Simply a reliable, fairly priced city hotel for sightseeing trips. Many superficial aspects seem a little dated, but are at least clean and in perfect working order. All the essentials are done well: Sleep quality, shower, breakfast, location. Free access to the neighboring full-service KFUM (~YMCA) gym with sauna is a gift in this price range. Your room key opens the doors there too. The breakfast selection is enormous, including all continental, hot and Nordic favorites. There seems to be more than enough seating to meet peak demand, but queues form at the buffet from around 8:00. A handful of attractive bars and restaurants are available in the direct vicinity. The location felt safe even after dark. All of Stockholm's classic tourist attractions are an easy walk from the hotel, while the nearest subway station is 5 minutes and Central Station is 20 minutes away on foot.

Situated at a reasonable distance from the city center, allowing you to take a pleasant walk there instead of having to rely on public transportation (about 25 minutes). The breakfast provided was delicious, so it's definitely worth considering when booking your stay. However, it's important to note that check-in isn't possible until 3:00 pm, but the hotel provides a luggage storage facility for guests to use while they wait. Overall, I had a great experience here and would definitely stay here again during my next visit to Stockholm.

Great spot if you’re looking for a central yet affordable place to stay, in order to spend your money on all the great cafés and restaurants Stockholm has got to offer instead. Soft and comfy bed. Breakfast won’t make you go “wow!” but has everything you need to start your day right. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetables. Rooms are neat and clean.

I accidentally went to the wrong Best Western because I did not book my hotel myself and they weren't very understanding about it at the other place (my Swedish is not great and it was my mistake I guess) but this hotel is absolutely lovely

Thank you to the team for the warm welcome. The hotel is absolutely stunning, and so is the city (and country) that I am exploring for the first time. The hotel's location is perfect for a leisurely stroll along the Strömmen, where you can admire the dozens of magnificent swans, or through the charming old town. As a French person, I have to admit it's refreshing to visit a city that's even cleaner than... Paris. I mean, let's face it, Paris is famous for its unique charm, but also for its dirt and pollution. But hey, who needs clean streets when you have croissants and wine, right? And if you're looking for a memorable experience, I highly recommend checking out the changing of the guards at the Royal Palace. It's a fascinating display of tradition and pageantry that's definitely worth seeing. Just make sure to arrive early to get a good view, and you won't be disappointed. PS: I apologize for my English, which I know can be as thick as a French baguette. My vocabulary may be as old as the Louvre, but I hope I can still convey my appreciation for this wonderful experience. Thank you again!

Great staff, nice rooms and good break fast. We had a nice stay! Downtown is not that far by transport or by walk.

Room is extremely small no air conditioning, bathroom is so small that taking a shower makes entire bathroom wet . They don’t consider offering early check in to those who have come after being 24 hours out of their homes. Breakfast buffet is great

Excellent breakfast and a fantastic gym with everything you need for a full on workout. The rooms were very clean and tidy. But will need updating soon. Otherwise I would have given it full marks.

Nice hôtel, very well placed. The price are very different depending on the period, from reasonably cheap to fairly expensive. Nice breakfast.

Disgusting! Dirty!!! First the lady that did my check in has a very bad attitude toward me. The room and the bathroom were dirty which is really disgusting!! THE MOST DISGUSTING!! The bathroom was dirty. there was someone else’s old dirty trash bags in the shower.I called the front desk to ask to remove them immediately but no one answer my multiple calls. It still nauseates me when I think about this!!! Worst experience ever!!! The staff was unhelpful and lacked any basic communication toward their customer. and THE bathroom very dirtY!!! This is my first and last stay IN THIS HOTEL.I not going to recommend this hotel to any one of my family or friends

Very nice straff! And definetely worth its price :) would stay here every time in Stockholm for travel / work . Located in the very city center. Close to main shopping streets / financial quarter / old town max 15 minute walk

The rooms are clean, very warm and have all you need for a pleasant stay. Breakfast plentiful. Location close to shops and the water front, all within walking distance.

I'm usually the heaviest sleeper of any group, but this hotel is very difficult to get a rest in. It's quite noisy from the cars outside, the roar from the engine of even the tiniest cars penetrate your very core and the doors inside also make a high enough sound that you will instinctively wake up because it sounds like your own door is being opened all the time. The room, especially near the bathroom also smells a bit funky like if there are odors coming from the sink as if the waterlock has failed, I don't know how to describe it better. The accommodation fails on its main purpose which is giving you a rest and giving it any other rating than this for politeness defeats the purpose of a reviewing system. It won't just cost you money, it will also cost you energy as you stay there. I can assure you I'm always quite nuanced when I do these reviews on different websites and give something else higher than 1 star even if the experience isn't the best. This 1 star is saved for rare letdowns like this and a check shows this is the only time I've ever handed out such. It's no criticism of the staff which are nice, but the very room itself.

Excellent location just around a couple of corners from the bigger streets, a short walk from Drottninggatan, Hötorget, and the city centre. Rooms are basic and could use a freshening up (or just better cleaning). Breakfast buffet is nothing special but good enough. The TVs have a well-working Chromecast function built-in, which is always a happy surprise!

Rooms were not as advertised we were extremely disappointed.. Room had no ventilation, no window (despite having a curtain... A curtain for a solid wall??). It was just grimey and dirty.

I stayed there at the beginning of March and it was a fantastic stay. Clean rooms, bigger than expected. Good room temperature (and it snowed every day!). Tasty and wonderful breakfast. Perfect ubication, just 10 minutes walking to Gamla Stan.

I was surprised at the rooms, the reception, and the buffet breakfast! This hotel should pass for a 4 star. They were quick to respond to complaints and very attentive . I have no negative comments about this hotel.

It's best to get breakfast out, only because it's a small area and people are almost fighting over seats. 1 person got getting quite vocal. Definitely see a change in cultural attitude from Norway.

It was wonderful experience, specially the help desk (my favourite Ms. Nailie). Near to Centralstation, all accessible easily, very fresh and well serving for breakfast.

Nice, cozy hotel almost in the center of Stockholm. Friendly staff. You can even find basketball court here. Of course gym, sauna and few gym classes are available here. Tasty breakfast which you can choose from a lot of different options . Highly recommend! 🙂

Everything was more than perfect. We arrived early, so we were allowed to sit luggage and either stroll the city and come back or relax in the comfortable lounge. We decided to stay back. They offered unlimited mulled wine, tea / coffee and ginger biscuits. Apart from that it was the attention to detail that surprised me. Like 2 phone charging stations, computer to surf Internet, ample books and water outlets in the lounge that had multiple sofas to chill out. We were equally impressed with the rooms and other amenities. The rooms, en suite bathrooms, corridors etc were spotless clean, very comfy beds and the advanced TV allowed us to stream movies etc from our phones and play music over bluetooth. There are also other amenities included in the room like safe, tea coffee making, ironing boards etc. There are also 2 fantastic gyms and sauna all included in the room price. The included continental breakfast is great. Everything from cereals, juice, tea/ coffee, hot food, fruits, ginger shots, desert is included in the breakfast. The reception is always friendly and eager to help. We started for 2 nights and the day we checked out, we were allowed to keep the luggage in the store room till afternoon. The location is as good as you can find. Right in the centre, 2 metro stops from Stockholm Central Station and 2 stops from Gamla Stan - the old town. There are bus and metro stations within few mins, 300m walk.

Beds are okay. Overall decor is dated. Bathroom had a smell. Breakfast was in an uninspiring room. Location is great.

Amazing hotel to stay at - great facilities, location, and the rooms are so clean! Also, it's really quiet for the central location. The gym equipment and sauna were amazing plus.

Τhe rooms were very small, old and looked like ship cabins, but they were clean. The receptionist was a bit unfriendly and the breakfast was not very good.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect to visit Stockholm, near city center and subway stations but still quiet area. Breakfast is good with a lot of choices. Room is big enough and comfy, the only negative point is that cleaning is not done every day (empty bins, make beds).

Good location near lots of good restaurants I had a room in the anex which was a bit outdated. Room was too hot. Opening the window solved this but since I was on the floor with roof access through the window not the most comfortable thing.
