Review
is
limited
to
the
restaurant
and
the
summarized
version:
For
the
pricepoint
-
there
are
better
establishments
in
the
area
which
offer
a
more
pleasant
dining
experience.
During
a
spontaneous
outing,
we
chanced
upon
Val
de
Vine,
a
restaurant
boasting
a
scenic
view
that
promised
a
great
dining
experience
according
to
its
online
photos.
On
arrival,
we
followed
the
group
ahead,
briefly
pausing
on
the
deck
before
being
greeted
by
a
server.
The
casual
atmosphere
was
immediately
evident
as
we
were
informed
that
reservations
for
couples
weren't
necessary
and
we
were
free
to
choose
any
available
seating.
The
restaurant
wasn't
particularly
crowded,
which
allowed
us
to
pick
a
spot
that
perfectly
framed
the
stunning
view.
We
opted
for
sparkling
water
to
start.
Although
Val
de
Vine
doesnโt
have
a
cocktail
menu,
I
noticed
other
diners
enjoying
bespoke
drinks,
so
it
might
be
worth
inquiring
about
their
options.
It's
worth
noting
that
the
pool
deck
area,
where
we
were
seated,
isn't
air-conditioned,
which
meant
it
got
a
bit
warm.
This
being
our
first
visit
and
having
read
mixed
reviews,
we
decided
to
test
the
waters
with
their
tapas
menu.
Unfortunately,
the
dishes,
while
adequately
portioned,
were
underwhelming
in
flavor
and
lacked
a
certain
je
ne
sais
quoi.
Service
was
prompt,
with
our
food
arriving
in
about
20
minutes.
Given
our
initial
experience,
we
chose
not
to
venture
into
the
main
course
offerings
and
concluded
our
meal
there.
While
Val
de
Vine
shines
in
its
location
and
view,
the
combination
of
mediocre
food,
a
somewhat
uncomfortable
dining
setting,
and
the
price
point
lead
me
to
recommend
exploring
other
dining
options
in
the
area.
