The room was ok, even if it was pretty hot and small. The bathroom was really small. We asked for a queen-size bed, but they gave us two singles. The personell was really polite and gentle though!

We have been in this hotel during the Christmas market period. We have received at our arrive in the hotel a nice gift with some chocolate and a glass to use in the Christmas market. The room was clean but really small. The hotel has a small park area that get full easily but you can park your car in the parking in front the hotel that is not expensive. For the buffet breakfast in my opinion for the quality/cost is better do it outside.

Very close to Petite France. Small rooms and decent breakfast. Some rooms have canal views. Great rates for winter.

By far the worst Ibis I have ever been, to be avoided! Half staff are polite and helpful, half rude and disrespectful especially the ones in the cleaning service and in need of soft skills training. The rooms are small and the sheets not spotless. I had to ask for and clean set when I arrived and place them myself. The toilet water level is elevated so better always flush with the cover down to avoid splashing around! The breakfast choice is mediocre, better go for a nice cafĆ© or bakery downtown. Great plus its location only. Definitely not worth 124ā‚¬ per night!

We were supposed to visit Strasbourg and booked our stay in this hotel. Unfortunately, our train Paris - Strasbourg coincided with a national strike in France (January 19th, 2023) and all means of transport collapsed. We searched all possible ways to go to Strasbourg but it was impossible. Hence, we kinldy asked the hotel to move the dates of our stay, since our train was cancelled (and the day before, and the day after). We called 3 times and we were unpleasantly surprised with the reaction of ALL the employees, who literally told us that the strike was "not their fault" and that they wouldn't do us the favor of moving our dates to another weekend within the year. We are deeply disappointed, not only because it was out of our control and lost our vacation trip as well as our money, but mostly because we were treated miserably, and the last lady that got us on the phone hung up on us. Worst customer service ever.

Small rooms for normal people. Excellent position to visit Strasbourg. Parking underground (paid) nearby.

Rooms are tiny, bathroom tinier and smells like a poorly maintained public bathroom. They are doing renovations, so be prepared to wake up in the early morning to the sound of drilling and hammering.

This hotel hits all the basic stuffs you need from a hotel, but you won't find much comfort from it. I can't say it's a great-for-value hotel because although it's cheaper than other hotels around, it is just a budget hotel room which gave us a cheap feeling. A small bedroom and a small shower room are all you get. At least the services were amazing and the location of the hotel is close to the city center. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Itā€™s a standard Ibis Hotel with smal rooms, especially the bathrooms are really small. In general you get what you expect. But some employees are not friendly or do not want to speak English to you and keep talking in French with an attitude. Next to that the rooms are very clean and neat. And its close to the centrum.

Very convenient hotel just 1.3km from the city centre and 500metres from Petit France. Breakfast very good with quite a few choices.

Wouldnā€™t recommend! The room was very small and itā€™s impossible to rest. You can hear every time someone closes the door in the rooms near your and it gets very noisy early in the morning. Unfortunately we had guests around us who liked to party and got at the hotel very late, waking us up many times during the night. The staff was friendly and cleanliness of the room was not the best but ok.

1 night at this hotel, these wer the smallest. Hotel rooms I ever saw with the smallest bath room in the world! You get what you pay for, but I ask myself: do we really have to accept this kind of rooms for 75ā‚¬???? Hotels nowadays save employees and space, offer the cheapest supply and prices still go up - where will this end? I still give 4 stars, because the room was very clean, the staff very friendly and the price not too much!

We had a lovely time here, the hotel is in walking distance to all Christmas markets and tourist sites. The room was small but we hardly spent anytime in it. The facilities were all great and the bar was very reasonable.

The hotel was generally good but was looking a little run down and in need of renovation. There were also some strange design choices in the rooms such as having no plug sockets next to the bed and no blinds to cover the bathroom window. The mattress was not particularly comfortable and the walls were quite thin. Well located, but not actually in the historical centre (just over the river). Very good breakfast.

Extremely satisfied. Location in view of Pont Couvert and easy walking distance to main attractions. Room spotless. Varied breakfast. The little gifts on arrival were a lovely surprise. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It did its purpose. However, I did find it funny that there's a window on the WC - Whenever I had to go to the toilet in the middle of the night I needed to put a shirt on. Room is really small (specially the restroom), but I think it's acceptable for the price. The breakfast was good and all the staff was really nice.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Ibis Hotel in Strasbourg's historic center! The staff was polite and attentive, and the breakfast buffet offered a lot of options. The value for money is exceptional, with comfortable rooms and a prime location. Highly recommend for an enjoyable and budget-friendly experience!

Breakfast not really worth (not the worst in Strasbourg but below average for Accor Hotels), ~15min walking distance from the central train station, but nothing really around. Head shower could be cleaned from time to time. Paper cups with plastic cover under the "ecology" excuse, are useless to hold anything and it's more garbage you are producing

Hotel already slightly worn. Rooms very small but clean. But the bathroom is really a tragedy. The elevator in our house is bigger. It is not possible to sit comfortably on the toilet. When I want to wash my face, I have to open the door, otherwise I can't lean forward.

Small room, not suitable for 2 people.. Come with big group travelling around West Europe, with wake up called 06:30 and can't have breakfast untill 07:30, while we need to depart 08:30..

Super small room not enough space get dressed or even put your shoes on with two people. Bathroom even worse you have to sit sideways on the toilet because itā€™s so close to the wall. It wasnā€™t super dirty but not that clean either, bathroom door was rotting away. We only got one towel each, no small towel for hands/face. Breakfast was atrocious. Stay away from this! itā€™s cheap but should be Waaaay cheaper for how bad it is.

We had some private issues upon our arrival, but the hotel reception was always easy to reach and helpful. They helped us to find a solution and we can absolutely recommend the hotel!

As expected. Great service all round from staff to the room. One reason I always use Ibis especially during these time is I know what to expect in freshness and cleanliness and they always deliver.

Nice hotel with affordable prices. Small room, especially the bathroom but very clean. Very close to the city center and the Little France. Liked it!

Affordable rooms, very basic but does the job for a short stay. āŗļø Pros: Pet friendly šŸ¶ ā¹ļø Cons: no kettle for hot drinks in the room

Old, super small room, not clean. They have a tiny parking lot. On the other end they recommend a public parking lot, for 12ā‚¬ per day. However no indications on how to reach the hotel from there.

The room was rather small, but functional, and we had a nice view to the river! The personal was friendly, and even though they spoke Spanish, they smiled when I tried to answer in French šŸ˜… The only downside to this hotel is the locationā€¦ yeah, itā€™s close to the ā€œhistoric centreā€, but the main places are like half an hour walking šŸ«

We booked Ibis Centre Histrorique just a week before our travel dates and its prime location was the primary reason for booking it. The rooms are a little too small but we were visiting in winter and the cozy setting was fine. We faced some issues on the first day (the shower cabin was leaking water etc) but they were very kind and prompt to fix it all within a few hours. Ibis Centre Historique also has a lovely bar-lounge where you can sit in the evenings and enjoy drinks. Once again, the location is superb.

Excellent experience for the affordable price (it was on discount on their web). We got the revamped room. It was a but small but at least it was comfortable. It's clean, and the hall smells nice. Staffs were very kind and welcoming!

Friendly service and staff. Clean room but the bath is very small. Close to Tram and to the city centre.

Good for a night or two The location is very good. There is the modern art museum right next door, the tram station, a Carrefour City (small supermarket), a parking garage and the Pont Couvert. The room and bathroom were clean but so very small. If I'd have stayed longer I'd be annoyed of having to walk around one other and wouldn't know where to put my luggage.

Very small and cramped room. Quite expensive if you want to pay on the day compared to the internet.

  • 2/5 Alba S. 2 years ago on Google
Giving the covid context, the cleaning of the room was not acceptable. We had no soap in the shower for 2 days and we only got it after really demanding it. The towels weren't changed anless you put on the floor in the middle of the room and made it really obvious that you wanted them to be changed. On the other hand, really close to the center and nice welcome and advice from the hotel receptionist.
