the wine is on the pricey side. I would revisit the Sauvignon blanc which we both enjoyed very much Would not mind coming back for a picnic or quad-biking

What a fabulous experience! It was the re-launch of the estate, a very special event. The ambience was invigorating, the food was plentiful and beyond tasty. The live entertainment was top class and catered for every taste and preference. I can imagine that the Sunday market day would be a special treat. I would DEFINITELY go back to the new Morgenhof. And you should too. Go on, spoil yourself!

Cause and Effect Cocktail Bar and Kitchen is Stunning! Superb seafood platter and such fun cocktails! Gluten free diet catered for safely.

Fantastic wines (Malbec is worth every cent) Great venues to choose from If you haven’t been here in 6 months do yourself a favour and visit again! Staff are super friendly and accommodating

Lovely estate with lots of open space for kids to run. 2013 estate wine is fantastic. Will return again definitely.

Edit: I have received a response and reservation confirmation. I have to say the communication method needs to be rethought. A little more professionalism goes a long way. Bought an experience they participate in. (for 6 people) tried to reserve a date to come and do the experience they give me Berger number who doesnt answer his phone all day. I left a voice mail to which he sends me a whatsapp voice note I can hardly make out anything he says. Thats it!! Been trying to reserve my spot all day but nothing. They quickly take your money though!!!

Decided to pop in after many years to see what the place and their wines were up to! Friendly service with a smile. Beautiful scenery for sitting outside. Wines are well priced and the testing are with the lunch looked enticing. Found to be on the “ over” commercialization aspect of things with a coffee bar and drinks bar, etc. But the wines are good. Worth a visit.

Lovely place! Awesome scenery ! Our waiter wat trying his best, but the service/kitchen in the other hand was slow, waited very long for our food and when we received the food , it was really bad! Some of us had beef and chicken burgers. The burgers were very dry, no basting or sauce and the patties had no taste. One of us had a beef strip wrap. The beef in the wrap was 90% fat with two beef strips in the wrap that was edible. If they give a little attention to their food offering I I’ll give them a 10/10
