Normal hotel, nice staff, but two major drawbacks. - No fridge/cooler on the room. I like to buy my own beverages and keep them cool on the room. - Small sized breakfast area. We had to stand and wait for free seats each morning. Nice breakfast though. I will not return to the same hotel on my next visit.

Except from one not that service minded man at the reception/managment, the others make up for it! And so does the room and how convenient it is. Someone has done a really good job at the rooms in terms of everything just working. Nothing to think about, it’s all intuitive. Perfect if in and out or have a busy week! They even stored my salad for night time. I would definitely stay here again!

Good quiet location. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. Very basic rooms (drawers missing handles, no bedside lights etc), and WiFi signal in the basement rooms was very poor, causing issues when trying to work.

Abgewohntes Hotel in ruhiger Lage.

Good location close to Karlaplan, and smooth check in/check out procedures. But the room was really tiny (including the bed) and the breakfast buffet was fairly basic/standard.

Bit disappointing really. The Best Western membership made us expect an international grade hotel. Instead this is a tired-old hotel that has received the very bare minimum of tweaking to make it nominally "four stars". But if you're accustomed to real, modern, four star hotels then you're likely to feel a bit let-down like we were. The location isn't really near to anywhere. It's handy enough to the bus and metro... but it's that awkward distance from town where you might as well walk 20 minutes instead of spending 15 minutes and five bucks on the bus. Breakfast was good (but very crowded). The room was clean, but tired, unloved, and utterly soulless.

Red carpet at the entrace, and here is where the 4 star experience starts and ends. Got a tiny room with child-size bed. I've never slept in such a tiny bed, too small for an adult male. Insufficient, old and chipped furniture. Paint and doors all over the hotel needs refreshing, bathroom needs urgent refreshing as well. Paper thick walls where you can hear everything the neighbors do and heavy doors that get slammed during the night. Rooms need soundproofing, as you will woke up several times during the night because of the neighbors and hallway noise. Breakfast is decent. Location is good. Cleaning is very good. However, my overall experience was bad. As a frequent traveler, I dont think I've had a most disappointing experience with another hotel. Not recommended for business trips and if you need silence to sleep well during the night. I got a 2-star experience for a 4-star price. I will not return to this hotel.

Great value for money. Only 2 stops on the metro from the central station. Fantastic and professional service by the front desk staff. Have lift.

Great location for what we needed and walking distance into central Stockholm, although we got the underground back. Rooms were spacious for 2 adults and a child but so hot! Even with the 2 provided fans it was stuffy and too hot. Breakfast is your usual hotel standard with a nice selection and we enjoyed having access to coffee. All in all a nice hotel and we'd stay again.

All good. Rooms could use some refreshment, but there is always something in any place that could be better

Very nice hotel close to museums, shopping and tourist spots. Stayed there for work and had excellent service and a very tasty breakfast. Will stay there again.

Amazing hotel in a great location. Close to city center but not too close. Quiet and beautiful area. Great breakfast, rooms, and staff! I would love to return one day.

The desk staff isn't very well informed, have poor communication skills. Breakfast was good and the kitchen staff has a big smile and replenish things often. The rooms are very outdated and there's mold in the bathroom. I'd expect a little more for a 4 stars hotel. But the location was very handy for what I needed.

I've enjoyed my staying :) Good staffs, clean room, decent breakfast and good location. Sure, I've stayed at a bit better hotels with same rating but I've also had horrendous experience with other 4-star hotels in other european cities. Room was a bit small but it was enough for me. Maybe some storage furniture would be nice but I didn't need one. I also liked how cozy it was. It was really nice to have quite breakfast instead of extreme noise of hundreds of people talking during breakfast in big hotels even if these hotels had more varied food items to offer. No long queue either in front of elevators which is huge minus for me when staying at bigger hotels than this.

Hotel is in serious need of renovation. Almost every piece of furniture in our room was severely damaged. The cleaners appear to do little or nothing and are very impolite. We got a room with a balcony, but the area underneath the balcony turned out to to be the most popular smoking spot in the area, luckily not much was missed, because the view was of a construction site. The only good thing about this hotel is location, unless you are desperate I would recommend avoiding it at all costs.

Great Location close to anything in an peaceful and quite environment/neighborhood. There is a shopping center walking distance with a lot of options of food and even a supermarket. Actually in front of the shopping there is a stop of one of the hop-on/hop-off companies. Karlaplan Park and boulevard is a couple of blocks from the hotel where you can spend some quality time walking or cycling. The hotel has a great breakfast with several options. Just be mind that from Friday to Sunday it is necessary to make an appointment. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was awesome!

This review was made in 2018. This is a home from home hotel. Comfy well appointed rooms and en suites. The buffet breakfast is amazing with plenty of choice. Thing that makes this hotel stand out from the others we have stayed in is the staff. They are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and above all, polite treating each guest as an individual. 2022 update. Rooms still comfy but very tired, same furniture from years ago. Breakfast always get 5 stars, great choices for all. What made this stand out before was the staff but not this time. Been going here for over 15 years and I can honestly say, I felt nothing more than a cash transaction this time. Not sure if its under new management but good customer service is lead from the top down. During our stay we started looking elsewhere for a new hotel to call home next Christmas.

We just slept there one night and it was a nice place not too far from the train station and the price is good for an hotel in Stockholm. We appreciate: - the friendliness of the staff - the quality of the breakfast - swedish Christmas cakes and drink available to guests - a secure room for our luggages during our appointment - no noise in the room A negative point, the bathroom is a little dated and the shower head could be replaced. Good value for money.

Great location of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a baby crib prepared on arrival that was perfect. Rooms are ok in size, a bit dated and decorated but still clean. However the bathroom was large and renovated. Had a street view hotel so could be a bit loud in the morning with traffic. breakfast was great, not to much people.

We were in Stockholm for a week and the hotel was really great. People from the reception were very kind and they helped us with any problem we had. The room was fine with a big and comfortable bed. It was everything very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. We would come back for sure.

I liked this hotel very much. It was calm, comfortable and the breakfast was very good. I recommend this hotel for a short stay if you have come to see the capital of Sweden. It is 10 minutes walk from the underground

Confusing. Thursday night hotel was qyite empty, but price was triple from Fridat night. Breakfast is nice, and plenty offered, but make sure you are early on Friday morning, as from 9.45 hotel's staff is lining up for "cleaning" the left overs. For Saturday morning breakfast you have to pre-register, as it's super-crowded and no chance to get in earlier. Room is quite ok and clean, but aged in some corners, and I do not understand why there is no wardrobe built in. Mattress is ok, tea-cofee-kettle-hair fan on the place. Eveb we found a small air heater in the corner, as at 10pm the central heating is switched off and it's not for everyone's taste. Location is quite ok, bus/metro is 5 min walk.

This must have been one of the worst hotels I stayed in. There is no noise isolation. You can hear EVERYTHING. Past 7am, doors are clapping, people chatting, some vacuuming, suitcases being dragged. The single beds are very narrow and too soft. The sink is tiny and leaning over to brush teeth is blocked by a shelf. The shower heads are not splitting the water drops properly. The lady at the counter was nice and swapped my room, but it did not help resolve any of the problems. Never again, I‘m gonna try to remove it from the company‘s travel portal so that none of my colleagues have to experience this.
